I am absolutely amazed - we haven't kicked a ball in anger yet and I'm reading posts on here that have us doomed already - things like Bielsa isn't experienced, we haven't spent enough money, we need this player and that player, is it possible not to moan about what we havnt got and to praise what we have - we needed a quality striker, got one - we needed a winger, got one-time we needed a good left back, got one, needed a new keeper, got one - we all have different opinions on what we want in our team, but let's at least see what our new coach and players can do before we hang them - it's called possitivity.

It's called human nature Kray. People will always want what they haven't got. Myself included. If you also take into account the fact that LUFC have been out of top flight for a very long time, fans are going to be frustrated. Myself included. Given our history, this is just as likely to happen before a ball has been kicked, as it is after the season is decided.

Here here Kray, what matters is how we play, how many points we get and where we finish in the league! We have a new coach, who is putting a new team together with a new style. Give him a chance to do the job and then constructively criticise how we play. We’ve not kicked a ball yet! Still got the sales open for a few more days and loans until the end of the month. It’s a bold move and an imaginative appointment and we’ve got some really interesting players and lost one for 6.5 million, who we all argued about how good he was. If we are supporters let’s get supporting the team! It feels like there a few people out there hoping Stoke will thump us so they can say “told you so”! Good luck Bielsa, all the best to the new guys, Klich, take this opportunity, if you get it and Pablo and Saiz let’s show the boss what you can do.

Are the doom merchants as some are called not football fans that are knowledgeable and entitled to be posting their opinions. Some can seegive we haven't been that ambitious with the signings and the fact that the back four remain the same that were torn apart time and time again last season. Why will they be any different.

First thing - I don't care about the thumb downers, they are entitled to an opinion even if it is wrong - secondly Wex our back 4 isn't the same as last year- new left back, new set up, and new coach giving them new ideas - all I'm saying is give the guys a go before slating them - if they are bad against Stoke then fine, but give them a chance first.

Let's see tomorrow if MB has faith in the newbies. That in the short time he has had them they have bought in to his style. My 3-3-3-1 line up if he has would be
Berardi-Ayling-Douglas/ / / Baker-Philips -Klich/ / / Pablo-Saiz-Harrison/ / / Bamford. Personally, for this one, I would go with four at the back and Philips a sitting halfback. I have a feeling we will be doing more defending than attacking.

I feel slightly worried and a tad disappointed to hear Radrizzanis comments on the forced sale of Viera. It sounds as though, for all his good intentions, we have managed to find a millionaire with no money. He means well and hopefully will see us through but up against some owners who can buy buy solutions to there problems we have to sell the family jewels to pay the rent. Well, it is what it is, We are Leeds. We are used to it. Let's just get on with it. Let's not expect any 10mill last minute swoops.

I watched Saiz away at Fulham last year and they couldn't get near him - but no one in front of him had enough brains or movement to take his passes. I think the three who play in front of him this year and the two wing backs will have and so goals will come. But Fulham, like many other teams resorted to tapping his ankles or digging him with an elbow - and they do the same to Pablo - and both of them have a short fuse or their heads drop. We still haven't got someone in defensive midfield who can protect them and that is a concern for me.

Mid table again for me. The squad is slightly better than last year but a couple of injuries will make it the same. Baker, Bamford and Harrison did nothing at Boro last season. We need a quality CB, CM, Striker and another winger, we might then finish top half. The people making the decisions are clueless, mark my words.

Ausman Who's deluded? No-one on here is saying we'll walk the league, come runners-up or even finish inside the Play-Offs. I have us coming in 9th which I'm prepared to revise upward depending on incoming deadline signings but I don't recall anyone on here predicting promotion so I suggest it is you who's deluded.

Top post Bright. Football is a game of opinions so everyone entitled to their own and to voice them but Leicester City show that surprise is still possible even at the highest level. By all accounts, Bielsa is very shrewd tactically but I do worry about us getting caught on the break and a bit of burnout. I'd love to see Kalas and Maddison come. We are playoff contenders at that point. As for sale of RV, Radz explanation highlights his honesty which I value and it's nothing we didn't already know. It suggests we're going to buy another couple of players before the deadline and I'd welcome both of my wishful thoughts plus Norwood. MOT.

Everyone keeps saying the same about Maddison at 2.5 mil, if it’s that much of a bargain you would have thought every championship club would be in for him? . I don’t watch much league 1 footy so not seen enough of him to know. if we could get the centre fwd from Man City on loan we are linked with, that could be a good loan deal, just need a centre back and winger then.

Looks like Oliver Norwood is coming as is that Citeh forward. As for Maddison, I'm hearing it's a straight up auction fight for him next week. He will go but the final transfer price is bound to exceed 2.5m. There'll be a premium paid on top. I'm guessing minimum another million with add-ons.

I am optimistic that we will see bright entertaining football this year. My only worry is the teams that sit back and hit us on the break. Especially if they risk two up front. If our game is all about pressing and playing high in their half we could be open to the long ball sucker punch. We need the back three to be the strongest in the division.

I think we will have more to worry about against the physical teams like Millwall, we haven’t got a huge amount of leaders on the pitch who stand up to teams like that.

Agree alaw. The downfall last season started with the Millwall defeat. After that then our confidence looked shot, other teams sussed us out and we were too light weight in key areas of the pitch.

Band on LIG and ALAw. the lack of physical presence across the park is what worries me most. That said, pace and ability will also frighten out of the likes of Millwall, and in Roberts and Harrison, and maybe Nmecha, we will have that. #stayinghopeful.

Gonna be honest I'm going in to Sunday's game v Stoke hoping we don't get beaten too heavily . That's no way to start a season . Douglas, Bamford and the loan signing have been decent. With viera gone and jannson and foreshaw out I think we are going in to game a CB or 2 short . And midfield could be a little weak at moment . Seems odd how viera seemed to play a prominent role In pre season and was captaining the side and now he has gone . We seem under prepared to me . Sorry guys . I'm seeing a 3-0 loss.

Stoke will be looking to get off to a flyer and let the Championship know what they're all about and I think we're a little light in key areas, so I'm going for 3-1 to the Mighty Whites.
