Even though it was a spirited second half performance I still came away disappointed, with a decent striker we could have won the game, it needs addressing soon to ensure we start climbing the table, great performance again from the fans.

This is best team for us. Gives width with the dane and Paraguayan on the wings.Austin on bench can change a game in second half should we need so can Sharp and Doukara when they can be bothered.

Having listened to commentary on 5live 2nd half sounded promising. Hope it gives Redders plenty to ponder. Sounded half decent we just need a goal to lift confidence & hopefully away we go. Jan & Feb remain massive come on lads let's fight!

Never like losing but it sounds like we weren't outclassed.
Having said that we've only scored 2 goals in the last 6 games & one of those was a penalty. There has been a lot of talk about our defence making mistakes (which they have) but it seems it's at the other end of the pitch we have a problem.
I know we are all crying out for wingers & this may sound a bit radical but what about Cook on the right wing. In a lot of games he has gone on long runs through the middle of the pitch only to get to the edge of the box & then doesn't seem to know whether to pass or shoot then he does neither & loses the ball. If he did these kind of runs on the wing his mind would be made up for him. I.e.To cross it.
I think we should play a tighter 4-2-3-1 with Mowatt on the left a bit and cook out to the right with adryan in the middle. Then I would have Austin and a more defense minded player at the back. Could be worth a shot I think?

Sounded like a good second half performance after a poor first half. Hit the post and deserved a draw according to commentary. Should give Redders more selection choices hopefully
Have watched highlights and listened to game, first half was like most of our away games this year, could have been 2 down and no real threat up front.
Second half Much better, should have scored, looked more of a team and a threat. Redders should be looking at either 442 or something like 4231 when we play away, to bolton no more diamond please. Mont seemed more of a threat than sharpe or Douk I would
put him in.

Great spirited gritty performance 2nd half, not disgraced today as we probably deserved a replay. Everyone who made a start for us today did themselves credit and should be considered for a start at weekend. Austin was star man IMO, Sloth and Murphy turned in good performances too.
Goes to show it`s about confidence, state of mind, obviously Redders if he picked team today has shown MC his (Redders) way is the way forward.
As most of us know with a few decent aditions, get rid of the dross, let Redders pick the team and formation, and a gallon or two of self belief and we can move up the league
More performances like today please.

Keith Andrews wants to return from loan at Watford. He has so much championship experience I could really see him being worth bringing in. Maybe he won't play every game but he can teach a lot to Cook and Mowatt and I feel he is exactly the type of experienced players we should be looking for. And he is now available!

I see that NR has made the changes to the team that many of you have been asking for. It seems a bit radical to me that most of these guys haven't seen any Championship time and now they are playing a Prem side. Let's hope it doesn't backfire and become an embarrassing loss. Fingers crossed that we all get want we want, a confidence boosting victory. Good luck lads

Clearly our coach is struggling to win a game at the minute and I hear MC is more concerned about the outcome of his appeal on Jan 15th.
I realise nobody on here will think anything but I'm crazy however consider this.
An option is for MC to take over as coach if he is barred from owning more than 9.9% of the club.
Redfearn continues with the academy which clearly is the job he is best suited to.
Red Bull are having another meeting in January at Elland Road.

{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head I am not sure what the regulations are in the Championship. I know you need to have got the Pro License in the Premier League, so I would assume the Championship would require the A license, purely because any team that won promotion would need a manager with the next step up from that.}

{Ed001's Note - no worries, sorry I can't give a definite answer. I did try having a quick butchers at the regs, but I couldn't find it in a quick scout. Though I suppose it is entirely possible there are no limitations in the Championship, and that I didn't find it because there isn't a reg regarding it, I seem to remember the outcry when they brought it in, with lots of moaning by ex-players thinking they should automatically be great coaches because they played the game.}
