Howson Is not leaving and will not leave for any amount of money as Leeds midfield is and will be built round howson. And Brads might go to everton but no deal can be made for us to get beckford as free agent don't make deals for some other player to join. We don't won't beckford and certainly do not need him. Brads will join either everton.norwich .Stoke.west brom.Sunderland.

Hey ed what do you think about the Smith rumours? Woodgate surely would be an even bigger risk than Smith, Lee Bowyer could be handy but both he and Woodgate's nightclub shenanigans will never be forgotten

{Ed010's Note -I agree that any Jonathan Woodgate deal would be a huge risk and any contract would need to reflect these risks. If he was able to leave his injuries behind, it would be a huge coup for Leeds.

Alan Smith is much less of a risk. In my opinion, he needs to play first team football and the goals will surely come. As for Lee Bowyer, you know exactly what you'll get with him.

{Ed010's Note -That's a difficult question to answer because neither of us know if Simon Grayson has identified any of them as potential signing targets. Let's say for the sake of arguement he has, I would then have worries about Woodgate, Smith and Bowyer returning to Elland Road. History shows that very few players, every find the same form or have the same success as they did first time round.

I addressed this very issue on the Rangers boards, (I'm the Rangers Ed) and I said there that I don't like teams re-signing players. I prefer clubs to start afresh and target players, who have their best years in front of them, rather than the opposite, which would be the case for Woodgate, Smith and Bowyer.

What do you think ? Do you think that any or all three would take your club forward ?

I think the jury is out, they'd be good as experienced heads but the injuries and the past make them a liability. I think realistically Smith or Bowyer may be more likely to have an impact in footballing terms as we miss a nasty sod who can get stuck in and command the team. There's no doubting it'd be a huge gamble. I personally wouldn't want to call it.

Wouldnt mind so much of the supposed £5M for Snoddy was gong to go on transfer fees, but just watch that cash vanish, and a boatload of freebies and loans appear.

Best rumour I have heard is that the current jokers in charge at leeds are on their way out this Summer, and that's reason why lack of transfer activity.

Jay boothroyd is interested in joining Leeds as he wants to show Cardiff what he can do ( prove they were wrong letting him go ) . BUT, alot of premier league teams are in for him aswell but he has told me he won't join Swansea as he still has respect for cardiff fans. His agent is also looking for a high signing on fee which may be a stumbling block for some lower placed prem teams and for any interested chamionship clubs ( Inc Leeds ) . He says he wants a fresh start so maybe moving from Wales / the west will be good .

It's Bothroyd for goodness sake! And he won't come to us he wants premiership football surely with him being on the fringes of the England setup

Snoddy will not leave to Norwich as he has said if he were to leave Leeds, it would be to a stable premier league club or Celtic. Leeds would rather have the players than the money anyway grayson has confirmed to make a real push for promotion next season.
Some realistic people Leeds might sign are:
Burke - released by Cardiff and has said he would be interested in joining Leeds
Shorey - Leeds in need of a left back and are in talks with him over a potential move
Delph - not getting first team football at villa after his injury, and we are in talks over a season long loan
Danns - we can get him on a free so will be one of the clubs interested
Sharp - additional striker to work with becchio

Whoever put kewell making a shock return to Leeds as "believeable" are special with a capital R, he would get the S**t beaten out of him by the other players! !
