Should we get Bielsa then it comes with a huge commitment from us fans. If all the Managers/pundits are right and he is one of the best in the world then we need to give him time. He likes to play high tempo, high pressing "electric" football which will please all us fans but it will take him and the club time to get the right players in and get them into his mindset so patience is the price we all have to pay.

Come on Speedy, BIGE it's old timers like you that should be setting an example to the new kids on the block. Show them what blind loyalty is all about. Supporting the club thro all the highs (not many) and lows (too many) . Show them what being a Leeds supporter is all about. Waiting and Hoping. Somewhere over the rainbow, just give it time.

I know his pedigree but I think bielsa is a massive risk we can't afford to take. He's not going to know how crap most of the players are. So will have to find out for himself which will take time. We need to shift the dead wood now and start shaping the squad. that with limited English which is massive, and no know how off the championship. Good manager, wrong time I think.

Thing is we unlikely to get a quick fix from any manager we bring in. Would rather Radz puts the money up and gets a proper manager on a decent long term contract than another wannabie on a one year rolling contract who will probably be gone for christmas. Bielsa is as good as any out there, am surprised he is considering the championship so must have been given assurances from Radz. Yes he is a wild card but one with a lot of experience and football knowledge.

From what I've been reading about Bub I think it's a little naïve to say he doesn't know anything abou our players, or the English leagues. He seems to know everything there is to know about football in general, no doubt after the initial approach he would have been getting to know all the nitty-gritty about Leeds, our players, the league set-up and everything else, including Orta, Radz etc. I don't think he's one to be underestimated.

Bige, Al, totally agree. Bielsa is no mug, and cannot be categorised along with any of our managers of recent times, and by that, I mean since George Graham! If his terms and conditions are not met, and as you say, he's given assurances, he just won't come in, end of story. As Leodis said in his earlier post, patience is going to be key from everyone!

Totally agree with Stafford, I doubt you get to be labelled one of the world without having a decent idea on the 4th/5th biggest league in the world and besides, what did Hockaday, darko, redfearn, evans I think McDermott and Warnock should have been given more time. wasn't a fan of either but they atleast could be called a proper manager

What’s your thoughts Whiteman matey. I agree with the posts from Brightwhite, Mezzer, Al and LUFCfev. This could be a defining moment in our history or it could go belly up but as George said, it will be a ride, a rollercoaster ride, but isn’t that what we’ve been on for years! Everybody on this site seem optimistic and IMO it’s the most excitement to a Pre season we have had for a long time! This man is known by the big boys just like the Wolves boss!

I’m definitely with you Brightwhite on this one, IMO it’s a statement and something Radz should of done months ago! Radz has dug deep and yes he is supposed to be a loose cannon but it’s like you said Brightwhite, are we all! . Whatever the outcome this guy won’t come cheap and he won’t suffer lazy and uncommitted players, which is just what we need. This could be the most defining moment in a long time!
