@Samo. Schmeichel, I forgot about him, doh. Always seem to choose And Wood, think we are a better team without him this season but could do with another 20 goal + striker though, one a bit more mobile and doesn't just fit in one type of system.

So what do people think the lassoga situation is, injured? . sulking? . words been said at half time when he was withdrawn against Brentford? . the club seem very tight lipped on it. I know he's not the hardest working forward we have ever seen that's for sure, although I would have liked to see him play a couple of games up too with ekuban

If he is sulking or had words wouldn't we have sent back rather than carry on paying wages?

Can we even do that if it's a season long loan?

Surely there would be a clause in their re attitude and effort? And even goal tally? I don't know?

Early Christmas present, a time machine in which you can put 3 former players and return them to their prime to add to current squad. I will have Nigel Martyn, Gary Mcallister and Tony Yeboah . Premier here we come!

Hi all. I have just been reflecting on when we think that finishing just outside allows building for next year's push and thinking back, overall many a team who finished just outside or even inside the playoffs and thn steuggled to be in top half the following year. Plenty if time yet, but Fulham finished the end of the season with a superb and successful challenge for a playoff spot, but don't appear to be starting where they left off. Close season can change anything for better or worse. Having observed him, I am quietly confident that Radz knows that and will have a plan come January. I still reckon playoffs are a realistic prospect.

Christmas list - no new GK, i think Wiedewald will do the job for the rest of the year, 1 clean sheet every 2 games on average is not bad. Stats flatter but i think he is a confidence player. LB - i love berardi but we don't have anybody overlapping hernandez. Hernandez comes back to do the dirty work and win the ball, but berardi rarely sees past the half way line unless its for a throw in. Amari bell, Jordan amavi, Andy robertson, Nicolo Barella, all possible and i think fairly likely, might have to research the last one. Experienced CM, i know RV and KP are awesome, but past that what do we have, okane isn't good enough to make the step, hence why when bournemouth went up he got sold. Charlie adam won't seem to go away although i think we will look abroad. Guardado is the best outcome here, played internationally over a hundred times, been at title winning teams, knows his stuff about a football pitch. Could maybe even see us go after someone from spain whos a bit older but could still do a job here, i'm not sure, but i think we need an anchorman who can work and distribute properly and let the young boys do the running, a cool head in the middle. Wedneaday have bannan, boro have howson, wolves have saiss, cardiff are using sol bamba for this, its needed. A left winger to compliment saiz, and so that we can use hernandez centrally again as he comes into the last 6 months of his deal. Rolando aarons an option, i like barrie mckay from forrest, he'd do well. Finally a striker, Dabbur from Salzburg is a must here, go and have a look at him, he's been linked before, i think we need to push this.

When Wiedewald has to stop goals he is hopeless, when he is not under much threat he gets clean sheets and distributes well.
