Adyran transfer being investigated by the FA. Possibly owned by a third party which is not permitted. What's the penalty if found quilty given that he played and had influence in 13 games. Points deduction maybe and where might that take us. Sorry to be pessimistic but it's a common disease amongst Leeds fans.

Apparently Flamengo own 100% of Adryans contract, however 30% of his commercial earnings, sponsorship etc are owned by 3rd party so no problem as long as LUFC have made no payments to this 3rd party.

Ahhh, so the Adryan transfer is being investigated by the FA.

I thought there was something fishy about this, as MC had this chap at his last club for 2 seasons and potentially he could be back with us next year.

Maybe MC has a financial incentive to get him a permanent contract. He has been touted out in Italy, with no success and now here, so far with no success.

That or he is his long lost son

Or maybe he is the son of Manuel {mad dog} Salvatore head of the Sao Paulo cartel and Cellino owes him a favour, ah intrigue and imagination

I am happy with the calibre of player being linked with us, whether it happens or not remains to be seen.

Goalkeeper
Left Back
Central Defender
Holding Midfielder
Winger who can operate either flank
Center forward
Nippy striker

Goalkeeper because Silvestri days look numbered. He is good enough at this level but there's better out there. Left back because C Taylor may play further up the pitch. Central defender to add to what we have. Holding because Austin can't do job there and Ngoyi has fitness issues. Don't think any explanation is required for the final 3 positions. Quality we need will cost us approx 8m. Not going to happen but you asked for the list.

Have to agree with George on this one. Holding midfielder and a wide player top priority.

Lets see what happens in a couple of weeks. Cellino is not stupid so let's see what he has learned this season. I think he will go for a manger, hopefully Warburton and give Redfearn choice of assistant or back to academy. He will still buy players from abroad as he sees them as investments but I think he will buy more experienced players and add some English players. Do not know where we are with ffp rules so he may have to get rid of a few to balance finances. He will push for promotion next season and end up banned again probably but with a more structured management team in place, this lot were amateurish. Will get bad headlines about Redders and anyone he has to sell but that will not worry him. However I think if fans are still chanting for him to go after christmas he will sell up. At the moment I think his talks with the far east is to gain investment not sell but all that could change and we could have Pong, Yong and Song in midfield and be eating noodles and water chestnuts at half time

Bige, it's not a question of Cellino brains, it is more his ability per the FL. He is not going to be off the hook so I see him selling.

He could do but he is the type of guy who will not be too bothered about spending his days in the miami sunshine if his family still own club. I know its not ideal but if he has the right people in place once signings are made and manager in place for next season its just the odd phone call. There will be only so many we can sign so its about quality and picking the right team.

Lots nots said below true but so much wrong about reddders. Team selection. Subs. Tactics all wrong
That's what coaches are paid for and he can't do any of em

He can share with mc

Obsessed with subs. If we had games changing players on the bench who could come on after 60 odd minutes, he would bring them on. How are his tactics wrong then? What would you do different? And as for team selection, its a matter of opinion, not fact. People forget he brought Taylor and the amazing Cook into the side and they are long term players. Murphy and Austin look rejuvenated and he has installed a confidence into Mowatt that he had never showed before. And those who say Montengro should of played more, maybe they're right, but he is hardly prolific for the development squad (10 goals I believe).
I am not saying Redfern is definitely the right man, but all this crap about team selection, tactics and subs gets on my bloody nerves. The mess he was left with after the 1st two coaches, he done well to get the team going again and give us a base for next season. One last point. I don't remember OLeary making too many subs when he was boss, even when we were losing. But because we were flying high nobody said jack. Justa point. MOT.

Montenegro scored 14 goals. And subs bench was a joke. One week had Sloth on not used, Then Sloth dropped and Fabro on bench never used. You pick the bench with a plan of how you intend to use it to change the game or formation. We used the same subs at the same time in the game for no reason at all. Some games defence was dodgy and some in midfield looked lethargic with a lack of ideas were they changed, no. When you give a guy who has only played 40 min for reserves, white, more game time than a guy who just hit a hat trick, monty, then I think there's some bias there somewhere

Cork. Oleary use of bench was good. Del fabro, montenegro and sloth were woefully underused.

Sloth never deserved a place in the side. Not once did he try to take the game by the scruff of the neck and influence play when he started or came on as sub. As for Del fabro, well CBs are rarely bought on as a sub except for injury. And Montengro most likely not fancied by NR, who watches him everyday in training.
Georgey boy. OLeary was never one for making many subs. Never hooked a midfielder hardly and would maybe bring on a striker for last 15 mins. At least that's my recollection. Kewell, Bowyer, Dacourt and Batty or Bakke were very rarely subbed.
