Going to the West Brom game with friends and will be in the West Brom end, last time I was at an away match was Norwich also in with the home fans, hoping for a similar result!

Brave and potentially a touch foolish. Their fans are unpleasant.

I was in with Wigan fans on Sunday and they were ok. Not sure if I would want to be in with WBA fans though! I think a point would be good on Saturday but a win would be brilliant! Always good to go in to an International break on a positive result.

Looking forward to seeing Roofe do the business against the club he started at, he was there from the age of 6 until 22 and never got to make his first team debut. I am sure he will be out to prove a point to WBA.

I was thinking the same Mezz. I’ve got a feeling we’re going to tonk them 0-3. Roofe a couple and Hernandez the other. And I’m actually sober!

No idea which one you were but hats off to you and all the others who have put this together. A story worth telling. Its stands for ALL the footballers and all there comrades who so tragically gave there lives. I am sure there is even a German story that would mirror this. What a waste of young life.

thanks. It is an amazing story and we have had the families of the fallen soilders, active servicemen and chelsea pensioner all say how good the play is and what it means to them which is a real honour

and I am the good looking one standing far right behind the ginger bloke with a Kp tattoo on my bum.

Fantastic achievement Berm, hope it goes really well for you and everyone connected with the play. Hopefully it will help educate this and future generations to the unbelievable level of sacrifice which enables all of us to have our opinions whatever they may be.

Having spent some time in Arras this October and visiting many war memorials (including the site of THE game of football) I think it should be compulsory in the school curriculum (is in France! ) to visit these sites and be made to at least understand what real hear wrenching sacrifices these young men of all Nationalities made that we might live in such Freedom today.

Good to put a face and a voice to the name Bermo.
I’m a West Londoner and I really hope all goes great with the play as it’s an amazing story. Well done mate.

Been to see the play last year, me and mrs DJ thoroughly enjoyed the play it has everything you'd want in a play pathos, Laughter, drama, grit and plenty of Banter. Michael is a talented Writer who really engages the audience with his writing! if you are in London this month i'd highly recommend This fabulous piece of theatre, we will go see it again hopefully a week Saturday. Michael always loves it when leeds fans are in the audience and hell always have a drink with you in the bar afterwards where you will find him to be a Charming and funny guy, and if you ask him nicely hell even show you his new tattoo etched on his posteria 🤣😎.

thanks all really touched by your comments, it is such an amazing story and the feedback has been amazing, the reviews have been great but the feedback from servicemen, chelsea pensioners and the families of the fallen has been amazing and that is such an honour.

Aus I am going in the hair cut for my next play its a musical called I'm just nuts about KP

I know I can be a bit of a D@@k on here but I do mean well so thanks for the support.

Looking forward to seeing you alf and Dj always great to see a leeds shirt in the audience MOT.

{Ed001's Note - I really want to see this Berm, you should get in touch with people like Dubai Opera - they do subsidise a lot of things to get stuff there mate and they love footie here. Then I could go see it.}

07 Nov 2018 13:51:52
thanks Ed I will pass that on, we are planning a tour of the big football citys (and blackpool as i love it there) but I guess to add Dubai wouldn't be the worse thing in the world, I mean it is no blackpool but i have heard its a nice place!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - well who can compete with the lure of Blackpool and the, erm, something it has.}

I’m not sure how anybody can willingly visit Blackpool. Kidnaped and forced maybe.
What’s up with you BW? What’s wrong with bournouth. Newport. Tintagel. And the beauties of the south? Have some pride man!

been so busy at work just seen the wigan game

thought we were good, roofe really looks class and pablo on a different level, Douglas also amazing for me. Even Impressed with KP although as said before I like him against lesser teams.

still not getting too carried away, wigan on poor form and without four of their best attackers, West brom be far more of a challenge but no reason to think we can't give anyone a run for thier money at this point! MOT.

Agree with what you are saying about Wigan Bermo but sooner or later we have to stand up and take stock. It's all well saying that the last team; yes we beat them/ drew but they were poor. Maybe, as you say West Brom are the yardstick.

06 Nov 2018 16:36:26
I agree mate and I am slowly beggining to believe we can do no better than be top so well done to the team. I do worry slightly against teams like brom (and forest who i was gutted we couldn't beat) but at the moment no team is doing better than us.

06 Nov 2018 18:40:56
We're top of the league berm so there all lesser teams.

very true Martyn and we have had injuries, annoyingly I am starting to believe which I hate as then the dissapointment kills me

it is a joke that every year I say leeds are going up this year I have said no way are we going up so maybe the Bermondsey bock has been lifted?

After the international break, we are the only team in the top 6 (currently) with back to back home games.

They're all scheduled for two away trips. A great chance for us to make a statement, especially with Bristol and Reading at home!

Think Saiz is earmarked for special attention by the opposition. He is having to come to terms with this. He needs to adapt his game where he works for the team and when gets an opportunity, add his bit of class to the attack. At the moment he is frustrated and trying too hard, wanting to be involved in every move . This is where playing with Hernandez takes some of the pressure off him. He has the ability and class just needs to adapt a little and try and play on the break/ counter attack.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

06 Nov 2018 13:05:11
Agree with that Leeds, he is hacked to bits and guarded whenever he plays, even in the under 23s yesterday. You could argue, go with that and let the others play in the space created by him as decoy, but it’s not a very satisfactory role. Bielsa needs to work with him so we find a wAy of utilizing him to the teams advantage.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Nov 2018 16:09:57
I agree Spanish he could be a key difference; sucking their players into him then playing balls into the spaces vacated. Just needs to keep his head and pay them back with craft and skill.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Nov 2018 23:01:59
All good players get hacked and get frustrated. They brush themselves off and try harder.
Maybe selling him was a bit harsh but he needs to try harder and get his mindset right.

My predicted target of 7 points from the last 3 games was achieved and we are top. Moving on to the next three games think six points will see us stay in top two or three. Expect our home games to give us those points so for me W, Brom is a bonus game. If we can take something from that we will stay top me thinks. I think we are good enough to win it if everyone firing, but Brom are good so say 1-1, KP to score, KP MOM, KP to end up in goal and save a penalty. Onwards and upwards. Seriously don't care who scores as long as they all play their game.

I had a look at WBA stats last night. Highest scorers in the division, but they let a hell of a lot in too. Hopefully should make for an entertaining one. 3-2 to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Nov 2018 11:22:28
If West Brom recent form is anythingto go by I’m hoping for at least a point.
Of course everybody tries 10% harder against us so we will have to wait and see.
Brother in law back in the old country is Brom so would really like a good hearty thrashing.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Nov 2018 11:43:48
It’s mystic BIGE, aka KP’ agent! 🤣. Seriously tho, spot on with what you say and your predictions. I reckon a point from Brum would be a great point. And re Kal, at this early stage, he’s in the running for player of the year IMO. Obvs too early for me to predict that one tho! (Plus Pablo and Klich) .

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Nov 2018 13:15:12
I think we will beat West Brom
They are poor in defence and a manager who just buys or plays good players but without too much tactical know how. Bielsa will have done his homework on this one.
Time to open up a gap as we keep saying. Promotion is there for the taking.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its a bit premature to be talking about promotion yebo, lets just see how things pan out because you can never tell what happens with injuries suspensions etc, so just sit back and enjoy the ride mate..

06 Nov 2018 13:28:05
Clearly that should say Brom and my phone changed it! Doh!
