Haven't thought hard about it but who is the best Leeds United player never to get an international cap?
For me Rod Wallace. Well I don't think he got one. Any thoughts lads?

Chris Whyte and Chris Fairclough but like Rod Wallace think they had U21 caps.

So Andy Hughes, fight and enthusiasm was infectious. Only sorry he's a Huddersfield Coach now, but loved him as a player 👍.

easy easy one sir john lukic best keeper in the country from 88-92 only keeper to win two league championships for different clubs and that don't happen by mistake, he was our only ever present from 90-92 and was great, also mixed with how crap our keepers were then shilton was great but was well passed it (as his league form of that time showed) and woods was really pony, i don't think i ever see him make a save, champman also deserved a shot and maybe chris fairclough he was very good.

Great shout corkwhite I saw him in in later days when boston played Carlisle he totally destroyed us his movement was unbelievable even then he was sheer class.

All good shouts but I particularly liked Fairclough.
CB with the lot. Pace power and strong in the air for a not too big geezer. He was great for Leeds .
I'll add one more even though if I'm honest maybe wasn't good enough. Micky Adams. Loved his game and attitude.

Bridges was awesome player. Great first touch and could score from anywhere. Big bloke too. Played up to recent in aus. Now football pundit. Knows his stuff.

I have said for a while that playing Bridcutt and Vierra only gives us the illusion of being stronger defensively although it does to a degree. With lesser teams we defend well, don't concede, and then score (Wood usually) with the few chances we create. With the better teams the pressure of constantly winning the ball and then giving it away can wear us down eventually eg Barnsley and Huddersfield. Even against Derby where we played very up to a point we created very few clear chances. We are a much better team now than we were six months ago but we now (probably in Summer) need to move up a gear. A play maker next to Bridcutt (or VIerra if he can improve his passing) Pacy wide men who can get up and down the pitch would be a very good start. Hopefully we can then see how good, all round Wood is (He is scoring but is general play is not great) We might the see the best of Hernandez who can go missing when we are in games where we are not having it all our own way. This is not a negative post as I think we have made massive strides this season but it is a reflection on what we need to do to get better. At this point I think we will make the play offs and hopefully get promotion next season. This year would be nice but I don't think so unless the two new signings make a big difference. The probability of losing Jannson and Barkley through suspension won't help either.

Agreed Hess, we lost the midfield battle against Town like we did against Brighton and Newcastle. We need to find a midfield player who takes control of the game and someone who can add to our goal tally for next season.

Personally I'd start Viera and OKane in CM.
Nothing against Bridgett just these two would offer a better balance . Not sure exactly why just a feeling.
