Byram should play IMO, he's done nothing wrong, Cellino obviously told Evans to keep him out of starting eleven for refusing to sign a lesser contract. Bemusing to think a player who some prem teams are considering paying £8 million for can't get a full game ahead of a poor CB playing RB.!
Getting 10 million for McCormack was good business, but I was disappointed when he was sold, his goals kept us in the championship in his last season as a Leeds player.
Agree with comments about MC, at the present he's putting in the funds when no one else seems to want to. I still think he's nutty as a fruit cake though!
Here's hoping we can build on great win against Hull, onwards LUFC.

I wouldn't get too excited. Sam might be worth £8m if he was in a long term contract, but if he only has 6 months left on his contract, we may be fortunate to get £1m for him. A club will probably offer him a contract from the summer, ask him to sit tight and collect £12k a week, they get him for free and he gets a better pay packet! That's what most would do.

Dont think anyone is glad he is going but 12 grand a week is most club is paying. Rest on less than that so he thinks he's worth more so needs to move. I think if we were in top six now he would be signing. We are not so good luck to the lad. All championship sides end up losing their best players once premier league interested, that's how it is. Its not just us.

Pre cellino gfh had no money bates took any money club had crowd before bates sold everything we had before that ridsdale put us in debt for over 100 million and you think cellino is bad enough for you to stop following Leeds I say love or hate him cellino is best thing happened to us in a decade or more players coming in club stable be careful what you wish for.

Wexleeds - every squad in the division is different from 3 years ago. 3 million for Wood he's hot and cold and was Smith so bad. Still not replacement for £10 million McCormack. Bamba 1 million and no sell on - Tom Lees still looks good to me. Wingers well we never had any. So in and outs though how much has actually been invested and are we any better really or just slightly different.
So have we actually got a bob to spend or are we just shuffling numbers and hoping for a better outcome.
Also there no consistent pattern or system to our play with the merry go round of coaches.

Berardi is a better player full back than Sam. If it's £8m then it's a good deal and hopefully will be re-invested. The only down side is Sam could be loaned straight back to a championship team depending on where he goes.

£8 million according to the Daily Mirror. Remember this is the paper that had the full squad up for sale and Cellino giving the half time team talk and ordering changes to tactics. If MM is right (based on this season's appearances) not many would argue that Beradi is playing better and deserves his place in the team. Then would someone pay that amount of money on a player who cannot get into a bottom half championship side.

Until we sign someone better I believe Belusci should always be one of the two centre H. When he doesn't play we nearly always concede two or more goals. Apart from Middlesborough, which was a one off, when Belusci plays it's usually a clean sheet or just one. Against Rotherham and QPR, if the forwards could have scored (or Midfield), it would have not been as bad, even if we played badly. Bamba and Cooper together is an accident waiting to happen.

ONELEEDS. No, Hull wasn't a clean sheet. We conceded one. As I said with Belusci playing its a clean sheet or just one. If you look back to the point he returned and in previous periods when he has played its usually just 0 or 1. Look at when Bamba and Cooper play together - they've done well if the only concede 2.

I don't think our problem has been defence. Ok it could do with cover, but we don't concede too many. Our problem has been creating chances and scoring. Taylor and Beradi are settled at full backs. Cooper for me is getting better and better with playing time.

The point being when Belusci plays we only have to score one to usually get at least a point. I can't understand why every time we get beaten people, especially Noel Whelan, say its Belusci's fault. After the QPR game he was criticising Belusci for having his head in the clouds and missing a few passes. Not much about Wood and co. for only making one chance and missing that one. When we are beaten with Belusci playing its usually because we haven't scored. When Cooper and Bamba play we get beaten because we haven't scored two or three!
