Not surprised we won today wind assisted. There's been a lot of wind coming out of the boardroom at ER recently!

just got back! my god what a day performance was ok second half much better with the wind but three points is three points!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Im not defending BmD or Leeds but it wasnt a day for pretty football, if supporters are honest they WILL agree. The wind was horendous, P-kenny kicked a ball out of his hands and reached about 30yds lol.
We should have won 5-3 with the CLEAR chances that were created. Rosco should have had a hat-trick, the goal he scored was the hardest chance he had.

This league is mental - 2 defeats in a row = facing relegation, 2 wins in a row = in the playoffs; currently 5 points off 6th, with a game in hand, and 18 points clear of dropzone.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Same as last year mate, the teams that can string a longish unbeaten run tend to be there or there abouts, I know that sounds obvious but what I mean is winning 4 or 5 on the spin can turn it right round because its so tight, personally I think this league is one of the most entertaining in Europe for crazy results and the tightness of it all. Just look at reading they win 7-0 one week then lose at Ipswich next then win 5-0 after that then lose again against Wednesday, u just simply can't predict it. A few decent loan signings and I think we will be right up there. Just hope the Italian stallion is true to his word

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at the teams we still have to play: Brighton, Midds, Wigan, Derby, Reading, Forest. Those games are massive if we want to make the play offs.

When the italian gets the nod will he sack BM. I hope mot got a lot of respect for that guy he stood tall last week against all thst was thrown at him .please godfather don't let Brian sleep with the fishes

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't think he will. I think he realised last week was a mistake. Further I think this is one of the reasons Haighs and Noorudin are in positions they are. JD

Does anyone no how much cellino and his family are worth,, there's no info on this

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Around 1.3 Billion}

Him alone is £800 million the family £1.3 billion

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 15:36:53
Now that Varney has gone out on loan, let's get in Wickham or Wood in to replace him. We could do with a third option up top with Ross and Smith.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With Cellio worth in excess of 1 billion ish I would like to think we are looking at better than Wickham and co. Come on have some imagination and ambition

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 19:44:00
Hate replies like that don't just quash suggested players and hide behind the anonymity of could get better. Give us the names of the better players you think we could get?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wickham and Wood would be a step in the right direction. let's take things slow :)

Agree0 Disagree0

They are both "REJECTS"

Agree0 Disagree0

Wickham destroyed us this season. and woods destroyed us last season

I personally wouldn't take woods as he's not been played and is obv not match fit

Agree0 Disagree0

I dare to dream big my fellow supporters and if our new owner has the same ambition as myself we should be looking at Pablo Hernandez, Ricky Lambert, Daniele Baselli, Matteo Bianchetti. (hardly hiding in my opinions) The guy is worth 800million start thinking big guys stop with the half decent championship players. Any of those 4 would be a statement of intent!

Agree0 Disagree0

OP here, I think they're both that clinical finisher that we require. Yesterday we could have finished it off a lot earlier, as opposed to hanging on at the end and we just need someone who could slot in another 10 goals, along with M&S.

I saw crap team
Mostly Crap players
Crap tactics
Just as well he has. Loads of money!
Seriously-we need it
Looked like most of team sort of wanted to play but most def cant!
New owner will be well impressed
Mcd? Stop being a saint and show us some astuteness

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wouldn't judge too much by today's performance. Listening to reports around country in Championship and Premiership on radio. They are all being effected by the wind and players struggling to deal with!

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw wind, horrendous rain and conditions I wouldn't take my dogs out in. Get a grip. Who would try to make any judgement on a game in those conditions? Some people use any excuse to whine. The bottom line is we dug in and got 3 points away from home.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on 3rd post!

Agree0 Disagree0

Unbelievable post! Conditions appalling, really hard fought win, everybody battled and tactics can't be questioned, half time change spot on!
Better finishing and it could and probably should have been more comfortable!

Agree0 Disagree0

We got a good win in tough conditions and people are moaning! Just look at the results today, shows just how imperative that win was.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with all the responses to the original post, what a moaner from the first post! they were terrible conditions today, even when the ball was played on the ground the wind was blowing it all over the place, another 3 points keeping our playoff hopes alive.

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldnt agree more with everyones replies to this post. Look we aren't brilliant we all know that but to diss our team based on todays unbelievably poor conditions is pathetic. Get a grip

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw us playing bottom of the league and look third best behind the wind and Yeovil!

Agree0 Disagree0

We strung more than two passes together no more than twice . so yh good performance .

Agree0 Disagree0

All the time moaning 3 points in those conditions is all that counts, did you see the keepers kick for roscoe goal some times tactics just don't come. Into it, now let's get behind the team and mot to the prem . kevlufc

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a big critic when we play poorly but even I thought we were always in the game given terrible conditions.
At the end of the day it was going to be whoever scored the most goals kicking the one way. That was us and 3 points move on . Shrew leeds

Ok now the deed is nearly done then let's follow your money.
There is really only one question.
Leeds United has survived as a club these last 6 years by selling players willy nilly.
So where did the money go?
From the figs I have been privileged to see over 30% from player sales and purchases plus 100% from player loans has gone down the swanny to agents fees.
I for one would like to see an investigation by the football league and the revenue and customs into who received every penny and what happened to every penny after that.
It's a must and I don't care about all the other clubs in the world.
I'm sick of to death of all the smoke and mirrors and we should demand to know exactly what has been going on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

ED. Can you set up a petition so we can send to football league and HMRC to investigate goings on at ER.
Surely football league have a duty to ensue the club is being run in a fit and proper way

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - I think it would be very difficult to do, I suggest we see how the new ownership works out. You never know this time next season things could be good at Leeds again}

Hi Ed

I think survivor is raising a very good point, as you say Ed, things may well see good times return to Leeds this time next year but it's possible some person or persons have questionably benefited from money which has gone 'astray' from our club. This should be looked into.
Why not set up a petition, or does anyone else know what could be done to get the FL to look into the matter.

Hey Survivor, apologies for not taking you seriously at first, your posts are very welcome, cheers.

Thanks for your efforts too Ed.

Bring back the good times and let's all hail Don cellini

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes hear hear GFH/BATES where has all the money gone? Not on quality players we have sold most of our quality players over the last few years how come were in debt again when smaller clubs aren't? Something doesn't add up?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2014 10:32:46
Just so you all know I'm relying on nobody for this but in a few months time there is an MP from Leeds who will be raising the subject in Parliament.
Problem is at that point others will jump in and it will become a general question.

Good result today In difficult conditions, good to see Kebe been influential. On another note does anyone know much about that Mcallister for Yeovil he looked a good player some threatening balls in.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good result
Crap team
Kebe pearce warnock er sort of mcc
But splashed out $60 on sentana for that load of rubbish, god I know soccer players are notoriously dense but if yeovil could fathom wind against ball physics. We would have lost!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know much but I do know he's 35 OR 36! His deliveries were excellent today tbf but just not an ideal age for a full back to be bombing up and Down really lol

I appreciate the conditions are difficult but with Warnock hoofing it every time we get it it's near impossible. Poor composure. Here's to a good second half.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Warnock just hoofed it in to the net

Agree0 Disagree0

A win is a win even if down to luck, helps league position. poor team performance doesn't help brian's position.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet you feel a bit silly now

We looked dreadful again. Roll on summer and Cellino. what's the obsession with BM? Kebe, Hunt, Murphy and a performance like that . Need better if were to beat the likes of Derby, Forest and Burnley in playoffs

Come on Brian.
Please give us a result today.
Five more straight wins and we will be back in the top six.
Take up Massimo's offer to you and you will be The Man who did the fans and players proud.
You have shown your loyalty and many will say you were bonkers.
We the fans must fill the ground but you must deliver on the park.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No pressure there then, just 5 straight wins lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor 1st half hoof ball again guess brian
has his reasons, hope we score 2nd half

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant believe nbody wants to know what Massio offred Brian McD

Agree0 Disagree0

You mentioned Massimo offer to brian?
Come on survivor your in the know. what offer

Survivor knows because he's BMD. Sure I saw him posting on the touchline! Looked iffy today but 3 points always makes my acca losses irrelevant MOT

I said about Greeny going to Ipswich first 39 people disliked that " rumour " more fool you! And one guy even had a little joke about him getting in there bus after the game against them and getting dropped off at century rd for his car.
My source for that "rumour" from straight from the horses mouth and like I said I was in the gym with the lad!

99% of my fact & rumours are correct because I and my friend both work down at ER and Thorpe arch

Hey haven't posted on here in a while, I have Italian family who live in the north, they said Cellino is very honest and will stick to his word. Still holds a minor stake in Caglari and will strive to be the best.

They also said they were a minnow club and have now become a mid table decent side. Looks for young talent and promotes youth as much as he can.

Hopefully does same with us

It seems that we are split as fans on Massimo I for one am pleased. I am sick to death of being a selling club. Howson, Snodgrass, Becchio, Delphi to name a few. This will probably be the first time in nearly 20 years that we will have an owner that can say no, an owner that could afford a player to run down a contract without worrying about the balance sheet
As good as it would be to have a consortium with leeds fans buying us nothing would have changed they still lacked the backing to take us back to where we belong.
Ask Chelsea or Man City fans how it feels!
Hopefully happy days are back at ER

Just a quick question, if anybody knows the answer, owning 75% and having 25% owned by different parties, if sa Massimo put 75 mill into Leeds does this mean they'd have to stump up 25 mill?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont believe so, when it comes to investment its not uniform, and if Survivor is right Cellino will buy out the rest when we get to the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

Survivor is McDermott

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Thats a good conspiracy}

My guess is David Haigh, he's still there?

Agree0 Disagree0

BMD is a survivor that's for sure. Doubt it, Survivor said he broke his back in the Stansted air crash, I believe was a Korean cargo plane in December 1999

Agree0 Disagree0

Just looked that up, tv news reported plane crashed shortly after take off killing all 4 crew members no passengers on board?

Agree0 Disagree0

And no one on the ground hurt, wrote standstead rather than stansted too. Was thinking maybe a later date/different crash.

Agree0 Disagree0

All this survivor guy has done is post up things that have been reported elsewhere beforehand or gave vague statements with no real credence behind them yet everyone is reverring him as the 2nd coming of christ with his in the know knowledge.

For the record - nobody survived the korean air crash at stanstead, 4 korean airman sadly lost their lives that day.

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

I assumed he meant the plane that crashed with O'Leary and his team on board. That was at Stanstead.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fully agree with Crmd. Survivor has posted a lot of garbage on this site but one day he's bound to get something right. woopee doo. He posted something we all knew was happening some day soon. Hardly a scoop!
He knows nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

There was only cuts and bruises in that crash. O'Leary doing his shoulder a bit of damage was the worst injury so no broken backs there.

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong
Both the stewardess and myself sustained back injuries but being persons we asked for them not to be reported.
I sat at the back with Keith Hanvey so ask him as he is still at ER
