Seems like we transferring more players out and not many in comings. Starting to get a little nervous and think it will be a huge mistake not to improve team with 2-3 additions. The rewards are vast if promoted and this is our chance with a great manager and still top. Didn't they get around 22 mil for wood/ vieira and only brought in Bamford and Doug for 10? Didn't we also get 10 mil from USA backers?
I would be very happy with Frazier Forster, need an experienced keeper and he would give defense confidence.
Should also try get floriente from spurs, I feel we need a striker as Bamford seems injury prone and roofe needs competition.
Then either or both of pacey winger (Maddison) and that saiz type of linking player to pull the strings, jonjo shelvy is the type I mean, sees those little passes that hurt teams.
MB says he only wants players to improve team, think these would and be nailed on for premiership footy. Sorry but baker, Harrison, BPF and alioski not good enough. Spend 20 mil now and reap the rewards, if not I can see us getting caught and in playoffs which is tough.
If we don't invest and don't get promoted, can see next season without Biesla, Pontus, roofe, Klich and Clarke.

Get Milner in now rather than at end of season.
Highly experienced. Plays the type of game we do, fit as a butchers dogs and versatile too.
I'd also take Forster Shadwell.

Really fed up with all these so called sites linking us with everyone. Was we really after van la parra or one of two others who have gone on to other championship teams? My guess no, but if yes, why couldn't the championships top team get them. I know Bielsa has come out and said no not yet or similar when asked about possibility of getting new players. Wish the club would come out and let us know if we do or don't want to bring new players in, they don't have to say who, sure would be nice.

Absolutely no chance off getting Milner in. Not now. And probably not in the summer. Liverpool going for the title. He was captain last night and Liverpool would let him leave. Don’t think so. just my opinion. 😂👍⚽️.

A lot of work obviously going on re the playing staff, easier to sort out players going from us. Can’t force players to come to us at the right price. Still a lot of time left before the end of the window and some premiership decisions with knock on effects, won’t happen until late in the window. But some realism required, Liverpool have a real chance of winning the Premiership, are they really going to be prepared to let Milner go before then and is he really going to want to go?

Milner said he’d like to play for us again if we get promoted.
Don’t think he is dropping down a league anytime in the next 3-5 years.

Milner to join us in the summer when his contract runs out and after he’s lifted the premiership and annoyed Salford.

I think its called click bait Mezzer. I'm sure that one of the Ed's did a great article on the subject fairly recently. Or I may have read it elsewhere. Ed's - was it one of yours or am i imagining things again?

I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, 'Happy Birthday, ' and possibly have a small present for me.

As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone 'Happy Birthday. ’

I thought …. well, that's marriage for you, but the kids . they will remember.

My kids came bouncing down stairs to breakfast and didn't say a word.
So when I left for work I felt pretty low and somewhat dejected.

As I walked into my office, my hot boss, sam, said, 'Good morning, and by the way Happy Birthday! ' It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock, when sam knocked on my door and said, 'It's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch, just you and me. '

I said, 'Thanks, sam, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go! '

We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. She chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had two red wines each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, sam said, 'It's such a beautiful day … we don't need to go straight back to work, do we? '

I responded, 'I guess not. What do you have in mind? '

She said, 'Let's drop by my place, it's just around the corner.

After arriving at her house, sam turned to me and said, 'If you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I'll be right back. '

'Ok. ' I nervously replied.

She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake, followed by my wife, my kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing 'Happy Birthday. '

And I just sat there .
