If you look at it the way i do that Aser holdings own the club, not Radz then all the talk becomes clearer. They all work to make the club better financially. The best scenario would be Premier league but being an investment company they will want to do that as cheaply as possible. They will want to balance incomings with outgoings hence only one signing so far. They will have to show a profit for investors before spending on players which leads to dragging out negotiations to save as many pennies as possible. Not against them being cautious with the spending but longer a deal takes to get over the line more chance it has of going belly up. So even though we are supposed to be in negotiations with players i will not get excited till they are part of the club.

It's a good post Bige and common sense basically but concerns I have over the strategy's implementation. If economics that important, dithering over Vydra whose 4 year cost is £14.5m whereas seemingly withdrawing from paying Abel's costs which over 4 years is £6.5m less doesn't make sense. Don't get me wrong. Vydra is class and I want him at Leeds but we already have Saiz in number 10 role. Abel is an out and out striker and just what we need. Not securing him when the money is there is an act of lunacy. Seems we're falling between two stools not wanting to make our minds up on targets and the money we have to afford them. Just get Abel in and worry about the next acquisition another day. I'd be happy with Abel, Wilson and 2 central defenders if this means we forget £14.5m Vydra.

Thats was my thinking george. Why waste time with Vydra, which seems to have fell through now anyway. Abel available offer him 45thou a week still value for money with a sell on. Supposedly offered Vydra 30thou a week. Makes you wonder if they were ever realistic targets or just put out there for the fans. Think we have a chance with Hugli on loan lol. Decent player but not impressed his new club has he.

I've just been for a run which took me 1hr 42mins and 15secs. Or to put it another way 102mins and 15secs. If you divide the mind by 2 you get 51, then add the secs you get 66. And what happened in 1966? Coincidence? I think not. ITS COMING HOME. ⚽️➡️🏠

I'm defo getting the feeling a lot of fans are getting concerned with lack of transfer activity . It seems the same old same old yet again with Leeds. We literally are bare bones at the back and up front at moment . depending on the formation we are going to need a couple of wingers couple of forwards at least a centre back and a keeper . and that's just us being able to put a squad out on match day 1

Every time Kinnear opens his mouth faith in this regime sinks even lower we obviously ain't got the money for big money buys hence Bielsa having to work with what we've got only expect loan moves coming in now gone from great expectations to bleak house overnight can see Bielsa walking sooner rather than later Radz and co are slowly shafting us

So guys, we are at the end of another week and ready to start the next. Another week nearer to the start of the league season. My questions are do you think we will sign quality players in the areas we need to strengthen? Who truly believes the 20 million transfer kitty? I ask as I am genuinely confused by all the rumours/talk. Is it that we really have good players who just had a bad season and we just were badly led? Why aren't we buying the so called targets that we wanted and why now are we very interested more on loan players?

Loan players tells you there’s a lack of funds or everyone is asking way too much for the players we have enquirer about, Wilson from Liverpool and Hugill from West Ham would be decent loan signings as we know they can play in the championship.
