So my Mateys! Another season over so? Let's have your realistic names for coaches job and whether Cellino has learnt his lesson on who he brings in?

Vinnie Jones.

Thorsten fink did wonderful things at Basel and out of work following 5 or 6 bad results with Hamburg.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 22:21:59
Cellino and realistic don't really go together unfortunately. I just hope he finally realises that the coach is as important as the players in the sense that he needs to pay for quality. He will be a coach and he will almost certainly be non english. A lot of people say that he needs to have experience of the english game but Pocchetino and Flores have coped quite well without that. Foreign coaches can work and I hope to god the next one does. I wouldn't be surprised to see Carbone, Di Canio, or Zola. Paul Clement maybe.

08 May 2016 22:38:42
Sorry peterboro just googled fink he's actually working.

Davide Ballardini of Palermo . A mate of Massimo apparently and doing rubbish in Italy, so perfect!
Or what about our friend festa, remember him. doing crap in seria b, even better!

Agree1 Disagree0

09 May 2016 01:41:00
Gus Poyet - for 6 reasons 1. Would get fans back on side after the rubbish treatment of Steve Evans 2. Would understand the size of the role offered, 3. Foreign 4. Knows English Leagues 5. Seems to have some tactical nous (in either winning or losing situations) and 6. Could result in a season ticket bump if announced the right way.

All in all seems far too reasonable a choice to even be considered by ol' Mas.

Hugo Agogo the character from Batfink

Cellooney tune shall bring him to life and install him as coach.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2016 05:16:44
DownUnder
Reason no 4 is why Poyet won't get the job. Since his playing days with bates first love he's been here a quarter of a century. That makes him practically british. Cellooney will only appoint a foreigner with little knowledge about the English championship. Poyet is therefore disqualified and then some under that criteria.

most leeds fans seem to be taken by a fat manager. how about Brolin?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 17:42:31
Bamba strutting his stuff again. I know he may be right but not his fole to go public with his opinion. His job to reassure young players and pull team together. If it was my choice he would be first one out of door.

In the ordinary course of events you are right but when you see insanity and ridiculousness combined hard to bite one's tongue. Bamba told it like it is and every Leeds supporter except bermo and wex agree with him.

Sorry george he is out for himself. Its up to cook and taylor to voice their concerns not him. Why would they be worried about their contracts. Obviously they will be renewed unless they want to leave for a bigger club. All he his doing is giving more ammo to the press to get himself noticed. Any other club would deal with him so should we. Team player, no. Not the kind of guy we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2016 08:17:55
Just read his EP article. that's a man who has played crap all season shifting the blame. Fact is defence have been abysmal aii season. He is one of the reasons we are mid table team. Lots of clubs change managers.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2016 10:23:27
well it is unlike George to come up with a wild inccaurate statment full of little fact (and he reckons he works in law, must get sued a lot)

for a start BIge the orginal post agress with me and wex (or as I like to call him new speedy) also I recokon there might just be somewhere one other leeds fan who might share our views. although I can not be sure.

Anyone know why bellushi wasn't on the bench instead of wooden on sat?
I know some of us don't rate him but take him over wonton any day.
Heading for the door with micro perhaps?

He's thrown a wobbly lately training ground bust ups.

says it all about the man and his attitude, i'd rather wooten on attitude and the fact he tries.

Agree2 Disagree1

08 May 2016 18:54:27
Bamba is awful. If I was left out of the team for Bamba I would be fuming and I haven't worn my boots in anger for years. SE just goes along with the fans and local media. No bottle. Belusci in the team before Bamba any day of the week. No clean sheets and more mistakes since he has been left out. Still need better though.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 20:19:40
Official version he was ill.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 May 2016 20:25:41
At least Bamba is a proper team player. Not once did he throw the toys out of the pram when not playing. i'd take him any day over Bellusci the effing cry, mistaken ridden geezer that he is, baby. He thinks he's Zico with his wayward passes and he can't head a ball more than 3 yards. Not to mention that he's an accident waiting to happen with his indiscipline and petulance. So Hess I believe you are totally wrong as stats don't always tell the whole story regards goals conceded as its a team game. Personally i'd even take Wooten over Bellusci!

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2016 20:47:46
Wasn't he suffering a fever?

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2016 21:00:41
Bamba played better when he was on loan with us, once the contract was in the bag he seems to have become the player he perhaps always was, indifferent and extremely error prone.
Think of the cb;s we have had that we thought were no good, Alex Bruce, ( promoted with Hull, Tom Lees, Play offs with wed. Apparently not good enough for us? we are going backwards it would seem,
We need big changes massimo.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2016 21:14:01
You are right Hess we need better than Bamba and belusci, 2 no nonsense defenders are needed that don't make the costly errors of these 2, belusci is too arrogant and the bad apple of the dressing room, Bamba has too much to say and can't back it up, I'd keep Cooper who has some potential as backup.

Cellooney doesn't like british coaches. Why bother to mention?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 17:47:50
not sure about lambert his has a style which can work but also is easy to suss out and costs points, I think better options out there IMO.

08 May 2016 20:31:19
Id take Lambert in a heartbeat. Proper manager.
And George isn't Evans British. Also Hockaday, McDermott, Redfern, Rosler? OK maybe not the last geezer but you know what I mean.

Bermo
I wanted Cellooney to give Evans an answer. Not tell one of his players the method of his communication to one of his players.

As for those 2 Muppet characters I personally thought they were marvellous.

Does Mrs Bermo know about you and wex? Wex that berm.

That wasn't half bad BW. It was all bad. We the fans and the players deserve to know who the coach is going to be. The club is being run badly and there has to be structure. A bit like other clubs do. I hope Cellino does things differently this pre-season. Don't think people would moan BW and Wex if the right path was being taken. Ex players, journalists and fans groups are critical of the great businessman. They must all be wrong and you two are right.

Agree0 Disagree1

08 May 2016 21:26:22
Guys the season is not finished 24hours and we all want decision made but who in their right mind wants to force an impulsive Italian into a quick fix . I to think Evans deserves an answer on the other hand I believe cellino has the right to take his time as Evans signed a contract to keep him at Leeds till June.

Ok here goes. How many other clubs are in no man's land like ours? Why do we have to go on like this? Oh yeah, we have a bafoon in charge. Cellino knows nothing about football. Look at his comments on Forestieri "Lazy with a bad attitude" the guy was what we needed. The players will be going on holiday this week and as other clubs target players, we fumble about waiting to know if the coach will be kept on. If not then the players and fans alike await No7. A new coach with new ideas probably foreign so won't know the players, our history or what a pressure job it is. This is going to be a definative season, we could have stability, go for quality players, get hope in the crowd, especially at home or we can pick a nobody coach who comes in gives the players already here a chance to prove themselves (Cellino saying no money for transfers) areas for improvement will be free transfers, come January the same nonsense spouted a few months back, "Where not going up save the money for summer". Even if it's the latter "plan" the usual suspects will back Cellino telling us what a great businessman he is.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

08 May 2016 17:52:38
how many clubs in no mans land? pretty much every club not in top flight that ain't getting promoted and just 'treading water' even some clubs like everton could also be included. of course those going down are not in no mans land but in fact shell shocked so least we ain't them and fit in with about 90% of all other clubs.

speaking of world war on refferences did I mention my play the greater game which tells the story of the footballers of Leyton Orient who all fought in the great war. it is going out at the southwark playhouse and well worth a watch (thought I would say as I ain't plugged it yet)

I don't understand people slagging off Big Steve for being emotional at the thought of having to leave. I don't think that was an act, I think he will be genuinely gutted. And I don't blame him. Never was his biggest fan, but he's grown on me - and I would have lots more confidence in SE doing a decent job for us next season, than I do in MC coming up with a better replacement.
He's shown more passion than his last few predecessors, and many of the players - and if he does go (as I fully expect he will) , he can hold his head up high, and I wish him all the best for the future. May well be our loss.

I think Evans knows his fate, after watching his interview yesterday, I think the guy should be given a chance next season, I agree with a lot of people on hear, we need at least 2 good strikers and new set of central defenders, and do what Burnley did and take a punt on a experienced midfielder ( joey barton) keep hold of cook and moment and the other youngsters and maybe we can give it a good go next season. MOT.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

08 May 2016 11:54:25
Think you'll find it's what we all think, I did post some time ago about Bently from Southend gk, have not spoken to my source since .

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 18:19:04
I think that Celino has been watching the Leicester City story. Pearson did ok there but then he took on an Italian manager and won the league, the only problem with following that through is that Cellino would pick an Italian manager who has been managing a back street school team in Rome.

I think Evans deserves the chance to take us into next season as many on here do, I just hope that all the tittle tattle coming out is just bored press speculation.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 03:03:32
Mirco confirms exit.

Like I said for a few months now, 3 strikers needed for promotion push. If Wood improves next season he should score 20 league goals but we going to need more firepower than that. The Douk can't be relied on and Erwin is not championship class.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

08 May 2016 07:02:25
Be happier if we got 3 new centre backs. The amount of points we have lost through defensive mistakes 10 . We would have finished top six.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2016 07:48:40
Bige
Just because we need 3 strikers doesn't mean we don't need 3 centre halves because we do.
I'd be happier with the strikers because you got no chance without goals and at least we have a good defensive midfield but for how long? Bridcutt staying? Evans? So much to do. Where's Cellino? Nowhere to be found.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2016 09:26:48
Lot to do but it is first day of the new season, I would say 2 forwards, 2 CH, winger and an old head in midfield he can hold things together when we get under pressure.

Agree the manager situation needs sorting ASAP as will all stem from that.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 May 2016 09:54:17
Agree with George if ants gone we are short up front, douk does shift but is never more than 10 goal man and I don't think wood will be hood and important player for us. Not sure we need three if she stays and we only play one up top. I think we didn't get best from ant who's class so gutted to see him go.
