stupid Millwall

Believable1 Unbelievable0

We are now going to have to rely on Uddersfield and Blackburn losing every week for us to stop up.

Agree5 Disagree1

Rather than waiting for others to lose we could try to win a few games

Agree3 Disagree0

We shouldn't be relying on ANYONE else's results!

RDM did well managing chelsea who TBH, anyone could do OK with. As WBA manager, he did nothing great. I suspect as a Leeds manager, he would be mediocre at best because he has not proved he can do it with a club that's not massive.

Winning the European Champions League and the FA Cup means he is more than proven you person, even the great Mourinio couldn't win it with Chelsea. HAVE A WORD WITH YOURSELF and put your brain in gear. Most sensible people would love him to come to Leeds. Who better is available or would come. A Champions League winner FFS

Agree3 Disagree1

MK DONS. Not a big club and he did very well with them

Agree3 Disagree0

He's on £40K a week compensation from Chelsea till the end of NEXT season (despite not being there) so why would he throw that away and accept less than a quarter of that from Leeds? Would you?

Wednesday last minute winner, Barnsley last minute equaliser, Can't afford to lose on sat because teams around us are getting results.

Believable10 Unbelievable0

League 1 is calling. Where are we going to get some points from?

Leeds are in real trouble now Sheffield weds are above us and Barnsley have drawn with Cardiff we can't score goals and if we lose on Saturday I fear the worst

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Agree I think we are now as good as down. Got that sinking feeling.

Any more happy souls out there want to cast more doom and gloom?

All is very quiet on the Elland Road news front, I hope there is much going on Behind the scenes though. May it be to us fans liking as we're due some really really good news. Like 8 years overdue!

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Only thing going on is selling byram to city only way GFH will get money in

OK here's a couple of scenarios, that from very limited information (gulf based) could well be played out over the next few months but one is totally dependent upon LU still being a Championship club. (come on, we all know the play offs have gone for this season)

GFH to secure further investment but remain major stakeholder with 51% to 55%. Further investment coming from a Bahraini based investor and a certain currently Hull based investor. KB to remain as president, Harvey to leave. Option for GFH to sell remaiming stake to new investor, at any point in next 5 years at a fixed price, giving GFH a profit on original outlay

Di Matteo offered job as Manager, and given a tranfer kitty approaching £ 15 million, excluding wages. Stumbling block to RDM is salary and length of contract being discussed he wants 3 years, big (and am told BIG) bonus for promotion being offered as a sweetener

Fall back position in the unlikely event we go down is Redfearn remains as Manager, No investment from Bahrain/ Hull, small investment from a Qatari bank, limited transfer funds eg 3 million including wages

Either way we keep Bates but Harvey goes at end of season.

Right, odds mean nothing, Di matteo could come in but then again so could steve kean. Not one person on this planet knows who is coming in to takeover from redfearn. All we know is Readfearn is incharge until the end of the season. So to people on here saying they know stuff from their aunti jackies sisters brothers boy whos friends with bono who knows rooney who is friends with shaun harvey blah blah blah rubbish. We will have a new manager by the start of next season all i'm saying is stop making up rumours and giving people false hope. This is a rumours site but some of the things I've read is hilarious, I'm a leeds fan and have been all my life, we will stay up and move from there with a new manager wether it be Di Matteo or Mcdermott or whoever! Nomatter what happens ill still support leeds MOT.

Hiya guys, this isn't a rumour or anything its just to see who people would like at Leeds. Next season who would you like to see at Leeds ( they won't happen) the team I would love would be:

GK-dm Bogdn
LB-Jonathan Parr
RB- Sam Byram
CB- Tom lees
CB-?
LM-Max-Alain Gradel
RM-Nathan Redmond
CM-Clayton
CM-?
ST-McCormack
ST-Charlie Austin

I know this team wouldn't happen but it will be interesting what you guys think.

You might be waiting a life time to see Leeds with an expensive team like that in the championship.
We are missing the legs in midfield that's why we are not getting points and the strikers are not scoring.

Yeah I know mate it would never happen, but I think it would be a good squad :)

Official. on GFH web-site. anouncing Roberto D-M as our new manager/coach and a 27-mega-quid transfer kitty.

Starts Monday.

Now. admit it. didn't your morale rise, your heart skip a beat when you heard that.

But it's not true.

Now don't you feel cheated, cheapened. and saddened. more dispondent. like you season ticket is worth just that little bit less.

There you are you see. now at least you know what it would feel like if we did get him.

RD-M right man for me. now for feck sake let's make this reality GFH

Believable2 Unbelievable3

I did have a look at GFH website out of idle curiosity. Nothing about Leeds United of course but they do brag of 'the ability to make things better'.

Oh yeah? Prove it!

Please please please can we get Robbie D-M! I have such respect for him even though he's an ex-chelski manager! With him at the helm, quality players would be more inclined to join us. The guy won the CL last season for god sake. Its not as if he doesn't have experience at lower tiers either, he used to manage the Dons. I've got my fingers firmly crossed because I have a very good feeling about this one! MOT

Believable12 Unbelievable2

Icouldn:t be bothered who we get as long they get us out of this mess.

09 Apr 2013 15:34:55
I know this will get a lot of abuse but managers we have been linked with some are failures three that could be available and could be player managers neville scholes I know they are both ex man u but remember when a certain person came to leeds and it was a start of something good also I do think that jc from liverpool as his coaching badges and would probably love a go.
just thoughts knock me down if you want

Believable3 Unbelievable11

Like most LUFC supporters I would rather die a slow painful death than see Carragher or Dot Cotton's twin brother as manager.

Agree2 Disagree7

And yet again us Leeds fans show ourselves to be our own worst enemy by harbouring childish, petty grievances about Manchester United players. Gary Neville would be a great addition to any management team. Who cares if he played for them, or if Di Matteo played for Chelsea. For f##is sake, grow up - the club is in far too precarious a position to be so immature about potential candidates. If we want a modern, successful football team we have to start acting like modern football fans; not cavemen from the 1970's.

10 Apr 2013 16:50:38
no. I agree. get JC and his Dad in to manage Leeds. Should well give us a leg up on the opposition.

Oh. not that JC. sorry. I misunderstood.

Aaah but you mean Jamie Craggy and Phil Nev. yeah. sounds really really good to me. would love it, live it. I definitely can see that. well I mean. I could see that if I wasn't also enjoying sticking red hot pins in me eyes and stapling me tongue to me left knee for fun.

(Man but it hurts when you run)

10 Apr 2013 16:52:17
Absolutely. My objection to Hughes is that he's cr@p, not the he's ex Man U. Giles & Strachan, two of our greates players, both came over the Pennines. Neville comes across on TV as intelligent & knowledgeable. He wouldn't be my first choice because I'd like to see someone with experience but I will support any manager (I never once shouted Warnock Out at the matches even though I opposed him from day one on here).

09 Apr 2013 12:23:19
Always wanted Di Matteo before Warnock etc but didn't think we had the cash or the desire. I still don't think he would come but if he did at least he would want players at the club who play the game with a bit of flair and commitment.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Well he isn't doing anything in particular right now, so what does he have to lose?

keighley white here who"2b the new boss I 4 one don"t care as long as he gets us back 2 the top of british football, it can be ex man u chelsea anyone as long as they do the job, I know loads will press the disagree tag but i"ve been following the team home and away over 40 years i"ve seen good times and far far too many bad times so if we do end up with a boss from the dark side give him a chance b4 going 4 his head look what stracs did when he came just hope the next man in can have the same impact

Believable10 Unbelievable0

So if Cantona and Hughes took us up on 138 points next season you would be happy?

Agree5 Disagree0

09 Apr 2013 10:27:52
I know he's a dirty mank and I might get shot down for this but what about signing phil neville and making him our captain next season he's looking for a new club and I think he's a real model professional. even when he's on the bench for everton he's shouting orders to the team and encouraging. not seen peltier do this once this season!

Believable27 Unbelievable5

I live in Liverpool hence the name Liverbird and so I work with plenty of Evertonians who say Neville's legs have gone so that would be a big fat NO

All the people saying Roberto Di Matteo is coming to us sound like persons at first! But I can see where there coming from, on tv manager betting the top two odds next leeds manager are Brian McDermott who's 6/4 and then Di Matteo who's 5/2 now these odds could change at any time but I would like to see poyet back but the two above would please me! Check it out ed on tv website!
