Any updates on Jack Clarke, anyone?
Seen some smoggy tweeting something horrible; hope they find him and ban him.

Nothing else from the club. Imagine he is getting tests to try and understand what happened and why.

Just after I wrote that, saw a tweet from Ian Harte saying that he has left hospital, up and about and smiling. Good news.

09 Feb 2019 23:05:07
He’s been discharged from hospital in Middlesbrough and on his way home to york . don’t know anymore than that boys.

Nobody normally collapses, needs oxygen and a stretcher after half a game of football, unless there is an underlying problem. I am deeply concerned for the Clark family, hope all is well.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2019 11:37:36
The good thing is that he was in the right place for prompt medical attention and I’m sure he is going to be thoroughly tested. Fingers crossed for the lad.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 18:41:59
How long is he going to persevere with Ayling . Another terrible display! I'm sick of hearing ״ he's not the same player since his injury " as he was rubbish for most of this season . Please MB give young Shack his chance on Wednesday .

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Feb 2019 19:11:44
I am gutted that Ayling has dropped below the standards he has set himself
I haven't seen the levels he has previously reached at all this year. Can't help wondering if his mate Barkley going to WBA has affected him

To those guys that went, or even saw the telly version, how did Bamford and Roofe play together. I know I have bored the site with my belief that Roofe would be a better 10 than Saiz was. Did he play that role at all?

How did Bamfo.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 21:42:16
Red hot, he didn’t persevere with him he replaced him with Shackleton. Bielsa shows loyalty to his players but also is prepared to make a change. He rarely changes defensive options during a game except for injury. Ayling wasn’t injured and Shackleton equiped himself well. Could find himself keeping the spot for the mid week game . Now he needs to make the most of the opportunity.

I was impressed with how the team kept going today in the face of Jacks health problem. You could see they were very concerned but still concentrated enough to get the equalizer. It would have been very easy to let the game peter out as a Middlesborough win in the circumstances.

Pablo and KP both showed how important they are to the success of this side and Roofe and Bamford have real potential together.

Still got Izzy to fit into it all.

Thoughts tonight with Jack Clarke and his family. A great shock and I hope they manage to get to the bottom of it quickly.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 21:55:48
Ayling played well first dozen games after he signed and imo it’s been downhill after, although he actually played well for the opening few games this season. Basically he’s not good enough for a team playing for promotion just like BPF isn’t up to it. Nobody likes putting players down but the lad has become a liability’s and it’s time for a change.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 22:20:33
I agree Corky, I can see how Some people think Bielsa gives some players too many opportunities, but I think this also gets the players on his side. He doesn’t over react quickly and tries to give players a chance to find their form. I think today’s sub for Shackleton could be telling. Everybody was expecting brown to come on and he took the other option. My gut would be that Shackleton gets a start in the next game.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 22:39:46
Bielsa's underuse of Shacks as well as his overuse of Ayling has been criminal. Halme should've played more too.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - maybe marco should move over george and let you have a go at it mate.. :)

09 Feb 2019 22:56:32
Good point Ed! I think like most of us our strengths are also our weaknesses sometimes. The players know that Bielsa has their back and supports them. His gut is to stick with people he really knows, perhaps a little too long for some. But we are still up there, now it’s down to Janie to take his chance if he gets it again this week.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2019 01:16:37
Ed025 From what I'm hearing that's what the Football League are aiming for, at least the first part.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 16:56:41
First of all hope Clarke is ok young lad should be fine although he will probably get blamed for us scoring-new spygate? lol points deduction?
I was kinda right the other day Phillips what a player Yorkshire Pirlo! I know we didn`t win but that point feels like one! Shame Bamford missed that goal-at least he didn't get injured! would have liked to see brown get 20 minutes but I think it was wiser swapping Ayling, been poor recently

Anyway onwards and upwards would love Ipswich to do us a favour like Villa last night wish we were a few more points ahead but no outright winner this season mot! utw! In Bielsa we trust!

Think any team in this league would take a point at Boro as a result, so no harm done today. Good to get Bamford back in the mix and KP comes good again.

Next 3 games up for us are very winnable. Swansea, bolton and QPR. Hopefully today's point (feels like a win) is a turning point.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

09 Feb 2019 15:59:07
Well done, glass half full Mezzer. They are winnable esp if we stop giving away the first goal the trying to break down a 10 man defence.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 16:05:04
Totally Mezzer, all winnable, but think every game is going to be a cup final now TIL the end of the season. Still think we can do it tho!

Hopefully whoever was taken ill on our bench is ok.
Back to the game. I'm very worried we seem to have lost our mojo. Start of the season we would have taken Middlesborough apart.
We were no better than last week.
Good for Philips to get the goal as he was one of the few that played ok. Final ball bad. Finishing bad. Ayling bad!
Having said that happy with a point as it keeps the gap between us and Middlesborough the same.

Hopefully, JC is just precautionary.

I put the ring on, cross digits on both hands and both feet (not easy to do when standing up) then kiss the ring 4 times every minute. Can only be used in last 10mins and no more than once a week. Oh and it has to go on my little finger left hand mainly because I'm 3st heavier than I was in 1974.

I just love this team, we may not make the most of our chances, we may occasionally defend like schoolboys, but. we don't give up even in the 101 minute! We need a bit of luck!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Feb 2019 14:17:53
Hate to say it, but are the wheels falling off our wagon? Really hope not, but we have not been the same team since spygate erupted, seems to have disrupted the camp totally, of course this is only my opinion and not hard facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 15:26:54
We have had our fair share of injuries that haven't helped as we working with a relatively small squad. Lots of outside influences going on trying to derail us, the spy gate witch hunt. EFL, some parts of the media and some of our opposition are more than happy to see us fail.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 16:41:22
I’d play shack in place of Harrison.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 17:39:05
The way Harrison and Ayling play at times I'd play Shack instead of them both 😁.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 12:10:08
Well I like this team and the bench it gives us! Chance for Ayling to get the fans back on side. Harrison with Alioski behind him improved Harrison. The chance for Bamford and Roofe to play together. Clarke another chance from the start and hopefully more of a chance to run at them. Also means we have one of our strongest benches of the season with somone called Brown, Hernadez and Roberts as well as Shackleton, Aaapo and Davis! That's a flexible group of players for me that should have enough! A 2-1 win for us!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Feb 2019 12:39:21

09 Feb 2019 12:51:41
Please let's not give them an early goal start!

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 13:02:40
If he’s playing down the left which looks likely it’s Harrison’s best position . Last week playing down the light I don’t remember a single cross as he’s so left footed and lost possession trying to cut in on his left .

09 Feb 2019 13:13:13

Agree0 Disagree0

Usal amount of possession lots of huff and puff but not a shot on target from us according to the stats.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Feb 2019 11:44:37
The nonsense of the EFL dragging on this witch hunt into the so called spygate issue smacks more as some kind of vendetta led by Shaun Harvey.
This is a guy who in my opinion should not hold the position he holds and I would also say is morally corrupt. How someone can hold such a position when in a previous life he was involved with harassment of Mervyn Levi. It is well known he had issues in the past with the Leeds supporters trust.
Adrian Durham from radio talksport who isn't a fan of as he calls us Dirty Leeds, has got it spot on when he says it seems like a plot from the EFL to derail Leeds utds season.
I really hope we can get our season back on track and see some improvement in our results so we can get the help out of this league and say goodbye to the EFL.

big game today,

was gutted after Norwich but now dust has settled it was one of those days. Nowrich were very good to be fair, we didn;t turn up and if we gotthe pen at 1-0 it might of been different story

anyway losing ain't a problem it is how you respond so a win is a must today. espcially as I have been giving Steve Gibsons daughter stick all morning and will continue all year if we win!

praying for a win but think it will be 1-1 let's face it lads as I said to Gibbo we ain't no newport.

Wet and windy conditions today going to be a tough game, historically we have bounced back, today is all about the result, just one more goal than them will do it. Hoping KP plays as we look so much more secure with him in front of our back four. Think we are the better side, my only concern is Pullus will have em in our faces and whether we can hold our nerve and stay in control. Three points that’s all anyway we can get them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Feb 2019 11:12:17
If, and it's a big if, we can manage to score first I think we could get a big win. Their fans are not at all happy at the moment and a goal for us will see them turn on their own team.
