So if the rumour is to be believed that Bartley about to sign for WBA for around 3.5 million. Got to ask the question (s) why can't we match that fee? Wasn't Leeds his preferred destination and he wanted to come? And how bad was his holiday with Ayling? Something seriously stinks with the recruitment policy at present. We were lead to believe we had a 20 million plus transfer fund including investment money from Radz selling some shares in the club. orta supposedly had great contacts along with Beilsa. Kinnear moans its a slow tough market yet other teams like Forest, Boro etc getting their business done.

In the current market I have to agree that at 3.5 million Bartley would be good business, kinnear reckons most of our squad played at 70%, I think that’s rubbish, last season we saw how poor some were, the recruitment was shocking last season and so far this seasons is even worse! . time yet, but if we won’t pay the wages that proven championship players want then we will end up with ‘risk players again, on small wages, ie cibliki, grot antonnson, De bock, wieldweld etc etc.

After being in talks with a player for about two months we have suddenly realised he wants to much money, I have to ask how much are we paying the person involved with are transfer dealings ? The new leeds kit is due out next week. It includes a fleece, apparently it's made of the finest material we've not seen since last years transfer BS. My latest question is, were there ever serious negotiations for Hernandez and Vydra? When is the last offer, the last offer? Is it time to walk away (from what I do not know) before everybody else is gone.

My only hope D is that a rough diamond (or two) will shine in the pre seasons and solve our positional crises. I hope that it's Roberts at the front and Shaugnessy at the back with Pearce carrying on where he left off. Pontus won't be there so it's a chance for someone to stake a claim.

Shaunnesy as we saw last season is too slow, struggled at times I thought, we Roberts has only ever played league one football so he may work but it’s a gamble, Pearce is the one who could do really well, liked the look of him, and very composed on the ball
