It's a fools game predicting final placing. But all 4 experts on 90 min basically have the current top two up and us and Southampton in play offs.
I have no clue how it will finish but if I had to pick one of the four to go up that would currently be Southampton.

After one point in three games there is no point in keeping a self-imposed silence.

There is no explanation as to why, but I have a very positive feeling about the next game and for some reason am sure it is going to be a win scoring 3 or more goals.

The last time I had a feeling like this it was correct and I hope it happens again and it is not just the effects of last night's chilli.

The Leeds United supporters at ER for Blackburn match were palpably nervous

As for this Leeds team being a young team. its not really that young.

Sorry George, but you will never know that information. Besides I donā€™t think I want to share my opinion on threads anymore that are monopolized mainly by a couple of wums, whose opinions of Leeds United football club are somewhat dubious. in this present day.

George (and others similarly afflicted) , will you ever be able to resist the itch of school playground name calling? - itā€™s not funny and itā€™s not clever, even if combined with what you seem to consider ā€˜cleverā€™ wordplay. This site would be all the better if you could - and more folk might stick around/ contribute.

Baz - Farkesā€˜s Leeds is the 5th youngest Leeds team ever. 22.4 years behind Bielsa (18/ 19 also 22.4) and three Revie teams (youngest being 22.2 in 66/ 67) .

DOLā€™s youngest team was 23.0 in 00/ 01 ranking 16th. All according to Transfermarkt.

Well said OP and Cluey.
Georgeā€™s immature, playground jibes and PP attempts at intelligence are as effective as an ashtray on a motorbike. The bosom buddies need a ā€œby the hourā€ hotel room to thrash out their frustrations.
What was once a daily part of my morning coffee routine is now more painful than a trip to IKEA with a very indecisive ex wife and two toddlers!

I used to get away tickets all the time too, but now you have have attended 22 away games, which it's impossible to get tickets for because you can't attend an away game. It's getting worse, been a member since it started, left for 1 year so didn't do 10 consecutive years, so not entitled to priority membership, but all the years before that don't count.
Indeed, where have they all come from.

19 Apr 2024 14:27:49
We know how to buy loan and injure them .
Gray takes over. So kam and Gruev mid.
Prob same old up front. Zzz.
We had our chance to recruit but didnā€™t.
We are Leeds. But until our league position resembles Leeds we are old news.
Itā€™s good we have a chance to experience new owners and manager this season.
Letā€™s see how smart they are for season 2.

I think Connor Roberts got his injury during the International games for Wales.

Agree1 0Disagree

19 Apr 2024 18:42:06
Yes I think it was Wales first game where Robertā€™s was injured. The international break was a bad blow for us, but we werenā€™t the only ones, I think Leicester are struggling with a few injuries to key players including Vardy, Dewsbury-Hall and Pereira.
Lucky Ipswich have largely been injury free all this season, a part of the reason Iā€™m sure why they have gone well above most peopleā€™s expectations.

Although Anthony hasnā€™t played much he and Rodon have both been fit and injury free this season for us.

For me, we need a CMF, striker. Guess it all depends which league we are playing in. If we get promoted i'd go for one of the following forwards, Batsyui, Bereton diaz, Fofana or maybe scmodics.

Agree1 0Disagree

19 Apr 2024 13:27:43
Defo a CMF and striker regardless of league we are in.

Agree1 0Disagree

18 Apr 2024 15:43:39
Whatever league we are in next year a change of personnel is called for in some positions. One of these, possibly. is striker? Obviously Plan A would be to go out and buy the best we can afford however may I suggest a Plan B?
If there is real potential in Joseph then can we purchase a stop gap striker, to bring Joseph on whilst mentoring the young lad. There are a few strikers who have proved their worth in the past and still hold a credible threat up front. Danny Ings, Memphis Depay and Calum Wilson are just a few whose contracts are up for renewal next year and due to their age will be easily affordable.

Agree4 0Disagree

18 Apr 2024 16:18:45
Definitely a quick natural goalscoring striker and a genuine CAM needed

We would have been Champions this season with them.

Agree1 0Disagree

18 Apr 2024 16:33:30

Baz looking at it Midfield is a definite problem next year, but in a good way!

Most managers would like that headache.

18 Apr 2024 17:06:48
I hear you Leo . they are all good ( ish) players for top 4 Champo definitely. EPL maybe.

but CMs should be scoring a few goals creating quite a lot of goals.

18 Apr 2024 17:09:15
Whilst I agree, in principle, Chris Szmodics stats other than this year are not amazing however while we are on the subject of raiding Blackburn, Tyrhise Dolan looked usefull should we need a winger.

Smozdics the dogs Niagara's

Surely we would show an interest in a position we were desperate to fill

I was bigging him up early doors this season Leo, seen him last and he caught my eye massively

All speculative I know.

Agree1 0Disagree

18 Apr 2024 21:49:06
Chris would he genuinely be good enough in EPL.

That Coventry CAM player who was good in Champo who Blades bought last summer isn't pulling up trees in EPL.

Agree0 0Disagree

19 Apr 2024 07:01:50
Fact of the matter is we didn't have a great window at the start of the year due to the mess the club was in and therefore didn't get the players DF really wanted, including a natubal CAM and a striker. We only moved for Piroe when our other targets fell through. I think we would look to rectify that for next season.

19 Apr 2024 07:43:56

Agree0 0Disagree

18 Apr 2024 12:38:57
Fake madness, as some posters described him, justified in his actions for subbing Willy against Blackburn. Gnonto was still not fully fit and Farke didnā€™t want to risk him any longer than he already did.
Donā€™t be so quick to trash our coaches decisions when we donā€™t know the reasons behind it.
Gnontoā€™s impact on these last three games could decide whether we get automatic promotion or not!

18 Apr 2024 13:58:34

But just want him to get it right. No fluffy ups.
Choose the right players for each game.

The Blackburn defeat on Farke.

1.Primarily taking off Gruev leaving Leeds nonsensicaly with no CDM at nil. nil. the Blackburn goal does NOT happen otherwise.

This is NOT just my opinion but many Leeds United content creators opinions Connor McGillgan, Kagey TV etc

2.Balderdash on Gnonto just an excuse. The guy was full of running and looked well peeved to be coming off

3.CR coming off less disastrous than IG in particular. but questionable too.

Good points OP. Thereā€™s only two reasons Farke did what he did.

1) he knows all of the information about the status of the players
2) he reads these pages and did it to wind up Baz and George.

Pretty sure itā€™s the first reason.

This time last season DF was getting the ole tin tack after just one season in tne Fatherland. to be far more current up to date fella!

A manager is only as good as his previous match and by general consensus of most of the Leeds United content creators and others DF forked up the Blackburn match with his subs ; lost Leeds the match!

Your expectations are completely and utterly delusional, given the fact also Farke is a new coach to the club with some very talented but also very young inexperienced players.
