Just seen the Team of the season.
3 Leeds 2 Leicester 1 Ipswich. On the whole can't really find too much wrong with it except If Rutter, Jimmy and Amps get in surely there is a place for Joe Rodon?

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 12:11:20
Rodon has been best CD all season

Leif Davis class at LB .

15 Apr 2024 16:58:34
Baz Davis sale cost us a certain Championship šŸ† title. Indicative of the threefold myopic rodent šŸ§  power.

15 Apr 2024 17:41:07
Too fricking true George .

Those Leif Davis 16 assists and 2 goals would have had us Champs by March.

15 Apr 2024 17:53:12
Davis is a typical beilsa defender, amazing going forward but awful at defending. Personally Iā€™m old school and like defenders to defend first

Anyone see the irony in that the most beilsa like defender was not given a chance and forced out of the club by, you guessed it! Belisa

Funny the statler and Waldorf of the group are moaning about losing a player that there god forced out?

Brilliant.

15 Apr 2024 22:03:16
Berm

1.Davis is a proven match winner at Champo level ; specialist in getting promoted

2.Bielsa loved and played ' Very good Davis '

3.You be wrong ; it was Orta and Marsch ( not Bielsa ) who foolishly sold Davis in July 2022.

4.I admire Bielsa first 3 years but he is not my " god " as you keep erroneously stating.

15 Apr 2024 22:05:17
.
And Berm . any idea why in posts that do NOT even mention Bielsa , you go off on an obsessive rants about Bielsa!

Obsessed?

15 Apr 2024 22:07:57
Bermondsey, I think Bielsa agreed to his loan but Uncle Jesse actually sold Leif Davis to Ipswich
However, Bielsa clearly didn't rate him at that moment in time.

15 Apr 2024 22:33:43
Sorry Bermo but I think youā€™re wrong on this one mate.
Davis was definitely loaned out by MB to get first team experience but he was sacked a good few months before Davis was sold by Leeds.
Statler and Waldorf love it šŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

15 Apr 2024 22:40:34
Davis left last year under Marsch.

15 Apr 2024 23:43:39
Wrong ( as usual ) Berma on all counts šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

1) Davis defensively would not have much to do this season . Whereas his assists would ensure Leeds were champions

2 ) Bielsa liked " very good Davis " and played him.

3) Leif Davis was sold by clueless Victor Orta and Jesse Marsch ( NOT Bielsa ) in July 2025 .5 months after Bielsa had left the club!

16 Apr 2024 08:44:45
Bielsa still living rent free in Berma's mind.

16 Apr 2024 08:51:19
Berm So Jesse Marsch is Marcelo Bielsa. Nice plot twist!

16 Apr 2024 10:05:40
I Don't think it was a case of anyone being forced out berm. Bielsa had Davis in a lot of his first team squads. It was more his age and timing. We had more experience in front of him including dallas.

We went into the prem and Davis was never going to be first choice. It took him a move to league one and now the championship and I still think he might struggle with the prem if they go up. I would have given him a couple of loans but I don't know what his contract details were.

I think it happened with a few of our youngsters. Our rise under bielsa was that rapid that young players bought for a middling championship team were suddenly faced with developing and breaking into a championship winning or a prem side.

16 Apr 2024 10:06:37
They forgot to the 3 own goals šŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

16 Apr 2024 12:35:15
No all that was just to bate my new mate baz who I have found in real life!

Belisa clearly didnā€™t rate him or give him game time but of course he was sold by marche

Just new that by mentioning baz god bubs Iā€™d get a torrid of rants from bazā€¦. because I live in his head

So sorry group but I couldnā€™t resist bating the little baz fishy and he took the Bate hook line and sinkerā€¦ posting one rant twice! Brilliant

In other news mr baz now I know who you are in real life we going to meet up mateā€¦ maybe go fishing?

16 Apr 2024 13:23:11
Iā€™m sorry Baz, but your beef on Davis being sold is very much with the benefit of hindsight. Up to the point of his sale he had very little first team experience, partly through manager preference and partly due to a succession of niggling injuries. He had just spent a season in the Championship with Bournemouth, during which he made the match day squad for just 17 of 46 fixtures, starting just 7 times, being subbed on 5 times and amassing a total of less than 600 minutes. Granted, he started each of their three cup games, but over the season he played less than 850 minutes, and chipped in with just 1 assist. The previous season, he was in Bielsaā€™s Prem squad for 25 of the 38 matches, getting 2 sub appearances for a total of 31 minutes under Bielsa. It was Bielsaā€™s decision to let him go on loan the next season. Bielsa had included him in the previous seasonā€™s Champ match day squad 11 times, handing him 3 sub appearances for a total of 13 minutes.

When he was sold in July 2022, there was little evidence to suggest that he would become a reliable option for the Prem, which was the level we were playing at. Granted the same could have been said of Firpo, but Davis was not the obvious answer to that problem. In relation to Davis specifically, ideally we would have sent him out for another Champ loan, giving him a further opportunity to develop, and to show he could be a reliable (form and fitness) option at that, and possibly Prem level. Unfortunately, his contract was expiring in June 23, so a new or extended contract would have been needed. Davis himself wanted some certainty in his future and didnā€™t favour a further loan with the possibility he might later establish himself at Leeds but rather to become settled somewhere as a first teamer - ruling out agreement on new/ extended contract - so at that point all available evidence suggested the best option for the Club was to cash in on him then, rather than lose for free at the end of the season. Even if he had agreed to go out on loan again, Davis would have been a free agent last summer, with no guarantee heā€™d have agreed a new deal at that point, if indeed Farke had wished to offer one.

Can you point us to any contrary evidence at the point he was sold (July 22) , which suggested that Davis would become a reliable attacking fullback at Champ level, let alone a reliable option at Prem level, which is where he would have had to play had he stayed at Leeds that season, and where we desperately hope we will be playing next season? Given the defensive shortcomings others have alluded to, if we do manage to get promoted, would you be advocating his starting in the Prem next season?

16 Apr 2024 14:15:39
And as a follow-on question (to both Baz and George) , if our current owner, director and management structure had been in place in July 22, do you honestly believe that (on the basis of the evidence to that point) they would have kept Leif Davis at Leeds with a promise of significant Prem first team involvement that season and thereby convinced him to sign a new or extended contract?

16 Apr 2024 14:39:38
Clu ; your point about his remaining length of contract 1 year is valid.

The rest of your post is seemingly all conjecture because I don't recall what you suggest these details being reported in press. and a lot of what is reported, in press isn't even true/ click bait/ club propaganda etc as you well know and remind us frequently.

so unless your Uncle Victor told you ( and again still could be false) Or perhaps more pertinently for accuracy you are Leif Davis agent you don't know what was really offered/ happened or not offered Clu.

As for Davis alleged defiencies . not only is he far better than Firpo going forward, he also is ( far) better defensively which isn't difficult as Firpo is shockingly bad defensively!

Clu have a poll of Leeds supporters who they would prefer in EPL / Champo

Davis or Firpo?

95 per cent plus choose Davis over Firpo.

16 Apr 2024 14:49:06
As for your follow up question Clu . why not? Certainly as one of several LBs at club . all professionally well run clubs should hsve at least 2 Left footed LBs in their squad

Instead SF49ers unbelievably have just one left footed LB in their squad! . an over sight which has caused Leeds issues and problems.

16 Apr 2024 15:28:24
Clue are you accusing baz of being captain hindsightā€¦. never

Here is a baz like prediction from berm the original oricle

Baz will make another five highlight posts this season full of hyperbole.

16 Apr 2024 17:06:00
Clu If I may interject I know that Liverpool enquired about buying Davis and a Ā£4M bid was rumoured to be lodged by them. I had seen enough of Davis to know he would have been an asset. Part of good club strategy is to retain players good enough to get you promoted in event of your relegation. He was such a player.

16 Apr 2024 19:14:36
Far too much hindsight going on here concerning Lief Davis, nobody was raving about him before as much as Jimmy wasnā€™t being raved about.
Yes he does look a decent prospect now but this is all as I said, in the benefit of hindsight. What Clu has posted is as it was and thatā€™s it.
Stop trying to make out that we all knew he was going to come a decent player in the Championship.

The made up I told you so stories are very boring.

16 Apr 2024 19:23:51
Facts are back in Summer of 2022 George and mysel were against the SALE of Leif Davis and had similar debates on it with Clu.

Nothing " made up " about it OP. try and keep it real.

16 Apr 2024 20:04:10
Baz while he was at Leeds playing or not because he was injured so often nobody including you and George were raving about the great talent of Leif Davis.
Keep it real yourself, please.

16 Apr 2024 20:15:23
Raving no but rating enough yes.

16 Apr 2024 20:46:12
Well put Cluey! Good to see you popping back. Hope youā€™re doing well pal!?

16 Apr 2024 21:05:00
Good to see you Clu - hope you are well fellah.

He deserves it, his transition has been spectacular in such a short period, just hope we can hold on to him.

15 Apr 2024 11:19:00
No EPL, No Jimmy next season

Sadly that will be way it will go

But here's hoping that ain't case OP.

15 Apr 2024 11:34:36
Had a very good season. Faded a bit but over used.
Jimmy mez Rodon Anthony roberts and prob Danny will go if no prom.

15 Apr 2024 11:43:21
If we go up we need better than Summerville . sell him.

15 Apr 2024 11:52:27
Thatā€™s a ridiculous comment Baz, heā€™s definitely Premiership quality and if we do go up he wonā€™t be fouled as often as he does in the Championship with the very lenient referring and no VAR.
He is without doubt our best player at this moment in time.

15 Apr 2024 12:20:41
No OP

If Chelsea or Man U or Liverpool want to offer Leeds big money. take it and reinvest in team

Summerville needs to add more to his game . his cut in onto his right foot is so uber predictable, one trick pony, his passing isn't great, his crossing isn't anywhere near EPL quality, he has pace but he isn't strong physically. gets bullied.

EPL has a lot of quick, physical athletic defenders who will have CS under control/ in their pockets

Last season CS had a mini purple patch of 4 matches 4 goals then nowt all season in EPL no goals

#overrated.

15 Apr 2024 12:30:04
Op don't dis Baz, he is DJs father and manager, there's no way he would give Jimmy any creditšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

15 Apr 2024 12:46:56
Lol Dougie pal šŸ¤£ lurve DJ 150 % commitment to cause first and foremost.

15 Apr 2024 13:08:41
But he should be committed to the cause Baz. He gets paid for itā€¦ā€¦. šŸ¤¦šŸ¼.

15 Apr 2024 13:26:35
He does indeed Brighty

But he is far more committed than most others . that's tne point fella.

15 Apr 2024 14:25:47
Disagree Baz. He has scored a few off right peg but faints left to touch line too. I actually prefer the left cause poss pen although he does ping em from right.
Equal imo.

15 Apr 2024 15:17:07
Well I guess Jimmy being voted player of the season was just an illusion and didnā€™t really happen.
In the Matrix Daniel James was voted player of the season.

15 Apr 2024 15:25:26
Nah Aus
Watch again
And most (not a few) of his goals are with his right peg.

15 Apr 2024 15:51:35
OP yes Summerville POTS in Champo an vastly inferior league in quality to EPL šŸ˜†

DJ isn't the best player in Champo agreed . but his stats are close to CS ( minus his 4 pens)

Just saying.

15 Apr 2024 17:55:07
Baz just when I think you canā€™t get any more dumber. then I read you next posts

Are you posting tongue in cheek or you seriously think what you type?

15 Apr 2024 18:35:18
Then if Jimmy is a better player than DJ in the Championship, why sell him in the Prem if promoted, why not sell DJ if he is inferior to Jimmy?
Youā€™re not making sense Baz?!

15 Apr 2024 19:19:14
Congrats indeed to Summerville, Grey, Amps and Rutter for their gongs. Tremendous season for the lot of em.

15 Apr 2024 22:19:55
OP
If Leeds go up, if clubs offer big money for Cre then sell; buy a better player from Europe better value

DJ a squad player.

15 Apr 2024 22:33:55
OP IF Leeds go up

And IF a big offer comes in for CS

Then sell CS

Replace CS with a better player
; ideally better value transfer fee player

DJ is squad player in EPL.

15 Apr 2024 22:49:15
Time hopefully will tell if Summerville is good enough for premier league with Leeds. In my mind heā€™s definitely good enough whether heā€™s top draw player for a top 4 club time will tell. Our winger Anthony done the business at Bournemouth in the top flight and he canā€™t get ahead of Jimmy.
And Bazza I know youā€™ve got a man crush on James but you literally canā€™t compare the two players as James failed miserably in the Premier league. Maybe next time he can prove doubters wrong?

16 Apr 2024 09:00:33
OP . CS is a better player than DJ and more in demand

IF big bucks offered for CS take it and improve squad . find better than CS for less

DJ a bench player in EPL.

15 Apr 2024 07:55:16
This is going to sound strange but I'm quite happy the next 2 games are away from home.

I don't think the lads are handling the pressure of expectations too well at ER for whatever reason. We need an early goal to get the fans going and it's not happening.

Boro won't make the play offs but it is a Yorkshire derby (of sorts) so they will be up for it.

QPR definitely need the points and they have to go for them. I can't see either of them sitting back and trying to hit us on the break, which has worked lately.

Just my thoughts.

Agree4 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 08:47:51
50% agree Sheds. I just feel Boro have already dug the foundations for a bus parking lot in their penalty area, and wonā€™t show any ambition at all, except to deny us the 3 points we desperately need.

15 Apr 2024 10:01:41
When they came to Elland rd, it was a pretty full on game until they had a player sent off.
You are right though sheds there is a possibility that the expectation at home at this moment in time is bearing down on the players.
For me now itā€™s got nowt to do now with rotation and selection. I would say all the players are feeling the pressure and now is the time that they need to overcome their apprehensions and play freely like we were from the beginning of this year to the international break.

This will be down to Farke to get his troops ready to fight for their lives with flair, passion and most of all a great belief and confidence that they can do this.
Itā€™s going to be so close in the end that I seriously believe goal difference will be the decider for automatic promotion.

15 Apr 2024 10:35:11
Hopefully not having Ayling (who has started every game and actually played decently for them) or Greenwood (whoā€™s started 4 of the last 5 games and would have scored the winner v Ipswich but for a fine save by their keeper) will diminish Boro at least a little. Yes, I know, probably grasping at straws a little.

15 Apr 2024 11:19:13
Greenwood should never have been loaned out. Useful player and excellent on corners and scoring from free kicks which we need.

Mskes assists also .

Ailing playing well too would have been useful to keep till end of season.

15 Apr 2024 11:53:00
I'll take the 50% Brighty, thought I might get shot down totally tbh.

OP I'm not sure Farke has a motivational speech in him, at least not in the same vein as say Jim Telfer's to the British Lions before the first test in 1997 (which worked btw) or Alf Ramsay after the Germans equalized in 1966. All Sir Alf said was "you've won it once, now win it again" (that also worked) .

15 Apr 2024 12:22:45
Lurve it 2 Sheds

Post of 2024 šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘.

15 Apr 2024 13:10:49
Who would Greenwood have played instead of Baz? . at the point of his loan rather than now, which would be an easier choice.

In my view, until the last 3-4 games, I don't think he would be picked?

15 Apr 2024 13:28:39
Ani . SG could alternate with GK . and an excellent bench option to bring on.

15 Apr 2024 19:00:04
2 Sheds, I wouldnā€™t be saying Herr Farke is up there with the likes of Sir Alf, but he must have said something motivational to his Norwich players other than, "just go out there and do yer best", to win the Championship not once but twice, which is undeniably one of the most difficult leagues to win.

15 Apr 2024 22:36:48
OP

DF speech likely: ' Give ball to. Buendia and Pukki '

15 Apr 2024 23:01:20
OP Herr Farke had class acts in a t true genuine CAM in Buendia and a true goalscorer in Pukki

His motivational team talks were merely " give ball to Buendia" šŸ¤£

Great post again on motivational team talksšŸ˜ by Sir Alf etc 2Sheds.

15 Apr 2024 04:27:48
Champo Awards

( 1) So Summerville pips Dewsbury Hall as Champo Player of Season

I expect every Leeds supporter concurs ; hopefully Summerville can rediscover previous much better form for final 3 games!

( 2) Archie Gray gets YPOTY ( fair enough) . well done AG.

(3) McKenna Manager of Year . totally the correct decision.

I know there are some on here who do not rate him that much

but imo McKenna has been impressive and over achieved with his Ipswich team ahead of Leicester, Leeds and Southampton.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 05:36:53
Canā€™t argue with any of those awards really.

15 Apr 2024 08:49:38
At this point of the season, tho I donā€™t rate him, canā€™t argue with the Ipswich gaffer winning it. Obviously our players deserve their awards without question. Interesting that Rodon didnā€™t make team of the season, but Amps did?

15 Apr 2024 11:21:01
So likely 2 promotions in a row and yer don't rate him .

Makes no sense .

15 Apr 2024 11:37:11
In my eyes will go down as the worst team I have seen to ever get promoted. If they do.
But he got them up there so got to get some credit.

15 Apr 2024 13:11:17
Letā€™s not go down the route of ā€œmaking senseā€ eh Baz? You flip your opinions more than that famous French guy; Phillipe Phelope.

15 Apr 2024 13:29:59
Sorry Brighty but your illoghcal stance on MCKENNA reeks of bias.

15 Apr 2024 17:19:38
For all I care, it can reek of dog turds Baz! Thatā€™s my opinion.

15 Apr 2024 20:02:03
It certainly does.

14 Apr 2024 17:55:31
I think I can sense discord among the ranks.
Players throwing A hissy fit when subbed, storming off at final whistle, this does not bode well for the rest of the season.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 18:09:28
Possibly 1970 the GR and JR hissy fit reactions were a tad surprising.

14 Apr 2024 18:29:06
Well that how us fans feel still they will still have the nerve to pick up their wages on pay f. joke.

14 Apr 2024 19:21:59
Farke allowing the tail to wag the dog šŸ¶ as has been the case at Leeds for several years now. Had he freshened things up for a game or two we'd probably be promoted by now and the squad would be in harmony. Also, reintroducing Rutter so quickly after surgery was a schoolboy howling error. Club run on emotions still.

14 Apr 2024 19:51:53
What are you on about whiteman?
All the players have contributed this season and played well most of the time. Weā€™re still in the mix for promotion and you say they donā€™t deserve their wages.
Are you a bitter little man who begrudges a man a very good wage because they havenā€™t lived up to your expectations?
Do mr a favour pal.

14 Apr 2024 20:10:05
Not the players' fault, perhaps only as much as 15%. Rest falls on Farke for rotation paucity further demonstrable by an act of madness subbing off our best 3 players in our last match. Agent Farke harbouring feelings for Canaries? Desirous of legitimate evasion of promotion payment to Radz? Who knows? If it was all accidental though, I'd hate to see šŸ™ˆ a wilful sabotage. šŸ§ ā˜ ļøāš±ļø.

14 Apr 2024 21:35:38
George, farke has a great rep at both Leeds and Norwich for not letting the tail wag the dogā€¦ look it up.

15 Apr 2024 11:01:24
I whinged about the substitutions.
But apparently Gnonto is still recovering from injury, as is Roberts and Gruev was taken off to push another attacker on
So my big beef is, why swap 3 at the same time and cause confusion until everyone settles.

15 Apr 2024 11:42:11
Gnonto looked fine, full of running, peeved to come off, 9 days recovery before next match

AG should have come off not IG fgs .6 attackers no midfield. certainly no CDM

Gruev stays on that Blackburn goal steaight down middle of pitch does not happen

DF disaster class. the defeat on him first and foremost.

15 Apr 2024 17:58:54
Home defeat was first of season and that is foremost

Farke matserclass.

15 Apr 2024 19:53:07
Totally what Baz said. Sadly, in a very cruel and depressing šŸ˜ž way.

14 Apr 2024 17:27:56
Bogusz scored another 2 for LAFC yesterday. A young, goal scoring, midfielder, good job we don't need one of them eh? That Ā£700k will bankroll us for years I suppose.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 17:47:11
Exactly right Rambo.

15 Apr 2024 07:40:24
3 goals in 8 games (in MLS) is hardly the prolific goal scorer ā€œanother 2ā€ implies, particularly when it was 6 in 66 the season before (across LaLiga 2 and MLS) .

I really liked Bogusz and wish heā€™d been a success for Leeds, but I donā€™t think heā€™d be near the first team if he was still here.

15 Apr 2024 11:25:00
So 9 goals in 74 games ( 1 goal in 8 (

as opposed to zero in 46 Kamara

or previously Adam Forsaw zero in 300

I will take the former.

15 Apr 2024 13:12:15
šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£.

15 Apr 2024 19:55:12
Baz šŸ“· would pass on the goal line and I don't mean near where Mes would most commonly be found.

14 Apr 2024 16:08:14
Liverpool's result today show how hard it is to break down a patient, well organised and focused defence.
Sometime - infact often - having too much of the ball, in todays counter attacking football, can be a bad thing. When teams come to ER we sometimes find it difficult to break them down. Having no really creative CM and no out and out goal scorer leaves us liable to a result like Saturday. Its no excuse but L 0 CP1 shows it happens to better teams than ours! Just saying!

Agree4 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 16:20:24 Haaaaa, anyone seen the refuse disposal experts?

14 Apr 2024 16:40:23
Liverpool have possibly done ( a bit) better than expected Georgey

Whilst the rumours of Liverpool interest have possibly gone to Summerville 's head with his recent lacklustre performances.

Not sure Liverpool even need CS, it's other areas in their squad that need an improvement in personnel.

14 Apr 2024 17:43:30
And looking down posts Aus also used ' tubbies ' referring and responding to the hot tub optimists Bright etc.

14 Apr 2024 20:15:07
If you want to monopolise this site, and just have your own little negativity, prediction backslapping, playground joke fest of childishness, you two are going the right way about it. Itā€™s laughably sad.
I think youā€™ll find even I resurrected that phrase this morning, tongue in cheek, but you canā€™t help yourselves. Never mind.

14 Apr 2024 21:37:00
Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds, Leicester

Lots of mangers should be sacked this weekend hey lads?

14 Apr 2024 14:00:39
I've just had a look at the player stats for yesterday.
It didn't surprise me to read that Joe Rodon was the poorest player on the pitch for us yesterday
He was at fault for the build up to their goal and stormed straight down the tunnel at full time
There's plenty on here who would have hammered Liam Cooper for making that mistake
Our best forward was Gnonto, with Rutter being the poorest.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 14:55:00

Its worrying when JR isn't even playing well.

DJ received second highest player ratings 6 out of 10 of all the front players from YEP, Leeds Live etc
Higher rating thsn CS, PB, GR, JP

Yet DJ is the one bizarrely getting bashed by the rose tinted tubbies on here.

Funny that.

14 Apr 2024 15:05:43
Question is Leeroy given. the past 5 games form, performances and results.

What is going to change for final 3 games for Leeds to win
#must wins.

14 Apr 2024 15:10:54
To be fair Baz, as soon as Dan James came on he immediately caused problems and it was a shame Gnonto didn't get on the end of his ping across goal.
Unfortunately, the players repeatedly kept the ball on the left instead of utilising Dan James pace and drive.

14 Apr 2024 15:26:31
Indeed DJ did . top fair post Leeroy

And YESSS what's with Leeds in recent matches playing always down left . its becoming uber predictable for opposition to defend against

Team tactics : give ball to. CS.

Not sure DJ is getting bashed BazšŸ¤”, I think most on here would accept he is one of the success stories this season for sure, along with many others at the club.
I think what people have mentioned is that for the previous couple of games prior to yesterday, he was really poor, and didnā€™t warrant a starting spot.
You are very quick (as we all are) to point out when players have been poor, so you have to accept the criticism towards DJ for the previous few performances.
I do think he injected some pace and urgency when he initially came on though, and the change almost worked!

Baz, the first thing would be to leave Rutter out of the team
It's clearly obvious that he's struggling after his hernia operation, which isn't helping the team
Second would be to stop repeatedly attacking down the left and mix it up to keep teams guessing
Put Gnonto on the left, James on the right and Summerville in the 10 role
Archie Gray looked better in midfield, with Roberts at right back.

If its any consolation, the top 3 in the Premier League are struggling to win their games too.

14 Apr 2024 16:46:10
MG, good post

I wasnt especially referring to you.

it was some of the other more biased tubbers šŸ¤£.

14 Apr 2024 17:05:03
So Baz, in your earlier post above you refer to Rose Tinted TUBBIES, which refers to us all of optimistic views being FAT, then in this one you refer to the Rose Tinted lot as Tubbers, so now we are posters who race bath tubs! What a strange ignorant man you are! Just in case you donā€™t realise you are also FATTIST! Not on Baz, not on at all, all because you donā€™t agree with peoples opinions! Wow well thatā€™s it from me as I wonā€™t be a part of that!

14 Apr 2024 17:35:25
Err Woody . you habe misinterpreted

I refer you to Brights post below

Tubbers as in Hot Tub ( the apparatus) . as in optimist.

Tubbers is what Bright below ( and many other of the optimists ) refer themselves to over the years

Tubbers / tubbies. as in hot tub apparatus. nowt else.

14 Apr 2024 18:30:00
That stemmed from the poster
(Axe in the hot tub )

He was of a Rose tinted persuasion seldom seen since Jackson Pollack unearthed a new shade of Crimson ā¤ļø šŸ¤£.

14 Apr 2024 19:33:06
CC šŸ¤£šŸ¤£. He was also a prize šŸ”§.

Jebus George. You really are pushing the boat out tonight to prove how small a man you really are! Very little indeed it would seem, to bad mouth a guy, who may still be reading, but not posting anymore, for whatever reasons. Truly very small.

15 Apr 2024 08:53:53
Axe was originally just ā€œaxeā€. A very good poster in here, but who got lots of undue stick due to his positivity. Itā€™s a strange world when being constructively positive draws criticism, (and name calling from someoneā€¦. )

15 Apr 2024 20:00:28
Brighty I recall a couple of posts from him that were at best borderline racist. He also gave brother Baz a hard time on a few occasions.

As for your alleged proof toward me, you know nothing about me rendering your opinion of supreme indifference.

16 Apr 2024 15:17:43
1 billion per cent correcr

As for Bright . he often contradicting himself . at times wholly contradictory.

14 Apr 2024 11:08:25
Whilst, I think, I like Joseph he has not had enough time to convince men one way or another and sadly this pressure cooker moment is not the ideal time to blood a young unknown.
Even sadder still our alternative is an experienced misfiring CF. With 5 games left we do not have the time to wait for him to regain his mojo.
So, how about a radical approach?
The easiest would be to play MJ from the whistle followed by Putting another attacker in the hot seat. How about making gnonto our fox in the box with the instructions to the others Just get it into the box as often as you can.
Either way we have a Big problem to solve come the close season. Che Adams?

Might wanna check fixture count Leo pal.

14 Apr 2024 13:12:48
I think it's a catch 22. Yes he's young, but he really impressed me against Chelsea. Everyone else in the team is buckling under the pressure, so he may as well be given a chance. Unfortunately, seems there is no one else who can score. I would also like to see us play 2 up top and mix up how we attack. We stick to to the left side, pass to Summerville and 90% of the time he is fouled or falls over. We also need to work on corners (attacking and defending) . I think cresswell would be useful for these. Yes he hasn't played alot, but he seemed to do well at Millwall last year. When I did see him play for us a while back, he has Antonio in his pocket. Whatever happens like all of us on here, I will continue to support us no matter what. MOT and fingers crossed for the rest of the season and a minimum of 7 points šŸ¤ž.

14 Apr 2024 13:53:03
MJ is 21 this year, he looked good in games he played.

DF won't of course.

DF lasting just one season in his previous job before getting the tin tack doesn't surprise.

Wanted to post yesterday after the game but couldn't think of anything positive to say, couldn't think of anything negative to say either - just dumbstruck!

From flowing along so beautifully before the international break more than one wheel has dropped off since.

As many others have said, the only saving grace is that Leicester and Ipswich don't want to win the title either but their fate is in their own hands, we are the ones playing catch up.

I'm forcing myself to be positive, so here goes - rewind 12 months; going down without a fight, on our third clueless manager of the season, an owner who no longer wanted to be there, a lot of players who no longer wanted to be there, and a director of football whom most of us no longer wanted to be there!

Fast forward to today - although the past five games have been far from ideal I for one have thoroughly enjoyed this season. We have played some lovely football at times, the players for the most part want to be here, the manager does know what he's doing (most of the time) and our new owners are genuinely interested in making Leeds United work.

And finally, we're still not out of this - come on lads, one final big push:)

Great post mate.

It is dissapointing but all three top teams dropped off showing it is not easy.

14 Apr 2024 09:54:18
100% with you on all that Cleggy, thatā€™s the spirit and our saving grace is that Leicester and Ipswich are also feeling the jitters.
I think if we can win these last three games were up, but who can tell wtf is going to happen in these last few games.
I you were a betting man youā€™d keep your money in your pocket.

14 Apr 2024 10:33:22
Top post Cleggy.
I'm still confident that there's going to be a couple more twists yet and we'll finish the season in the top 2
We are creating scoring opportunities, but they aren't going in
Tweek the attackers and the goals will come again, starting with Middlesbrough.

14 Apr 2024 11:03:37
Awesome! The Hot Tubbers live on, and live strong! Well said fellaaaaas!

14 Apr 2024 11:19:23
100% Cleggy, totally agree.

14 Apr 2024 13:59:50
Good post Cleggy.

Good positives.

Imperative that Leeds go up this season though as otherwise the manager will lose CS, GR, WG, EA etc in summer.

14 Apr 2024 14:26:56
With you Cleggy.

One way or another, it has been a great season, far better than anyone could have hoped for, given where we were in the close season.

We still have a chance and if it's to be the play-offs, so be it, another chance. Farke has earned these two chances. He's got far more right than wrong. When he has been wrong, and no doubt he's been off it since the break, the players have also been very culpable.

As you say one final push; every game is a lottery at this stage and you got to be in it to win it.

You then have to ask the sanity of wanting to be in the EPL; it is actually very unappealing:

> less prospects of winning games
> VAR
> hard [er] to get tickets
> likely more expensive tickets
> even more cheating

. and yet we are all desperate for it!

14 Apr 2024 14:37:14
Go tubbies.
Is that what you all really think or you just want to oppose negativity?
We had a great 2-3 months and we all were whooping and cheering. Myself included.
And then 5. Yes. 5. Of mediocrity and Iā€™m not cheering any more but the gun hoers are?
You either go on form or you donā€™t. ?

14 Apr 2024 15:03:27
Ainā€™t cheering Aus. Far, far from it. But I ainā€™t going to give up, like others have, when everything is still there to play for.

14 Apr 2024 15:09:49
Spot on post Aus.
