So all those wailing about only a point this mid week, we have kept tabs with Ipswich and gained a point over Leicester. More twists to come yet I feel.

Yet still 3rd Cuppa
with one game fewer
and Saints in 4th steaming up the straight like Red Rum š in his prime.
Leeds win next 3 games they be up imo.
11 Apr 2024 05:00:20
Will still be striving for 3 every game. But yes, the point has been okay this time.
One game fewer then Leicester only, Baz.
11 Apr 2024 05:55:32
It was an opportunity missed. We could have done better and had promotion in our own hands rather than still relying on others to fail. The top two win their remaining games we in play offs.
The criticism of players and manager this week have been justified. Simply not good enough not to beat Sunderland.
11 Apr 2024 06:05:43
Opportunity missed for all 3 Aus. Millwall or Watford hardly the cream of the division. At this point anything can happen we should be grateful to have collected a point.
11 Apr 2024 06:40:37
Well said Alf! The true ārealistsā recognise that this race is far from over, while the defeatists bemoan a point on Tuesday which could yet be decisive in our unexpected push for auto! There will yet be more twists and turns, Iām sure of that. Dare I say that we are not the only team at the top who have players looking a bit jaded!?
11 Apr 2024 07:59:32
We donāt know for sure there will be more twists and turns. They could win all there games. Not beating Sunderland is disappointing.
There would have been no one on here pre match that didnāt predict a win.
11 Apr 2024 08:56:49
Some very good points made above guys.
Whilst things are out of our hands at the moment and our good form has deserted us (temporarily) donāt forget Leicester are also struggling for form and Ipswich have still got to away to Hull and Coventry - I for one am very glad those two opponents are now out of the way.
Preparing for another rollercoaster weekend!
11 Apr 2024 10:31:55
With how the top three's form is recently don't think any of em will win all remaining games. So going to go to the wire. Saints arguably still in it too, although one loss would likely see them out of it.
About as much chance guessing which way a fart is going to blow in the wind as predicting the final league positions.
11 Apr 2024 14:16:41
Throw the grass in the air first dill. Will help you get wind drift. As long as not drugs mate. Thatās just stupid.
Iāve got a feeling. We shall see if Iām right.

Baz and George applying next time. They can then prove how much better they are at this lark.
11 Apr 2024 10:48:51
Just been reading about it bright. The 70 odd mil from raph and Philips save us from any danger and we go up all should be fine. If we fail to go up then the belt tightening will be starting.
11 Apr 2024 16:37:38
Cuppa who would you have preferred
Brenty? Chuckle brother? Or George and I?
( and we would only cost Ā£5 miliion in compensation)

{Ed025's Note - maybe their manager has not got a clue either Baz?.. :)
10 Apr 2024 22:58:09
Exactly Ed! And they didnāt have two clear pensā¦ he must be sacked immediately.
{Ed025's Note - and i know a guy who can be the one to tell him Bermo.. :)
10 Apr 2024 23:00:46
Lol Ed025
its very good news for Leeds if Ipswich have finally run out of goal scoring inspiration.
{Ed025's Note - i thought you may have been upset with that Baz?.. :)

Or were they unjustly treated by those beastly EFL officials
With four PGMOL apology letters on their way to sunny Portman Road.
{Ed025's Note - love it Baz..
10 Apr 2024 23:04:41
Iām sure Ipswich FC receive post like any club in the EFL George, nothing unusual in that.
No Baz, Lucky Ipswich simply ran out of luck, bit like your useless predictions š¤£šš¤Ŗ.
10 Apr 2024 23:40:24
Lowly Watford who we only just we only just drew with bright.
It's got to the end of the season where teams are gone or have something to prove and some silly results will happen.
Blackburn win big one week and get thrashed the next.
Who can predict what is going to happen next.
Strap in. We will have no finger nails by May.

10 Apr 2024 19:34:29
Well there we have it, confirmed that Leeds United have received six letters of apology from the PGMOL this season so far and thatās not including the two the club will receive for last nightās appalling refereeing.
Thatās the real reason we are not top of the league right now.
{Ed025's Note - fair point OP..

10 Apr 2024 19:52:13
Can't stand š·š.
10 Apr 2024 20:37:25
So are we the only team in the EFL to receive such letters?
10 Apr 2024 20:38:35
Last night's blatant handball, the second one, was a stonewaller. Unbelievable it wasn't given.
10 Apr 2024 21:02:44
And how many letters have other teams received Leicester, Ipswich Saints is the pertinent question?
10 Apr 2024 21:59:18
Not getting one stonewall penalty in any match is hard to swallow, but two in the same match smacks of something more than just refereeing errors. Especially when you see the positioning of the referee in both incidents. And the linesman, or should I say assistant referee had an even better view of the tugging on Rodon and handball by Oānien for the the second penalty shout. If Don Goodman says that they were both penalties, then you know something isnāt right. Shocking officiating.
10 Apr 2024 22:00:00
Who cares? Your sentiment is obviously against Farke
and anything that that might be a reason for not winning a game is solely his fault.
You are very one dimensional in your opinions.
Itās my way or the highway with you Baz.
Strangely enough Lucky Ipswich were unable to beat Watford tonight, that must mean McKenna has got it all wrong with his selection and tactics. !
Bit like Farke eh Baz?
10 Apr 2024 22:41:31
OP All managers make mistakes. Can you guarantee we'll trounce Blackburn 5-0?
10 Apr 2024 22:53:11
Err so if Ipswich have 8 PGMOL apology letters?
10 Apr 2024 22:55:51
Donāt ask me BobbyK, do some research mate and find out.
10 Apr 2024 23:29:15
George Iāll leave the 5-0 wins for Baz to predict.
Baz find out for yourself instead of making moronic and unintelligent suggestions.
10 Apr 2024 23:46:01
Stoke were robbed of a goal for and a pen against tonight another show of poor reffing. What are ref assistants for? They never seem to intervene.
11 Apr 2024 03:38:04
As per your request OP, I have done my research / investigative journalism.
EFL head office of Supremo Greg Dyke have confirmed that Ipswich have been sent EIGHT letters of apology from PGMOL
So your theory is debunked.
11 Apr 2024 04:28:45
* Rick Parry and ( ex Leeds Chief Executive) Trevor Birch of EFL.
11 Apr 2024 06:40:31
Donāt know where you found that information Baz?
Sure youāre not making that up to suit your agenda?
11 Apr 2024 06:50:27
Their letters were apologising for their crap fans tho Bazā¦ā¦ours were only for poor ref decisions!
I think itās time the Refs and liners were fully michād up, like the Rugby. Letās hear what they are saying, and get a sense of whether they are intelligent enough, or observant enough, to even work as quality control at a chocolate fire guard factory, let alone referee matches where Ā£ās millions are on the line!
10 Apr 2024 16:25:38
We always have difficulty playing teams who park up and drag back or bring down anyone who looks likely to be through.
They can do this because they know our corners or free kicks are easily dealt with, and of course refs are lenient, even with blatant penalty calls.
Don't blame them, its the best tactic to get a result.
Agree2
Disagree0
10 Apr 2024 16:59:04
Indeed Whitesee. Our lowest expected goals are both the games against Sunderland.
Our Free-kicks and Corner routines are really poor and have been for a long time. When I am at the game and we "win" a corner it always amuses me that the crowd goes all vocal and excited as if there is any real prospect of goal. I would hazard a guess that we have scored the least goals directly from a corner.
When was the last time, a Leeds player stood over a direct free-kick that any fan had any confidence would score for us; it's been a long time.
10 Apr 2024 18:40:21
Raph and esp King Pablo free kick masters
DJ started looking quite good on free kicks pre International break
Maybe that Amari guy might have been good on free kicks
George was right about the scoreline nil nil and imo Cressy goals
Still think we have missed out on a potential load of Cressy headed goals from set pieces.
10 Apr 2024 18:42:58
Last night I called in to my mates to watch the match, Steve whose house it was is an Everton supporter, while Tony and Andy are Man Utd fans, the odd one out was Gregg who is a Birmingham fan. Now then, Man Utd, Everton, Birmingham, my god do they all have major problems going on! Everton by far the most worrying as relegation is hanging round their neck, so 4 hours of banter and football talk, absolute heaven, but even though those supporters did not slate their team or manager, Everton lās board came in for scrutiny and Ten Hagg was mentioned twice, while Birmingham, well that speaks for itself eh! lol. My point is they all have worse issues than us, in fact lots worse than us, so why is it negative from some posters on here and not constructive criticism? Why is the negativity aimed so intentionally at some posters? This is one of our best seasons for four years, and may I add a lot better than a lot of other teams out there!
{Ed025's Note - well certainly Everton Woody..
10 Apr 2024 19:35:58
Woody mate perhaps they donāt have ambition like Leeds fans and perhaps they are happy with there team perhaps they donāt have quality sitting on there bench week in week out and a manager who brings on players who should have been on at the start not give them less then 10 minutes to work miracles perhaps we are more passionate about our team because we seem to have crap referees week in week out who knows.
10 Apr 2024 19:39:16
Woody perhaps to mate we play by the rules when others donāt and try to blame c.v. and when we donāt we get 25 points deduction with no right to appeal to get it reduced that why they all all happy perhaps.
10 Apr 2024 19:52:30
You make some good points Whiteman and I respect that, but maybe just missing the point that Iām getting at. We are 2nd, after 3 seasons of doing nothing, we have lots to cheer about and get excited about, last three game 2 draws one loss after an amazing run. Just one point I would like to say is that when we beat Millwall before the international break everything was great! So maybe not all DFās fault! Wales got beat, Finland got beat, we had 3 injuries from it and a few players with their heads down after defeat! Itās not all DFās fault and itās also down to the players mate, but good post. š.
10 Apr 2024 22:19:58
Ani you beat me to the point about corners and free kicks, but I have posted about this previously. We had 13 corners last night and I think it was 9 corners against Coventry on Saturday, and apart from the penalty appeal where Rodon was getting his shirt pulled and the handball incident in last nightās game, we havenāt threatened the opposition at all. Can someone tell me, do we have a set piece coach?! I know itās a ridiculous question, but I have to ask it.
Also our shooting in general is woeful. Summerville seems to be our only player who can kick the ball cleanly. What do they do every day in training?
10 Apr 2024 23:25:19
If we have a set piece coach, he must be on sick leave. Every element of our set play is really 2nd rate. From goal kicks to throw-ins, zero threat. Even last night as the game was nearing the end, we had a series of free-kicks and we were toothless with them. We didnāt even have the composure to hoof it up field and put it into the mixer.
On the other side, we have the most goals from open play and remarkably conceded the least from open play.
11 Apr 2024 03:06:50
C&J Gnonto can hit the ball clean.
11 Apr 2024 06:52:07
Gruev is also very handy with dead ball shots. Has only been allowed to take one, I believe?
11 Apr 2024 22:09:14
Not sure about that George. 6 minutes of added time, and itās the 96th minute against Coventry on Saturday we got a corner, everyone up, including meslier (not really sure why he bothered) and little Willy couldnāt get it passed the first man on the post. Whereas Summerville is normally consistent on kicking the ball cleanly. I sometimes think Rutter has on welders boots with some of his efforts on goal. Watch this, heās a cert to lash in a 30 yarder against Blackburn on Saturday now!
10 Apr 2024 15:02:36
Let, s not panic over the 3 results if we had a stable start like Leicester did and we had kept pace with them since Christmas we would have opened up about a 14 point gap now. Every team has a bad patch main thing is getting over it and winning promotion, look at the games Leicester have lost lately are they calling for the manager to be sacked I think not so get behind the boys especially Stuart and cheer them on to the premership.

10 Apr 2024 16:05:38
yep - most teams hit a bad patch from time to time and we are having that spell now. rotten timing maybe but regardless of when it hit our points total would have been the same. Just hope we arrest it in time for either still clinching auto or for the playoffs.
10 Apr 2024 17:29:01
Every team doesn't leave their best CF on the bench and in his place play an injury prone air shot merchant whose radar accuracy for goal equivalent to a hacked computer system navigating it's way through the Bermuda Triangle bearing a software c.v with no antidote.

lots of good seasons, goals assists
Always 150% dedication . one of the very best for dedication!

Wish him the very best in his future projects.
10 Apr 2024 14:49:49
Club talking to him about a role at the club, to retain his involvement. Hope they can agree on something.
10 Apr 2024 15:00:25
Man city goals a delight. Brilliant. My fondest memory of prem league revisited.
Great player. All of versatile talented loyal dedicated
And hard working.
Donāt trust Farke to time his swan song substitution right though. No chance.
10 Apr 2024 15:28:34
Gutted! Great bloke, good player and brilliant servant to club and country
I hope he finds success in his future endeavours.
10 Apr 2024 16:08:30
Sad news to hear he has had to call it a day. I don't think any of us thought we wouldn't see him in a Leeds shirt again when he sustainedhis injury. A great servant to the Club who always gave his all. His two goal performance at Citeh will live long in the memory. How fitting it would be if we were already up when we play Southampton and he could come on for the last couple of minutes.
10 Apr 2024 16:17:54
I hope they can keep him at the club in some capacity. Sad that he has been so close to getting back to fitness a number of times, then to have another setback.
Probably my favourite player since he came into the team.
We wouldn't have been so passive last night with the likes of him in the team.
Thanks Stuart.

10 Apr 2024 15:20:44
Didnāt post it for your opinion Baz because I already knew it.
Farke out now!
10 Apr 2024 15:30:41
Opā¦ that picture was never a foul,
Mind you the bloke kicking bamford wasnāt a second yellow
The stone wall foul wasnāt a pen
And the bloke jumping up and punching the ball was not hand ball so what do you expect
Farke outā¦ if he canāt get at least three pens a game he needs to go. Playing 12 men is no excuse!
10 Apr 2024 17:50:54
That particular photo was not a foul but itās the grappling and the pulling down our players that the image was supposed to portray.
I think rubbishing the players and the coach as if they didnāt care and not giving 100% is thing that I donāt like.
The international break brought injury, fatigue and disappointment back to the club with several of our players.
It hasnāt helped us at this crucial part of the season.
When slagging off certain players and our coach, just remember it was the same players and coach that produced that amazing record breaking run from the 1st January.
10 Apr 2024 18:26:20
Great post OP, in addition to your words I would like to add say, look at the players, Georginio, Cry, Gnonto, DJ and Bam Bam when they keep getting fouled, they look frustrated and angry at constantly being man handled and brought down, they do care and they do hurt if we donāt win! They constantly ask the ref to do something but itās always put down to our player moaning, then when we get a valid claim for a penalty itās overlooked because of the amount times we moan at the ref, this really is a valid point and itās noted that when we are allowed to play football we are superb but this is what happens when we canāt, it must be so frustrating playing football agains rugby teams! š.
11 Apr 2024 00:56:14
OP What do you expect from a club who has a player called Huggins (who we should have kept) ? š¤£.
