Bramble is available on a free. There is a reason why he is still unattached and that will be salary relative to his poor ability.

Wouldnt be suprised. 2 journoes who went 2 interview neil sullivan overheard the receptionist at thorpe arch talking to him on phone. he was enquiring about a trial.

ITunes free, I'm sure Division 2 clubs will be queuing up for his limited talent.

Bramble has always been know as " goal a game" because that's what he usually gives away . don;t want him thanks.

Even flopped a trial at his hometown club Ipswich a couple of weeks ago - no chance of making the grade at Leeds. He's as useless as Anton Ferdinand, we don't want either of them thank you free or even if they pay us to join!

. A player making his own trial enquiry! Amazing. Agents weren't doing well for the lad then?

I'm 100% certain I've just seen Bramble on a train in leeds. I was on the same train. The 12.18 to Doncaster. I got off in fitzwilliam and he was still on. He was in the end carriage with red beats audio headphones on.

Don't want to if that's true!

He was the worst centre-back in the Premiership and he would be the worst centre back in the Championship . He is slow overweight and bl**dy useless don't we have enough problems at the back, we DONT, repeat don't need him

Not wanted here.

I don't want Bramble because of his off field antics, he doens't appear to be a nice man. I don't think we would be interested anyway.
However, I went to watch Sunderland v West Ham last season and he had a storming game in a 3-0 win for Sunderland. he's not a bad player

I thought he was a midfielder. We have enough of those.

Bridcutt would be a very decent signing but I can not see Brighton selling tribe of there best players.

A good future purchase but he is a DM/CM player and not our highest priority.

Gordon Greer from Brighton I think as more truth to it than bridcutt.

Rumours Round Up:
Daily Mirror are today reporting Leeds are in talks to sign defender, 21, Scott Wootton from S**m. Says we could get him in a bargain deal, the player is keen on a move and that McDermott wants him in this weekend.
Tommy Rowe is not the player Brian was talking about yesterday. Leeds haven't been in contact since May the Peterborough chairman confirmed.
No clue as to who McDermott's key 4th signing is that he may have missed out on. Matt Mills has been strongly linked but Bolton would offload him in a flash.

Seeing as Brian said after the Chesterfield game that he needed more experience in defence, Wootton doesn't fit the bill

Think its Gordon Greer that BM wants, but club won't sell.

Johnny Giles was inexperienced when he was signed from MU and look what happened to him . now he's what a real LUFC "legend" really is.
If BMcD believes that Scott Wootton is good enough to provide the necessary cover at CB then that's good enough for me . I would much rather that he signed someone like him rather than the ageing rumours that persist on here . Bramble or some ex player or other . and who knows, he could become the next LUFC legend to be poached from over the hill.

Jonny Giles inexperienced when he came to Leeds? you are having a laugh, he was an established first team player and Irish International . He fell out with Busby, that's why we got him . Read his book its all in there .
I have seen Wooton play, he is big strong and fast for a center back, but a bit crude, same as Mcqueen when he came, so leave it to Brian to sort him out like the Don did with Mcqueen .

Think the mills deal is now history, wootton would be a good addition, as for rowe, unless dead wood is moved on asap, we can forget about him.

Very much so!.

Decent young CB. Be a good signing for the future. This would need to be a signing in addition to an experienced CB though. We seriously need a solid experienced signing at the back to help Lees and Pearce develop.

Comment 2 . you need to be realistic here, if BMcD manages to bring in Scott Wootton it will be his cover for the CB positions and the three of them . Wootton, Lees and Pearce will have to fight it out for the two available positions. The club seriously need to offload a few of the unwanted players before we can afford to bring in a fourth CB . and there are other priorities, wingers for example.

JDC Thanks. That was exactly my point. There's no point in us just signing Wooton because we need an experienced first team centre back in. He'd be a great signing for the future alongside an experienced centre back. Wooton is on a month to month contract at so the fee should be small of set by tribunal. Ideally we should have 4 decent centre backs at the club for competition and injuries. I've seen nothing to convince me that Killock is ready to step up to Championship football yet. Peltier can cover but with Byram potentially out for a while yet he will be needed at right back. Thompson was OK but not fantastic at right back on Wednesday night.
