I seen that we are in for a 18 year old right back from Luton town, now I will be peed off if we don't recall Lewie coyle and sign him, just don't see the point .

He is highly rated, but would be one for the future. probably the case of buy him now before his stock rises and would cost more. Can't see him being one for the first team right now. Berardi can do a job at right back so would be best to leave coyle at Fleetwood until the end of the season, he will learn more than sitting on our bench.

Gary Nadine could be on is way out of Bolton . Cardiff just had 1.million pound bid rejected. surely Leeds should at least make a bid. IMO think he's just what we need What do u guys think ? . A. L. A. W. MOT⚽⚽⚽

Total agreement Marko, think if we bought Madine and Hugil we will definitely make the playoffs. That doesn’t magically fix Keeper concerns, creative midfielder concerns BUT spending more time in their penalty box, with better goals converted ratio will cover our deficiencies.

Would definitely put a bid in for madine. And if Cardiff are bidding £1m then it should be in our price bracket surely to up the bid and secure his services. He puts himself about and can hit the net. Gave us problems that’s for sure. Then again. A lot of strikers do when we play them . 😃⚽️⚽️

Steal that, he will sign for either cardiff or preston and preston will sell hugill, but not to leeds. Two targets missed out on, typical. Same old nugent, grabban, fletcher, rhodes, afobe stories. Someones made a bid and leeds need a striker so link them to cause confusion. Were probably not even looking at a striker unless its for cultural leonesa

Gary Madine goal machine. or that's what what they sang at Carlisle when he was there. However it's his temperament outside football that worrys me. he couldn't go out in Carlisle in the end before he was moved on!

Nugent, Grabban (first time) , Fletcher and Rhodes were all with a different chairman I believe Samo so a bit harsh to use that as an example for what Radz will do. That said, we have also showed that we won't buy from English clubs so far so can't see any of the targets currently with Uk clubs coming unless there is some kind of super deal in the offing and nobody else is interested and if that is the case I would worry about the signing anyway.

Just heard a rumour De Brock also to be loaned out to leonesa until end of season surely not! They wouldn't would they? 😲

Saying that was the original plan to loan him straight out but with Aylings injury the plan may well change. So looks like we only planed to buy for the future this transfer window but due to suspensions and injury Are being forced to act.

Oh yes they would. And it's not even panto season. Getting a bit miffed with this loaning of players to this Spanish side. What about us Mr Rads?

10 Jan 2018 15:20:59
not being funny but when are this spanish team going to sign a few class players and send them our way? ideguchi, de bock, and bouy are all good quality players, ill be mad if this one goes.

Hugill from PNE the latest to be linked with Leeds - would be a good acquisition and comes with Championship experience.

Looks OK in mid table side, question is would he be good enough for the premier league? If the answers no then what's the point.

He will be good enough for Leeds though Martyn! Mind you we have Lasogga so we are fine! 😂😂

To get us to the PL? no point signing for a league we aren't even in yet and the price differential for a decent PL striker will be considerable.

I see we are in for yet another cast off, this time from Germany. His name is Charlison Benschop he has played only six times this season for 69 Hannover and scored 1 goal, he is out of favour and his contract runs out in the summer. Come on Orts dip your hands in your pocket and buy some in form talent and preferably British. 2nd is there for the taking! We were in this position with Grayson and Bates a few seasons back we just needed that final push to get us promoted and it never came. MOT

benschop would be a phenomenal signing and would score bags of goals at this level. Do you just wildly underestimate the Bundesluga or do you genuinely not watch anything but English, lower tier football. if a talent like that wants to play for Leeds, why are we demanding an British player ahead of a talented one? Christ sake

1 goal in 6 is lethal

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2018 07:43:21
1 in 6, in a TOP European league is actually not hideous. Even if he kept that ratio at Leeds, that would add 8 goals in a season. Also, 1 in only 6, what does that tell you? He isn't having a run of games i.e cannot get the confidence to bang them in. Surely with the recent strikers we've had here, we can all recognise how important confidence is in a forward. I remember at the start of the season, a young man by the name of Harry Kane who couldn't score for a whole month of games. I'm not suggesting they are the same level, but 6 games does not a good striker make. Just look beyond 1 Wikipedia stat.

Unproven in Germany and failed to impress with his last loan in Holland only netting around 12 times in 70 odd games. No evidence this lad is any good as yet. Grot scored a few in Holland and he is way below the standard we need. would be too big a risk imo.

If we still had Bartley Taylor and Wood would we be higher up table? Yes imo. Three big loses let's not forget that. I agree lots of buys are iffy at best but some can improve. The amount of stick Grot gets at ER is disgraceful for a young lad learning the game. Some fans can kill a player and it's just counterproductive. Anyway maybe by next week Rad will have brought in what we need, a striker and maybe another striker who are fit and ready to roll.

I agree about Taylor, Wood and Bartley CW, I would also add Cook, Green and Byram to that even though we let him go a bit earlier, and you have a solid back four with them and a good keeper, I even think we should of kept hold of Silvester the cat, and we should of pulled out all the stops to get Stockdale the Leeds supporting keeper then we would of been a different kettle of fish. Wood up front with Alioski, Roofe and Siaz, now that wolf of been good! Good post CW.

Picturing that lineup now mikey. stockdale, ayling, jansson, barts, taylor, vieira, cook, ideguchi, saiz, wood, hernandez. wow imo that's a premier league team.

Taylor was out of contract and Wood wanted to go. Not much we could have done about that I don't think.
