Cellino is looking at the possibility of cancelling Cameron Stewart's permanent transfer.

Believable100 Unbelievable8

That would be the best bit of business we could do this summer-I don't blame BM really for this one more GFH who possibly were worse than the dreaded KB, is that possible?
Kind of liking Cellino so far, not too worried about a 'name' looking after the first team as this guy Salerno seems to have a great record in transfer deals- provided he comes.

Agree4 Disagree1

That would be a good start

Agree3 Disagree0

If it can be done then it should be done, he did nothing for us and we don't need or want another liability.

Agree2 Disagree0

Like I have commented before Stewart the worst player to have ever worn the shirt, and there has been a fair few.

Agree4 Disagree2

Hurrah! The poor lad looked way out of his depth -one of the most lightweight players ever to wear the shirt, and one of the reasons, sadly, for the big nosedive in results from the New Year onwards. A disaster for the club, and terminal for Brian, who was doomed from the moment the teamsheet at Hillsborough was published. Would be nothing but a liability and a drain on resources for the next 3 years. Like the way Cellino is going about his business.

PLEASE be true! Could he please do the same with Hunt, Wooton, Norris, and even Austin. So with the other 6 or 7 we have released we need 5 very good players to mix with the likes of ross, murphy, mowatt, byram, pearce, and don't think we will be that far away imo. MOT

Agree2 Disagree0

Murphy can go thanks

Agree1 Disagree4

If CS has a 3 year contract, that's it, no way out, except mutually agreed. MAYBE he would go if MC paid half contract up.

Pre-contracts are not binding but a commitment to contract at a later date

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - they are still binding contracts in their own right mate, there will no doubt be penalties agreed upon if either party were to break the contract.}

The penalty will be a price worth paying to avoid 3 years of frustration, and even greater sums on wasted salary. Agree that surely we need to look at doing something about Hunt, Wootton & Austin -we'll get nowhere with such passengers on the payroll.

MC is trying to cancel Cameron Stuarts transfer to LUFC. He has until 1/7 and has instructed his staff to find a way of cancelling the contract.

Believable58 Unbelievable4

I'm liking our new chairman, that would be great.

Nick Hammond
Director of football @ Reading fc has issued a statement saying.

Dolan WILL NOT be joining LUFC the saga continues!

Believable31 Unbelievable7

Have to wonder why these persons allowed him to attend the interview then, without any comments?

Agree2 Disagree0

4alongtime
I guess the statement is just to bump the compensation up if he does go!

(only my opinion)

Reading have issued a hands off warning for Dolan after interest from a championship club!

Just a way of upping the compo we fork out

Agree3 Disagree1

Left it a bit late then? After an interview?

Agree1 Disagree0

Eds can he sever his ties if he hands notice in as we all can I would assume with little or no compo does anyone know

{Ed013's Note - He can resign, but Leeds would have to pay some sort of compensation package}

Ed13, thanks
So at least if he is in the frame it's better for LEEDS if he resigns .at least compo will be of a smaller amount for MC to have to fork out as poor buggers has more loose ends than a bloody seamstress thus far oh by the way ed do you know if GFH are sharing pay back of the d haigh loan at all.? If not surely MC must be able to have grounds to boot the blood sucking leaches from our club once and for all any smart lawyers out there to have an idea?

{Ed013's Note - It could cause a long drawn out process before the situation would be closed, so I imagine a compensation package will be settled prior to his appointment. That is if he takes the job}

Application to wind up Leeds United dismissed. But club WILL now pay £950,000 loan to Sport Capital (eg David Haigh) by next week. Will this mean even less of a transfer budget or Rosco being sold on? hopefully now though we can concentrate on moving forwards and planning for next season. new season, new future . MOT

Believable25 Unbelievable6

Not over yet!
Final decision by Italian judge
on yacht /tax case, must be due soon.

Agree1 Disagree0

The sooner this mess is sorted out the better otherwise we won't be signing anyone

Agree1 Disagree0

David haigh, the so called life long leeds united fan, some fan ehh!

Agree3 Disagree1

No idea why everyone keeps thinking
1 cellino has no money
2 tax case in Italy should effect us
3 we are going to go down
4 no transfers

1 Cellino is possibly the richest chairman we have had
2 tax case result should not effect him as the FL can not force him to sell the club
3 why would he want to see his investment loose money and go down a league
4 see above

Lets stop with the doom and gloom. He will pay sport capital and we will move on think that is 3 or 4 winding up orders he will have paid out. I have not seen him do anything wrong yet give the guy a chance

well said Spain , some people really are clueless, or just trolls

Agree0 Disagree0

Case has not been dismissed at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

The winding-up petition issued to Leeds by Sport Capital has been adjourned but the case remains live and the club have been ordered to pay back £958,000.

BBC Radio Leeds understands they have until 23 June to pay back the money.

Agree0 Disagree0

With the money MC has that's like a "tenner" to you or me!He has money, he won't chuck it about like confetti, but being sensible, he will question where the money is going, it's like moving into a new house and having too pay the previous occupants gas bill! You are bound to question that, as for rosco well he could always p-off too some nobodies in norfolk!Great career move!Win now't, achieve n'owt!lol
