Edoardo Cellinos twitter stating that leeds have signed a new left back be intresting to see who it is
and seen as how we are on the lookout for two new keepers would love it if Adam McCarthy came back kid is one of the best keepers england have produced in a long time although he is undisputed number 1 at reading that bentley kid at southend has a lot of potential too

Believable21 Unbelievable25

Rumour has it that it is Matthew Briggs from Fulham

A few rumours it's Aaron cresswell, I certainly hope so

I think you meant ALEX McCarthy?

Agree4 Disagree0

It's Matthew Briggs from Fulham. Surely this will mean time up for Pugh.

Agree2 Disagree0

Someone like George Friend? Presumably Warnock will be listed then, in addition to the release of the hapless Pugh? Personally, I wouldn't object to leaving it to White and Taylor to fight it out. Chapel A

Agree3 Disagree0

Jesus, check out Briggs' credentials -a grand total of 30 career appearances since 2006! Including 13 for his parent club Fulham throughout that time. All that by the age of 23! No wonder us hardened know-alls haven't even registered his existence. Please no. Chapel A

Cresswell is Southampton bound according to my mates in Ipswich to replace Luke Shaw

Agree1 Disagree0

Tommy Rowe at Peterborough is out of contract we were linked heaverly in summer last year

Agree2 Disagree0

Rowe is a decent call. Chapel A

Agree2 Disagree0

McCarthy will go to a top PL club and we couldn't afford him anyway.

Agree1 Disagree2

Cresswell will probably go prem but would be a brilliant signing. Tommy Rowe is old news. Charlie Taylor sounds possibly ready to make the step up so would be disappointing to see him not given a chance.

Agree1 Disagree0

Harry mguire and assombalonga

Agree1 Disagree0

More likely to be Charlie Taylor's new contract offer. New, may be a red herring.

Agree3 Disagree0

Matthew Briggs has agreed to join us at the end of season

Believable30 Unbelievable19

Excuse my ignorance but who is he?

Agree1 Disagree1

I will tell you who he is not quality that's for sure 23 years old made debut at 16 against boro been at Fulham since 12 years old not really filled potential bellythewhite

Agree2 Disagree1

Who indeed?! Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree1

To be fair to him he has been injured for quite a bit but agree hope we get better quality than him and he is not the LB being tweeted

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope not, really no improvement whatsoever. Give Charlie Taylor a chance next season.

Is Mauricio Pinilla to be the first to sign for the mighty whites, the 30 yr old Chilean striker is leaving Cagliari for pastures new, even though he has a contract till 2015. I am fairly sure he played for hearts, so no culture shock for him. thoughts. MOT

Believable7 Unbelievable37

He played 2 games for Hearts. He had a lot of injury problems

Agree1 Disagree0

Not another 30 year old. Would prefer the 23 year old Colombian lad if we're going to go after one of their forwards. Chapel A

Agree1 Disagree0

He denied joining us a couple of weeks ago. Non runner

Saw it on ssn.com - your club - Leeds Utd, that he had no intention of coming to Leeds or england for that matter! I'd love to see ibarbo or if that fails a Cameron Jerome 'type'

Agree2 Disagree0

Pinilla and that Conti guy (their 35 year old over the hill captain) are the 2 players to distance themselves from a move so far. Ibarbo and a couple of young hungry Italians would be a good shout

Noel Hunt is to be put on Transfer list due to high wages

Believable65 Unbelievable6

Good. .

Agree2 Disagree0

I cannot see anyone want a striker on high wages who cannot score goals

Agree4 Disagree0

It could be the best news of the summer if we can sell. Failing that, contract cancellation will surely follow. Chapel A

Agree0 Disagree0

Let me see no goals 20k+ that won't be easy to sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

This is great news, but just who will buy him when he can't even score?

Agree0 Disagree0

The lad plainly hasn't been doing his job description(striker/goals) Surely that's enough to come to some mutual agreement for the contract to cancelled!?

Posted at 8.00 this morning. Massimo Cellino is preparing to hand over Cagliari, while the owner of Leeds United has talked about the financial situation of the English club.
These are the words as reported by La Nuova Sardegna. "We have tens of millions of pounds in the red, But I'll never get Leeds into administration.
Administration has never happened to any of my companies, and will not happen here either.
Debts are higher than what I expected, But we'll get through. I'm used too problems, if you need to mow the grass (refers to personnel cuts).
This is a wonderful adventure that will target a return of Leeds United in two years in the Premier League. "

you just got to admire this man, every other day there is another pile of crap comes his way, yet he remains optimistic, just like a real Leeds fan. MOT

Are you saying he as sold Caligari?

Original poster. hope this helps it is 99% done. yesterday.
A consortium of American businessman continue to take steps to purchase Cagliari from current owner Massimo Cellino.

The American’s Italian representative, Luca Silvestrone, arrived at the club to inspect the facilities.

Silvestrone was accompanied by architect Dan Meis, who is currently designing a new stadium for Roma.

Together Meis and Silvestrone visited the stadium Friday morning, before meeting with Cagliari mayor Massimo Zedda as the new owners look into the possibility of building a new stadium ahead of a possible purchase.

Cellino has owned the Rossoblu since 1992 but he recently became the majority shareholder of Leeds United in the English Championship.

I heard last night that Ross is leaving for Newcastle for £10 million and £40k per week. Done deal.
It is not a new figure as Ross says we were offered £10 million by Cardiff in January.
This is great business for us and a great move for him.
Good luck to him.

Can't see Newcastle paying £10mill for any player never mind someone unproven in the prem.

Agree4 Disagree0

10 May 2014 12:37:56
Pretty sure loic rely is number 1 target for Newcastle in the summer!

Agree1 Disagree0

We were never offered 10 mill for him in jan i'm sure figure was a lot closer to 4-5 mill. 10 would be great but can't see that being the case

Agree2 Disagree0

It was £6 mill plus his wage which came to £10 mill.
Leeds would have only had the £6 mill.
However there is some truth in this post.
