Alan Smith definitely wants to return to Elland Road, Newcastle would rather flog him for cash in January but Leeds want a loan to bolster the squad after a few up and down performances.
Personally I know someone who absolutely adores Mr Smith and wishes shed bought the winning Euromillions to save tight ass Bates from getting out the dusty old wallet. .but never mind. .on a serious note though these rumours have substance it's just a waiting game with the Toon playing hardball
