Sorry to ask, but is this Japanese fella, the one we were after a few months ago and then he was suddenly tracked by another club with Japanese owner or sponsor or something? Orta announced it as a massive possible signing and we were all wondering if it was Messi or Ronaldo?

Japanese international midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi for £500k is more or less a done deal for January. Just awaiting a work permit. he will go out on loan for the rest of this season and then join the squad at the beginning of next year.

bargain. No midfielders to be signed in january then. Doing business early is what we like to see and could be a raw talent. a bit optimistic but known as 'the japanese kante' i think that's based on his position and potential though, not quite current performances. Makes the suggestion that we will get any business done early in january so come february all the players we need will have had time to adjust to life at the best team in the league

My brother in law works for a football stats company and this guy came up in their top 20 up and coming future players based on their football algorithms, I know that doesn't mean he's accomplished anything yet abd may still be a bit raw but it hopefully means he should be of good calibre. Hopefully everyone will give him a chance before writing him off due to his small transfer fee as usually seems to be the case. Maybe we've got another Saiz bargain on our hands? I'm glad we finally got it over the line as a few months ago it looked like it had stalled and we had missed out on him. Good work I say!
