I'd be interested to know how much of these people are actually Leeds fans and how many of them are just people trying to have a go. Pointless comments just trying to get us Leeds fans down. At least if your going to post stuff like this, say where you get your information from instead of just rambling to annoy everyone. We will just keep being patient and see what happens. It will need to come to a head sooner rather than later.

Boycott E.R. Why, it would feel more like I had let the manager and team itself down if I was to start doing that, there are to many so called fans only posting to rant on about Bates, it's getting well boring.

The only thing a boycott of ER will achieve would be to send the club plummeting down the divisions ... and when that has happened and the club's in the mire and struggling to stay in existence then Mr Bates will have achieved his stated amition ... ignore him and support the team.

Investment would be nice but it isn't the be all and end all of football. Put yourselves above all this money, money, money. To say not going to ER because of bates is daft, what have you been doing last few years. Teddy out of the cot because we haven't become some rich foreigners latest plaything. Derry and or Jenas wud b great loan signings but there's also free agents who wud do the same job. Nigel Reo-Coker n Owen Hargreaves. Ok Hargreaves has had horrible injury problems but a step down to championship level wud b quality in my opinion.

To the guy saying 'wot the hell do we want Derry for' probably because when he was here is was hands down our best player? Also was one of the first names on the teamsheet for QPR during their promotion campaign. But to the OP i think their wages would be far too much for us mate.

According to national newspaper, neil warnock is currently working without a contract this season and bates has refused to pay for loan signings, now warnock is ready to walk, what started as exciting times at leeds is now a shambles, sick of bates doing this to our club!!

An Abu Dhabi English speaking rag is not a national newspaper! Perhaps the Middle East consortium are trying another tac to put pressure on Bates?

Warnock is not working for nothing! He is just not tied down to a period of work i.e. 12 months contract.
This means that Warnock can walk away from the club with no come back because he has not broken his contract! So at the moment Warnock is able to stay or go as he pleases and by all accounts he is close to leaving due to the lack of support from Ken Bates and the undermining of his position by Glyn Williams!
The sooner that the rest of the faithful understand that then the sooner the pressure on Bates to sell can be cranked up!

Didnt say he was working for nothing hes getting paid same rate but its rolling contract and not tied down for season so can walk away at any point , can you honestly see him staying if he cant get any loan signings? Go on news now theres a link to story there

What the poster wrote is true because i myself have read same thing but what isn't true about what weve read is the fact warnock is working uncontracted.
If everyone remembers, warnock contemplated walking 3 weeks into his contract which ends jus before end of this season.
I believe warnock and bates will of had words but warnock being the stubborner of the 2 got his way.

If warnock leaves then it will still only b a max of 10% of fans that will not support there team as the other 90% of fans r real fans n support there team no matter what but ppl expecting big unrealistic buys r obviously supporting the wrong team so jog on n stop your pointless moaning n making out you know more than anyone else as no one with a brain will fool for it

I am a f***ing leeds fan and i was only pointing out something i read, i want us to do great this is a rumour site so why cant i put info on that ive read i dont know owt about national paper i read link from news now page, if you dont want this info go on a different site

So many persons commenting on this to all those people that are slating him and calling him a town fan i have read this article too. Not saying that i believe it but it has been published and i challenge you that are saying he claimed Warnock isn't getting paid then take a quote out of the original post and tell me cause i cant see anywhere 'Warnock isn't getting paid' in his post. He is on a non-contract deal (REMEMBER JUST LIKE DIOUF WAS UNTIL VERY RECENTLY) but we was still paying Diouf wasn't we? Rant over.

Our fans are the best there is and even if some persons boycott games we will still get massive gates and bates will take it out on team when we need signings in jan, i feel our squad is good enough to get to jan in play-off then we get on at him! Somma back in 3 week, paul green back in two!

Everything everyone writes on here is speculation . hear say. pure and simple. the takeover by the middle east consortium had the deal agreed on the 24th june. kb changed details at last minute thus m.e consortium didnt miss deadline but kb pretty much forced them to delay.

the meeting on the thursday just gone didnt improve anything and expect an announcement on friday the 14th of this month. be it good or bad i dont know buy my money on the latter. keep hope hate bates

Neil Warnock's future as Leeds United manager has been cast into doubt by a dispute over expensive loan signings from the Premier League.
Warnock, who has been working without signing a contract for the current season, is pushing his club to use the Championship's emergency loan system for new recruits in central midfield and attack.

Currently seventh in England's second tier, Leeds have been hit by injuries to vice-captain David Norris, Ireland international Paul Green, and the experienced Michael Brown.

Warnock wants to cover for them by taking Jermaine Jenas or Shaun Derry, a pair of Premier League midfielders stuck on the periphery at their current clubs.

While Tottenham are open to the idea of Jenas, 29, finding playing time away from White Hart Lane, they are only prepared to cover a percentage of the England international's salary. QPR will also expect Leeds to make a significant contribution to Derry's income.

Leeds, however, are one of the rare Championship clubs who keep wage costs significantly below turnover and are limited in the amounts they can offer.

Warnock has also proposed taking Sean Scannell on loan from Huddersfield Town, just two months after the Ireland B international joined the Championship club from Crystal Palace.

"We want to look - if we can financially - to bring another forward in because we're so thin," says Warnock, who has frequently talked about Leeds' straitened finances of late.

The 63-year-old spent part of the summer outlining his plans for an expensive restructuring of Leeds squad to Salem Patel, a broker representing a part-Bahraini consortium that tried to takeover the club.

Although a deal was agreed with Ken Bates to purchase his majority shareholding, the group failed to meet the payment terms by the July handover date and now seem unlikely to complete.

Bates is understood to be unimpressed by Warnock's activities in the transfer market, which have included several attempts to press Leeds' chairman into signing players.

According to several sources, Warnock has been dissatisfied with the resources available to him to secure promotion to the Premier League, and has discussed the possibility of walking out on the club.

Thought NW contract was till the end of this season??

This article was written by Duncan Castles, who would probably write that ER is sitting on top of an unexploded UFO power core if he thought it would cause the club some consternation. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.
