Wex Every player in the world is for sale at the right price. All talk from managers is just that. Big decisions about selling rest with owners and I guarantee you if ridiculously big money offers get made players shall be sold all the time. Interest in Wood gives us an opportunity to profit, be more financially secure and get a replacement on the cheap.

Yes on the right as usual 🤣 but no on TC talking with AR. It's standard procedure. When has any manager truly said a player is for sale? Such rhetoric hints at a firesale. The art of selling at top £ is to play it just right like TC is doing. It won't stop the bids. It never does. If it did, why won't Brighton and Burnley issue statements to the effect TC Leeds manager says CW not for sale so that's good enough for us? !

Not saying he will be another Bamba just saying his performances towards the end of last season and the game against PNE have been below par compared to his great displays early in the 2016/17 season.

Second bid of £16m put in for Wood from a different Prem team (unnamed) , also knocked back. I mean if we do accept £20m for him Sheff are looking to offload Rhodes. £7m-8m for him with £13m in change might not be the worst bit of business ever as much as I'd like him to stay.

It's a no for Rhodes from me as well. If he isn't cutting it at Weds, then why would we expect him to do what we know Wood can do ! . He wouldn't get 20+ goals a season. If we do sell Wood for £18m, then I suggest we spend all of it on another sure fire goal scorer from somewhere, and not necessarily British as they are all over priced!

Lasogga worries me a bit, he has averaged a goal every 3.35 games throughout his whole career, especially with his reported wage too! However his fifa 17 rating is alright ;) .

Rhodes won't score 20 a season? He is one of the most consistent scorers at this level. hasn't worked out for him at Weds but he had been sat on a bench for 6 months at Middlesbrough. 19, 16, 37, 28, 25, 21, 16 are his goal tallies for the 7 seasons before, the ones with less than 20 goals he missed a handful of games. If we can get him for less that £10m when teams are paying £15m for 15 goal a season players its a no brainer.
