DH sister works for Enterprise Insurance.
MD of which is Andy Flowers, who is selling his shares in enterprise and buying LUFC.
Cheers
Tone
(look at one of the press releases which states takeover done by friends and family of DH)

Press releases say no such thing. They say its high profile english based business men never mentions and of haighs family or friends.

Journalist Alan Nixon has reported that this consortium consists of mainly "Family and Friends"

The press release from the club is the only one to believe. Everything else is as the site says just rumours. No matter what journalist Alan Nixon says.

Well done Tone, it is my understanding for the last week or so that it is the guys behind our main sponsors, for which Mr Andrew Flowers is MD of Enterprise (Formerly MD of Alliance & Leicester).
So 'may' minted, although I would have liked Red Bull myself - Now that would have been interesting in the world or European football!

Don't want Red Bull anywhere near LUFC thank you . or an owner / chairman like Hull Tigers, disgusting.

I agree usual practice would indicate generating interest leading to a home game. Brighton comes to mind

Gboly ariyibi signed a 6 month contract, 18 year old ex-saints academy player looks an amazing prospect

Just checked him out on u tube, def got something about him

If he's that exciting why did Southampton let him go and two other clubs have turned down the chance to sign him? Think you rumour is true that he's been given short term deal however disagree with him been very exciting.

Didn't he have trials at Bolton and Bristol City. and they were not interested in signing him
Agree1
Disagree0
Because Bmac thinks he has talent and that's good enough for me.
Agree4
Disagree2
I think it is more Redfern that thinks he may have something rather than Bmac
Agree1

Maybe we've spotted something in him that Bolton and Bristol didn't. Just because a player has been rejected by a couple of clubs doesn't mean they have no talent. Manchester United turned down a teenage Roy Keane and Newcastle rejected a teenage Alan Shearer!

He has been on trial for a couple of weeks or so

Yes I see what you mean, just like Warnock spotted something in Ryan Hall

In McDermott/Redfearn we trust

Hence the reason warnock is no longer here ;)

Saw him play for under 21s v crewe he was pretty good a wide right player and there were at least 5 scouts there that game I think he was the one they were looking at in case leeds didn't sign him.
Agree0

'Yes I see what you mean, just like Warnock spotted something in Ryan Hall'. the difference is Warnock was never a scout ad didn't have a clue. don't understand why people are being negative about a player they have never seen play!
Agree6

If McDermott rates him then that's good enough for me
-------------------------------
Have you not seen how Hunt, Smith and Murphy have got on?
Agree1

Dont you just love it when fans think they no more than mcdermott haha get a grip he was a scout for 10 years does le fondre name ring any bells

If McDermott rates him then that's good enough for me

Have you not seen how Hunt, Smith and Murphy have got on?
-------------------------------
Hunt has been injured and knowing his injury is not surprising he's not been on form. smith has been the best partner for Ross as most goals per game have gone in when these two have been up front. Murphy started slowly but was amazing against watford man of the match by a long way for me
Agree4

Whet you forgot about le fondre is he was banging goals in before he signed for reading. Lower league yes but still competitive scoring lots xx
Agree0
Disagree0
Whether he scored goals in the lower leagues or not what's that got to do with owt mcdermott spotted le fondre and signed him.
Agree0
Disagree0
Shane long was another player signed by mcdermott for 30k so any fan out there doubting are manager and his signings need to take a look at his record
Agree1

Just to add about people saying he's not good because he was rejected, Leeds rejected signing Michu last year. Leave that there for ya.
Agree3

Let's stop this bickering. Give the boy a chance, he might be good, perhaps one for the future. Also it can give us something off the bench when things are not going well to change games. Which we have not got at the moment.
Agree1

And Leeds once looked at George Best. Says it all about the small minded so called fans, give him a chance and support your team.

When I did a quick search for him, had a look on a saint forum and they were saying he looked like a good prospect and where surprised to see him released

Leeds didn't reject Michu, we couldn't afford 2.3m
