listening to results on radio 5 live tonight, reporter said that gfh buyout had solved nothing leeds still a troubled club with no money, also said people where expecting positive moves in the transfer window and all that happened was a swop deal with leeds top scorer leaving, never can a takeover have fallen flat so quickly, its worse now because the takeover gave the fans hope after years under Bates, Bates is still at the club and still running the club, was there a takeover or not, nothing seems to have changed just same old same old, the clubs is stagnating at best strangled by lack of investment on the pitch leading to lack of quality and short term fixes, we are more likely to be relegated than promoted now and relegation could take this once mighty and feared club into to the abis

Believable63 Unbelievable17

As a Leeds United fan for over 40 years it breaks my heart seeing what Bates has done to our great club. I for one have just about given up hope and fear for the worse. I subscribe to LUTV to keep up with the news and game highlites but will let my subscription lapse. I have never had a second favorite team in the UK been loyal to the Whites. My enthusiasm has been sapped and I am close to just giving up. One Leeds United fan in North Carolina.

Agree4 Disagree0

Its time for the fans to strike even if yo love Leeds like I do, we need to totally abandon the terraces, vote with your feet people. Haigh, Patel and Warnock there's a bus leaving town and we want you on it. MOT

Agree3 Disagree1

Until Bates is gone there will not be any real change, and anybody who thinks he deserves to be president after what he has done to our club is very deluded.

Take your money and leave Bates, you are no longer welcome or wanted here.

Agree5 Disagree0

I agree entirely with the OP its a sad day when the club we all love descends into this shadow of a team.

Our club is being run by people with no interest in LUFC whatsoever, they are purely in this for their own gains, end of!

As much as it pains me to say it ( As a LUFC fan for 20+ years ), the only way to deal with these people is to hit them where it hurts - In the pocket!

They are people driven purely by money so, while ever there's 20,000 turnng up every week, they'll carry on as they are and nothing will change.

What would they do if the next 3 home games only 2,000 turned up, or less

Voicing your opinions at them verbally is like water of a ducks back to these people, so as hard as it is I know, the only way to make them get the message is STAY AWAY until something changes.

If you are going to keep turning up every week, then there's no point moaning about it on here.

This season is finished anyway now, another wasted year - So for the remaining home games, hit these people where it hurts -

In the pocket and STAY AWAY!

Stagnating too harsh a word. We have stability. We had good sense to get rid of Becchio and swap him pretty much like for like with someone who would sign a 3 year deal. No promotion but no relegation either. Acid test in summer. We need to spend 20 million in order to have a go. I say we need a new quality goalkeeper someone as good as Martyn or Robinson at peak of their powers, another quality center half, a creative midfielder (that will cost the big bucks), a fast winger who scores goals and 2 more strikers and we will be fine. Only 6 premiership class players are required. Only if we don't spend the 20 million will I be concerned.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 million!! you must be joking. this lot have not spent 20 quid. Warnock has lost it (if he ever had it). he's signed Tonge on a 3 and half year deal and he can't get in the team, he signed Hall and clearly thinks he's not good enough, sold a striker that gets goals (thats a fact) and replaced him with a striker that can't get in the norwich team. I've watch, loved and supported Leeds United for over 40 years and never felt so disheartened. we will be lucky not to finish in the bottom 6 on current form, never mind the top 6.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates always said he wanted to finish us[leeds], looks like he's going to get his wish.

Yep just tweeted warnock has said Barkley gone back as he couldn't guarantee him a game,
What was the whole point of that pointless excercise.
Norris, green, brown, better? Mmm. shrew leeds

Believable50 Unbelievable5

All the best Ross Barkley, I love leeds but under this regime both manager and so called new owners- you are better off out of it.

Agree3 Disagree0

Thought Barkley was the only performance which warranted comment in the games he played. And then Neil said he sent him back cus he couldn't guarantee a start? you mean we have someone who plays with more desire? I like NW but lost the little enthusiasm the buyout brought. This season is now a right off. See ya next year

Agree4 Disagree0

Just shows how misguided Warnock actually is. Actually giving up the last chance we have to use one of the best players we have had on loan all season.

Agree1 Disagree0

Warlock said he wanted to retire on a high perhaps his high is to see the team he used to hate get demoted he certainly is going the right way about it

bit too late now seasons over he should of gone after barnsley embarrassment

Agree3 Disagree0

If as we expect we lose on sunday, that's is elland road not seeing 20. 000 attendance again this season. GFH. WARNOCK PLEASE GO.

Agree4 Disagree0

I would love to go into a 50. 50 challenge with some of you lot – though, there wouldn't be one, as you would have decided you wouldn't win the ball before you even tried! We are 8 points behind with 45 to play for! We haven't got the results recently but the performances have been better. Keep the faith

Bye bye Warnock, hello Adkins!

Believable55 Unbelievable12

What about giving Simon Grayson his old job he is as much Leeds as any fan.

Agree1 Disagree4

Atkins will not want this job

We are no longer a big club

We are the next Portsmouth

Agree1 Disagree3

As much has I liked grayson I feel we need to move on from him adkins for me also!

Agree5 Disagree0

It's irrelevant who the manager is, without investment on players we will never get promoted. Mr Adkins will not come to Leeds with the current financial situation. He's not stupid the team needs a complete overhaul. My prediction is Warnock will sign fir another year.

Anyone would be mad to join us, whilst GH (D)F (S) Sale and robbery is going on. They can't even get a takeover right, and end up with the former owner as chairman of the board after forking out £52million (?) for a team with no stadium and no training ground as assets, and diminishing assests in the form of attendances. When will someone learn, you cannot just make Leeds fans take, you've got to give.

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree get him out now why we still have time for a massive final push

West Brom are eyeing a summer move for Leeds United full-back Sam Byram, 19, who is also being tracked by Liverpool and Everton.

Believable38 Unbelievable11

Were rubbish,, its getting fustrating now looking at results?

Agree1 Disagree0

Another loss?

Agree2 Disagree0

May as well go Sam because if you want to better yourself no point stopping at a third rate feeder club for Norwich.

Stephen Ireland to sign next week as he has been told to train with the youth team and also Stephen Warnock has highly recommended him to the club.

Believable13 Unbelievable33

We have not got any money to sign anyone never mind Stephen Ireland

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he comes

Heard from a good source that Steven Ireland may be joining Leeds from Villa on 93 day loan in next 2 weeks, was hoping to strike a deal for George Boyd but loan fee wanted from Peterborough was too high

Believable17 Unbelievable14

You saw Hull wanted Boyd but they opt out due to fee being to high and Ireland training with the kids at villa so you fought I make this rumour up saying were after them
It's on the tv gossip page

Agree1 Disagree0

Another player whose best times are far behind him if this nis the best we can hope for we stand no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need another CM, Austin, Brown, Tonge, Green, Norris and extend Barkley loan.
We do though need a winger

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope he doesn't bring his ghastly Range Rover with him. The ultimate tacky footballer's car.

Agree3 Disagree1

Forget his Rangey, check out the Bentley!
Can just see that outside Billy's bar!
Teeth

Agree1 Disagree0

Ireland can play on the wing.

Agree1 Disagree0

We don't need a winger as Warnock does not play with wingers, that is like saying we need a sweeper
