Id drop hernandez to a deeper cm role, and play ekuban or roberts in his place in behind lasogga, just gives us more pace up top and hernandez is a better cm than phillips anyway

Anything terry Venables came up with should be dismissed out of hand immediately Looking at that formation it smacks of " no width " Lassie needs crosses. they've been rare . So saiz and hernadez will have to go wide They're easier to deal with out there Not sure that works best for us No crosses means ekuban for lassie as he moves the opposition back 4 about making room for saiz . who needs freedom to roam and pop up in the pockets or behind full backs. Plus he needs to pull the trigger more. you need 3/ 4 behind him as he's not going to defend much So it's saiz or hernandez, playing both is a luxury I'd like to see Philips foreshaw and viera given a go. Just to protect that back four Win the midfield, win the game Dallas in place of alioski who needs that inner ear issue looking at & we really, really need to get on the front foot and dominate Love hecky

I'd be happy with that. If Lasogga wasn't working you could swap him out for Ekuban and you've got Dallas in the wings, so to speak, to sub in at almost any position.

When all are available Hecky has such a brilliant problem of who to drop. Thankfully for him some are making that decision a little easier.

I might get shot down for this but the last time we had a big man upfront scoring goals we also had Sakho starting on the right. Give Alioski a rest and hopefully Sakho might come good

Sacko has a lot of speed but not much else. Get the feeling Alioski has it in him. Just need someone to bring it out. Hopefully PH is that someone.

Alioski does get fouled a lot but dosent get the free kicks he deserves because he dives so much. I agree though. there's a good player in there. There isn't with sacko unfortunately.

Whether we all like it or not the chances of getting rid of a full squad of players aren't very high so here's my take for what it's worth:

in goal lonergan will go happy enough to keep felix along with a young lad but signing a good quality gk is a must.

In defence think we are ok at full back with ayling berardi and coyle with de bock and Denton at left back. If de bock isn't the answer then maybe need another at left back but all in all it's not a bad selection

but in the centre it's totally different with just Jansson cooper and Shauns I think we definitely need 2 new centre backs after Pennington goes. In centre mid depending on formation it's a hornets nest but I think 1 more experienced 1 to help out would be ok along with Forshaw vieira Phillips and okane.

In the wide areas I honestly think it's a mess with only Dallas up to scratch alioski maybe not a bad option off the bench but that's it though I would like to see alioski on the left and actually try and beat a man a ping a cross in as far as sacko goes the less said the better.

At number 10 its saiz plus 1 other. Up top we ain't blessed in that department either roofe is potentially a back up striker that's it and the rest ain't good enough so by my reckoning we need a goalkeeper 2 centre backs 1 centre midfielder 2 wingers and at least 1 striker.

7 1st team signings isn't a lot to ask for it's time to give the u23s the 1st team cast offs and improve them if they can or else get rid of them. 1st team squad players I'd sell are lonergan Anita sacko klich and grot. That's my take fellow leeds brothers feel free to rip it apart or suggest the possible 7.

Shankil, what about Dallas at left back? What about Struijk, O'Connor as CBs? What about Ideguchi cmid? What about Roberts, Ekuban, Wilkes, Grot next year? That's without mentioning Sarkic, Temunozhkov, and other u23s. We are not that bad off if they all click even if they don't there is cover.

Truth be told I didn't include the u23s because none of us know how they will develop but forgot about the Japanese guy thanks for reminding me hopefully he comes good though he's getting very little time at the Spanish reserves

Ideguchi can't get a look in with a team bottom of Spanish second division. Doubt he will be any good We definitely need anothER CB and 2 wingers. Keep dallas and alioski but 2 more wingers. Sako can go. Rubbish. Wr will need a striker because lassoga will go. Grot and cibiki not good enuff ekuban and Roberts have got potential but er need a proven scorer to come in and start

Totally agree wrighty
