Even 'if' and that's a big 'IF', we get to the playoffs, and by some miracle we win, what will we do next season?
Warnock will stay which means the football will be horrific. Is it likely he will spend money wisely? I think not. He will insist on playing players out of position or playing rubbish like Peltier.
Personally for the sake of not getting humiliated next season, I would rather not get to the play-offs.

Nothing wrong with Peltier as a cb. He adds a bit of pace.
If we do go up we will buy a new 11 players and this reasons 1st 11 players plus a few subs will be the fringe players.
I would rather go up and get demolished every game and get relegated rather than spend next season in this league.

Last season bates got warnock in till the end of this season to do one thing and that's to get us promoted it doesn't matter if warnock does get us promoted or not we willvprobably not extend his contract bates stated that when we got him

Did you go last night? Have u seen the massive improvement over the last few weeks? I think back to how awful we were round Xmas and how we are playing now. The difference is enormous. And to call peltier now who has improved a million per cent since he was moved to centre half is crazy. U keep your negative comments elsewhere

Agree3 Disagree3

OP here. Yes I did go last night and quite frankly it was dire. What exactly did Peltier offer? He was too affraid to stick a foot in, let far too many players past him. Granted sometimes he can put a shift in. However, he is inconsistant and my point is he would not be able to perform at the top level. The performances may have improved. But we can't finish the game and put it to bed. I will still support Leeds till the end but we won't get play offs and I personally don't want to go through it. I think i'm entitled to my own opinion whether it be negative or positive.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at the game last night and they struggled to pass the ball more than 12 feet and there was no penetration up front, it was garbage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with first post in all fairness. There's not a lot of improvement. Think we gone from a below average team to a some what near average team. I can't wait for warnock to go if am honest. Get a new man in and work with a team base around byram lees and Morrison. But get warnock. The man is clueless. Can anyone tell me the point of the point signing hall for him not to play. The boy has got speed to burn. We lack goals and don't throw on our back up striker. we play a midfield with a combined age of 90 for 6 games flat then says it because they are tired.

Thats the first game Peltier has had at centre back where he got a bit of a roasting from a forward ( Gayle ) so he has been consistent, one iffy game doesn"t make you crap. The fav players can have a run of bad games and nothing said Peltier is just an easy target when you don't get the result you want.
First half Peterboro looked a better team than Cardiff so though I agree we were bad 1st half I do think at least over the last month or two we have tried to pass a bit more than earlier in the season and at times we do look as better and had we played this way early doors we would have been in a far better position

"I would rather go up and get demolished every game and get relegated rather than spend next season in this league. "

Me too, think of the massive 'parachute payments' that they reward total failure with.

. Not only could we buy a whole new team, we could buy a whole new club!

Guys get off warnocks back, he's had his best players sold, no investment and a load of stick from fans. And do you know what despite all of this we are still in the play off mix. Get a grip guys.

It is fairly apparant to anyone with an IQ of over 10 that we will not get to the play offs.
However the game against posh I thought was in the top 5 home games for entertainment! Plenty of effort but lacking in skill and quality but still very watchable unlike the dross we have had to endure for the most of this season.
Simple Answer - we require money and on the budget we have been given don't think God could get us up!

I don't think we'll get to the play offs either, but that's got nothing to do with how high someones IQ is! There is still a chance that we could do it, but let's face it we have been around 10th all season and I think that will be about where we will finish. Having said all that, the crucial thing in the summer is to get the right manager in. In this average league you don't need to spend crazy, just look, for example at what Holloway has done with Blackpool and now Palace.

It's not over until the fat lady sings. remember we only got up out of league one in the second half! Keep you nerve guys, its not over year. Everyone is wobbling! One win gets us right in the mix, let's beat Huddersfield then I kid you not it is absolutely game on!

Peltier has been quality at cb silly lad!

Agree0 Disagree0

Peltier seems to be a scapegoat for some reason. Same with Varney, and Warnocks supposed hoofball. It all comes from the sheep, who just say what someone else has said, and say it with some sort of authority which they obviously don't possess, hence they become the sheep. Inferior human beings. Boring as well, bet youll be complaining about the season ticket prices next,, blea, bleat,,, bah.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't bother worrying bout the playoffs because there's no chance of that happening {Ed013's Note - Always a chance}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well no actually, I think the prices are fair.
However, in MY OWN opinion, not what someone else has said (believe it or not some people can make their own judgements, why slate someone who dares to voice their opinion?) Peltier isn't a quality player and as soon as he comes up against a pacey forward he panicks. That's MY Opinion. And I have said I don't rate him all season.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a bit daft, to be honest. Come on, if by some amazing miracle we ended up in the Prem in August, NW would be out of a job anyway by November at the latest if, as at QPR, he proved that he couldn't hack it at that level. At least we'd then be in the Prem, and in a position to recruit someone decent -or at least take our pick from a bigger pool of managerial talent than at present, in the Champ. Of course you have to take your chances in football -as in all sports- as and when they arise. Opportunities are often few and far between, so you have to seize the moment when it comes. There's rarely going to be an ideal time -there will always be something that's not perfect. In that sense, if you're not careful, tomorrow never comes. Chapel A

This must honestly be one of the most bizzare statements I've ever herd lol

Im not even going to make a comment because i'm sure everyone (regardless of iq) knows how ridiculous this is ha ha
