Not sure who the new signing is never seen him play before. Can anybody tell me if he's any good? Being better than brown would be a consolation.

Not really sure that how a player performed in 2008 is relevant. In fact YouTube clips in general are hardly a reliable source. More encouraging are his club and international records IMO
I think this signing is what we need, although when you're saying look at the youtube video of him in 2008 is a bit useless, have a look at Michael Brown in 2006, 2007.. looks magic, what happened to him? {Ed045's Note - Very good player, always playing in the international side, good gritty battler for the ball, just what we need alongside Jonny and Clayton

Know a thing or two about this player. He would be a decent signing in my opinion. Protect the back four. We are not going to acquire a better player than Vayrynen during the loan window and for the limited funds we have available or Bates is willing to commit. Bates needs to make sure of this one. Clean sheets starts with a decent no.4. We don't have one.
If he's match fit would be a decent signing, cant be bad if he is always in finnish international squad.. will defo be useful need more experience
Wooohoo agree 100% with post -don't know much about his ability but at least we have signed a player to play in the holding position - perhaps Grayson will drop Howson and play him with Clayton then we can look forward to happy times.
Grayson will never drop Jonny, neither should he do if Jonny's played in his natural position. You can play Jonny at the top of a 3 or in a 2 if the other one is as effervescent as Clayton is. Jonny has quality but should be used to his strengths.

Why would they be releasing him? and no personally i would not have him back if he is not good enough for ipswich then he is not good enough for leeds imo, he chose them over us so he can do one clayton and howson are much better tbh and brown is just as good as him also.

Alt, so what would be the point theres already a glut of nowhere near good enough players hough he was a great player for us and was treated very badly by the then board of directors there is no way i would want him back , obviously his best is way past him ,so what would be the point , theres already a glut of past it not good enough players in parker , connolly , brown , paynter , bromby , o'brien , we don't need another , just have a decent starting XI and let the youth fill in where and when needed
