Hear from a very good source Leeds are keen on signing Joe Cole from West ham and he has stated that 'finances are not important at this stage in his career' Hope this is true because he is the type of player leeds need and would be a great signing for us.

Not what we need

Agree5 Disagree1

Don't need him. Has been

Agree5 Disagree0

What are U2 talking about we don't need him course we do he is better then any player we have at this minute take it U2 don't watch us much he would be easily be 1 of the best in championship without a doubt

Agree1 Disagree5

{Ed013's Note - But I still haven't found what I'm looking for}

WE'D BE GOING BACKWARDS,,,,

Agree1 Disagree1

Why do we need ANOTHER player that can only last 60 mins? We've got two already it's a no no for me I'm afraid ;(

Agree1 Disagree1

What's he got left. A season, 2? We're better off going with someone younger with a bit of pace. He's being released because his days r up! Like I've said in precious posts. I'd rather have Lloyd dyer

Agree2 Disagree0

Has been? You mean a bit like Strachan was….
Can't see him coming to Leeds but if he did I think he is exactly what we need.

Agree0 Disagree2

I know Joe Cole personally as he is my 2nd cousin. He loves London did not enjoy his time up north and this has not been mentioned to me through the family (which I think it would of as they know I am big leeds fan) can not see this being true but would be great he still has a lot to offer and would be great in our league but can not see him leaving london for yorkshire

Agree3 Disagree1

MLS Bound.

Agree1 Disagree0

Hi is a very good player and he would do a great job for us but I would be concerned about injury's with him. He would be the best player in the championship by far. I think we do need a player who has experience and who knows the game.Hes far better than anything we have or have had in the past 8 year

Agree1 Disagree1

No thanks.

Agree1 Disagree0

Not April the 1st again is it :-O

Agree1 Disagree0

I heard the interview. He said he wanted to go to an ambitious club, play in the middle of the park and finances were not an issue at this stage of his career, he just wanted to play football. He would be fantastic sitting in the centre of the park controlling the game. To those who said he is a has been. he is younger than lots of our midfield and he would be a star player in the championship.

Agree2 Disagree0

Beckham played for PSG for nowt. (ok, so donating his fee to charity was probably more to do with avoiding French tax on his total wealth).
I'd love to see Joe Cole in a Leeds shirt. His game has always been about touch, not pace but, can't see it happening.
Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure Benny Carbone would be a country mile better than our current dross, even at his age. Maybe he could be convinced to register?

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems whenever a player from the premier league is released, someone on here decides they're coming to Leeds and they're going to take a wage cut on their 5+ figure wages just to play for Leeds even though they have had no relationship with us In the past. Amazing.

Tommy Rowe has been released from Peterborough but Leeds won't be going back in for him. Rowe is going elsewhere

Believable25 Unbelievable38

Like where?

Agree1 Disagree0

Who cares? Need to be looking at getting players better than this.

Malaga are readying a 6 million pound bid for Ross Mccormack.

Believable37 Unbelievable66

For which leg?

Agree5 Disagree2

The one he's pulling I think

Agree3 Disagree0

Snatch their hands off. That offer will not be bettered.

Agree3 Disagree4

Wrover you for real, hard to think he will go fr such a small fee. bid will be bettered if not keep him 29 goals worth more than 6 mill (not that I think he will score as many next season)

Agree3 Disagree0

He will go if McDermott goes, no doubt about it

Agree1 Disagree0

Malaga
Banned from ANY European competitions they qualify for unless they settle any debts they have outstanding.
I'm lead to believe this is for the next 4 years unless they pay money owed.

On that proviso it looks highly unlikely Ross will be in Spain next season ;(

Agree0 Disagree0

Bermondsey W.

RMcC 29 goals in Championship. Lewis Grabban 22 in same league. Grabban 3 million bid from Cardiff City accepted. So anything greater than that seems about right. As I said at 6 Snatch hands off.

Agree0 Disagree1

Euros or Stirling

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrover the troll, turned down 6 in jan, not going to accept 6 now, bournemouth had a release clause on grabban, we don't on ross

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a Troll. Wait and see shall we.

well. this was also on ssn this morning. The original post said that they were putting a bid in - not that they would be accepting.
