This is true,my mum does cleaning at the hotel where David haigh and Patel stay whilst in leeds anyway,I spoke to her today on the phone and she says they are not booked in tonight,and surely they need to be in the country to sign the papers so its not gonna be tom defo,so don't get your hopes up,I would mention the hotel but she swore me to secrecy.

Papers can be signed anywhere, so another useless rumour.

Not necessarily... Haigh and Patel have been Elland Road regulars recently, theyre clearly wanting to be in the limelight, so I wouldnt be surprised if they wanted papers signing in front of the press. After all look at Forest, they went all extravagant at the City Ground when they signed their takeover (allbeit in different circumstances)

I'm going to say this is believeable. :)

haha. brilliant.

Although i seriously doubt this post, there is no reason why the cleaner wouldnt know who was staying in the hotel, i have worked in several top hotels and the information of guests is easily available, believe it or not members of staff do talk to each other, especially "high profile" guests. i doubt that any official papers that are signed related to the takeover would be signed at ER or TA, they could be signed anywhere in the world, and we already know that the solicitors for GFH are a london based company.
I think the facts of the matter are, that the relevent papers have been signed and are awaiting to be sanctioned by the football league, i know we have all been waiting a very long time, but it really is looking like the whole saga will come to an end very shortly. lets hope that our new owners really do have the passion and drive plus the funds to push us on and get us back to the PL, lets face it, we have been far too long in the football wilderness, time to turn the page and start the next chapter.

Looks like what ever happen with the current takeover people are lining up to buy us.

I suspect this is a person approached by GFH to be part of their consortium, who has given up waiting for them just like the rest of us and wants to go it alone.

I think if the so called takeover doesn't happen this week we can expect more bs takeover bids for the next twelve months,with no or little investment in the team and more bloodsucking from kb,dark times ahead,

Time to forget GFH. I know a lot about Private Equity and this is not going to happen. Its gone on far too long, Mr Haigh is a chancer as are most expats living in the Middle East.

Bates is doing what he does best,..shafting all who he enters any kind of business negotiation with. I have to say i wouldnt go anywhere near bates to do business. Just get your fingers burned and your pockets emptied. Just like he is doing with lufc fans. bates is now soliciting other bids in a hope of somebody gazumping gfh (bet they are regretting this whole saga). Namely his mate from u.s and now this rumoured saudi bid. Bates will be in charge at end of the season and we will be back in league 1.

As for the delay with gfh taking over, will be bates negotiating over every lightbulb, carpets, curtains..everything! Its what he does because he's a person;;]];t. Eating the heart and soul out of this great club of ours.

He doesnt care about leeds, and to be honest isnt that bothered if we dont get to pl. He will make sure he makes a profit by selling players if necessary, and will take immense pleasure in watching us rot in c'ship.

BOYCOTT ER.

Let him know you as a fan have some say in this.

There will be no takeover, no money, no new players coming in ... boycott ER, they are taking the Pi** out of us now and enough is enough, im not paying £30 + to watch Sunday morning football

Its ppl like you that bring shame on leeds as a club as if you were a real fan then you would stick with the club in good and bad times so do us a favour n boycott the game alone n dnt return to leeds. if leeds were in division 2 id still b supporting them as thats what real fans do so jog on n go and support mancity n there millions.

Also tell me what game/s you thought leeds played like a sunday league football team? v watford? we had pearce sent of and austin injured so hardly gonna win with 9 men so i wnt accept that as sunday league football so now tell me what game we played like a sunday league football team?

As for the proposed take over, you know nothing as to whether it will/will not happen, whether there is money or new players.
As you have to pay £30 to watch them play, which probably means you are not on the board of directors, and therefore, not privi to any information. So in my opinion, you should can your doom and gloom outlook on life and buy another 4 cans of Special Brew

I am 47 years old' I could cry over how we are being treated. Its just getting out of control the way we are being robbed with the entrance costs, £4 programme, £3.50 a pint in the members bar and in the ground, the food is expensive and yet we are 18th in the second tier league with no squad. Its time we started rebelling its supposed to be a average persons pleasure. Its just becoming a rich Sky T.V global sport. They don't care for us no more, football is heading global,. Derby Tickets £32 Kids £14 .50. Last week £30 pounds Burnley come on its costing a fortune.

Just because you support the team doesn't mean your willing to let Bates horse whip you round town.

I have been boycotting the game ever since Bates took control. I will support Leeds as I have done for 30 years. But I won't play a part to his destruction of the club. When Bates leaves I will return.

Where has all the money gone from the sale of all our top players. In his Monoco bank account and it is persons that keep going that his fuelling his desire to stay.

I agree with all of the replies, if you want to boycott then do us all a favour and do just that. Anyone who boycotts their club isn't a true fan anyway. I'm assuming that you also boycotted when we started on -15 points in League One? We overcame that adversity and we'll do the same again. I know asking for patience may be stretching a bit now because this takeover saga has gone on longer than it takes Jamie Carragher to finish a sentance, but there is nothing we can do about it. So now, we look forward to Millwall away and every chance we can get three points - JamesC

Its nothing to do with how cheap it is we support the club not Bates. When Bates goes I will continue going like I did for 20 years before Bates took control. Until then I am an armchair supporter.

Anyone that follows Leeds blind with Bates riding you like a palameno deserves all they get. So don't come on here moaning and then going to every match. Stand up for what you believe in no matter how much it hurts.

No need to buy £30+ tickets, there are thousands of cheaper tickets that remain unsold every week at Elland Road.

Every away game ticket I've bought this season has cost me more than any of the cheaper tickets abailable at ER.

Another myth created by folk who just can't be @rsed going anymore but use ticket prices as their excuse.

Il always support leeds even if they were non league as thats my team who iv supported all my life n obviously ken bates needs 2 go now but not supporting the team cus its 2 expensive for you is pathetic as new owners aint gonna make it cheaper for you so get a pay rise or just dnt go but dnt come on here telling ppl 2 boycott as some of us can afford to support our team. plus this crazy idea of ppl ruining our club cus we support them n not boycott is pathetic. make your own choice n stop trying to get ppl 2 boycott as 99% of fans r still supporting our club its just you 1% that think your doing good by not supporting the club lol crazy ppl

First post. Agree with you mate. Although to be honest I watch a kids under 18 team and they play better football than LUFC. They pass, move, short balls, they have pace and guess what they are top of the league. They even beat a strong open age team recently. jD

Why always the same answer to everything with you. Botcott this that or the other as long as it hurts the club we should boycott it. And you say you are a fan, you may be but not of this club

Neil Danns tweeted that he will be joining a club on loan today. Worked with warnock at palace a few years ago. Matches our needs now too see as Rudy is injured. I think it could be us!

Wont be Leeds thats far too an ambitious singing for us.

Why do we only seem to go for players that warnock knows, and why can sheffield wednesday be going for connor wickham, and we dont even get a mention - just the sort of young midfielder we need, especially with rodolph out for a while.
