Leedss trying to sign Emyr Huws from Man City on season long loan as from next season, currently with Birmingham, and a full Welsh international at only 20.

NOT the type of player we need. We ll get him and he'll be terrible like Wickham, Vokes, Livermoore, Bannan, Smith, Mcsheffrey.
We need experience, Micheal Doyle / Jonathan Douglas type players.

In my opinion we should keep ross mc and get a striker next to him like yeboah. This would be great for Ross to have a big, strong striker that's able to score next to him. Go easy first time

Ive been saying that lately. Jozy Altidore type player

The current bun saying Ross mc cormack is Leicesters number one target for next seasons premier league campaign.
Will be hard to keep him, so how much is he worth?
I think in excess of 6-8mill

This will be a good test for MC, and BMcD if he's still here. I agree little chance of keeping Ross, but will be interesting to see what fee they can get - sick and tired of our decent players been let go for next to nothing over the years. I'd be very interest to hear from regular match goers (sufferers), who we have that we really need to keep at all costs. Is there anyone? Sam B?

Why would it be hard to keep him, Cellino doesn't sell his best players. And fester will only be prem for 1 season

4mil! If Leicester's main striker is McCormack next season then they'll be straight back down, he's alright but 8 mil is just stupid
Agree3
Disagree2
What he is worth is only part of it. MC doesn't need the money from the sale of ross so unless they are willing to offer a good amount MC has no reason to accept the bid.

Id let him go, 6m is way more than he's worth imo.
Probably gunna get slated for this but I think he's overrated and won't no where near as good next season.

Vardy and a few million would do it, I know they won't let vardy go. Can't see it myself Pearson seems to sign young pacy players like we should be.the new lad they just got from France for 600k is some player. Just showes if u have a good scouting system and a good manager u don't have to spend millions. Since Pearson went back they stopped signing players for silly money and ended up promoted.

Id. Say 5 mill would be a good shout

I think if we could get 6 mill out of Leicester then that would be very good business. I really like McCormack and he has been excellent this season but I can't see him being much of a threat in the Premiership.

I'd say that RM, Byram and Pearce are the 'big 3' that we have to keep. I'd also keep the following, and give them the chance to prove their worth: Lees, White, Mowatt, Dawson, Murphy, Smith. Warnock, Peltier & Kenny can stay and see out their contracts (though I would let those 3 go if anyone else wants them). Everyone else needs to go ASAP. Chapel A

He is the only player at elland road with any form of class would rather let sam bryam go as I think sb is over rated, error prone and made of glass. think what van woflskinle for norwich signed for I think ross is worth around 6 but wouldn't let him go for less than 8 if we don't need the money, we should built our team around him, like with snodgrass not let him go

Pearce in our prized 3 he is pony mate he looks scared of having the ball . Our scouts need to stop looking at poor British players and look abroad

Pearce a pony? i'm sure you can't have watched any games this season he's one of the only ones with an ounce of passion.
Agree2

Yes I think Pearce is pony I've been to half a dozen games this season at Elland rd and he doesn't impress me. It's my opinion chief . I think we need a total overhaul in the summer. Does having Ross up top stifle other players . Passion don't keep clean sheets . Composure and talent do.

I would take 6 million and Wood from the foxes then we can use that 6 mill to strengthen the team
Agree1
Disagree0
6 million is a great shout and get 2 fast forwards who knows where the net is Matty fryatt is a good player who has scored goals for fun in championship
Agree2
Disagree1
Surely it's more important to hold on to ross as he is proven at championship level- need him to get us out of this league -worry about him as a PREM player when we are back there
Agree1
Disagree0
We shouldn't be letting him go full stop. If we're going to win promotion we need to have a spine in our team then build around it. McCormack is very much part of that spine, like city's is kompany toure and ageuro. The annoying thing is some people who are saying oh let him go for such and such fee, will be the ones moaning when we fail again next season after letting one of our key players leave. How are we supposed to win promotion if we let the leagues top goal scorer and no doubt our player of the year leave.
Agree1
Disagree0
I don't get why people are saying to sell for big money, surely the point now is we have an owner willing to invest in the team! We have a proven striker who we know will be key in a promotion push, can you guarantee that with any kind of money. Get rid of the deadwood and use the wages to get in some players that can do a job. People are always on about spending X million on players it's the wage bill we need to sort out and not waste money on players that can't cut it! It's the first time in years we have an owner in MC that can shake the club up a bit it's his own cash and he will only get a payday on promotion so will have to succeed one way or another! MOT exciting times ahead (fingers crossed)
Agree1
Disagree0
How are people even considering saying they'd let him leave. We are not obliged to sell any of our best players and RM is by far our best player, we're not a club that is desperate for money. I think BM will still be here next season and he for 1 will not sell RM. 4/5mil is crazy talk. We rejected 6 from Cardiff. So if there was a price it would have to be above 6mil.
Agree1
Disagree1
Its not all about what the club want to do ultimatly itll b ross that decides,, given what he's witness over his time here noone could blame him, u can be damn sure that before he consideres anything jes giing to demand to be top paid player, rightly so, but that's going to put him on 25k+, which can't happen and probably isn't worth it
Agree1

It was 4mill from cardiff from what cellino says?
Agree1

Has to be pointed out; we may need to sell McCormack to balance things out with FFP rules, given our current financial woes. Not many of our players are worth proper money. Millwall might pay something for Steve Morison but, not much. Don't shoot me down or go on about how Cellino's worth loads. I'm just making the point; FFP changes things and it's not quite as easy, these days, as having a billionaire descend and throw his cash around.

Cant see that seems how Leicester have Vardy, Nugent and Wood already? don't want Ross to leave, but if it was money plus any of those 3 strikers, i'd probably take that.

I agree with you on FFP situation but!
QPR were paying guys 100k a week when Redknapp went in?
Leicester are spending a fortune on wages?
Reading spending a fortune on wages?
We have better gate receipts than these clubs so how do they get away with it?
Agree0
Disagree0
They don't get away with it, as such; QPR and Leicester are both posting massive financial losses and the debt becomes restructured (in the same way as Bolton, where a huge loss is incurred and then bundled up and swapped for equity. club would show it's debts cleared and so, free to make another massive loss and the merry-go-round continues). If Leeds were to try that, we'd get the book thrown at us. If Leeds can't be demonstrated to have done anything wrong, they'd just change the rules to show Leeds had but, as we all know, Leeds doesn't exactly get impartial treatment from the footballing authorities.

Its down to "Owners" buying equity to bring debt down to FFP levels. If that doesn't happen hen "Sanctions" applied.
RMc is realistically only going to command a fee of 2-3 million.
