Craig dawson rumoured to be on his way to leeds in a £1.125 million deal aslong as we also take dorrans for £2.35 mill. Combined fee of £3.5 million

Warnock said we couldnt afford 1.2 for wood so how can we afford 2.5

1.125 + 2.35 = 3.475....therefore we are being robbed of 25k....never become an accountant please

Couldnt afford woods wages. however since then we have taken gray and rogers off the wage bill and I'd imagine preston are paying majority of connolly's wage. Its a good sign we are at least moving players out dispite not making any new addition to the squad.

Firstly it's Strachan, and he never said anything about Ross leaving Leeds to further his career, so stop spouting garbage.

There are a few scot internationals that play in the championship, and lets face it at least 50% of the teams in the championship could play in the spl, hell snodds was playing scots intl football whilst at leeds.

Mac moved South to further his football career as the Scottish league is not exactly brilliant. Hardly wise words from Strachan who should concentrate on improving Scottish football in Scotland. didn't he previously tell all the best players in Scotland that the Championship was the place to be and then dragged a ton of them down to play for Middlesborough

If McCormack has to leave to prem for international who do Scotland normally play upfront? Rhodes cams and McCormack sh*t unlucky Brighton and Blackburn too

Bosselli wouldn't be bad . everytime he plays for wigan he seems to score bet he'd do well

After the goal he scored lats night, yes please.

Boselli is a top notch player never given a chance at wigan went to seria a did well went back to argentina scored, and he is a perfect replacement for becchio and becchio has been a legend for leeds and deserves his shot at the big time

My pal at game said there are rumours going about that Becchio has refused to play for warlock ever again after his post Mach comments at Barnsley, hence warnocks comments we need a big game from Becchio, Then he can again blame him tonight when we lose

I understand Warnock's comments being offensive to the modern day Leeds Legend.
If you don't get any service at all what do you want the man to do?? Then for Warnock to basically say he isn't interested any more and doesn't care about Leeds it is fully understandable for him to be furious.

I'm hearing strong rumours ( Albeit they are only rumours at this stage ), that Warnock has 2 games ( Tonight and Sat V Bristol see ) to save his job.

I know he appears to have let slip what promised to be an outstanding career in football but he is a true leeds fan. I think if we got him in on a free (low risk) then we should go for it. He will be at the club he supported as a lad which may give him the motivation to achieve what he promised in his early years. I don't think he will expect anything near what his last contract was - maybe £5k to £10k a week?

We were keeping tabs on him last year so I could see this being a feasible deal

Offer him a deal i say but make it short term with the club option of making it longer. make him play some reserve matches put him on a strict diet manage his injuries, if that doesnt work maybe a stint at tony adams second chance place might fix him up

Then take a look at the guy and you will quickly see thay he's doubled in size and has an alcohol and partying problem. I don't think any team should consider giving him another chance. He is a waster, the classic example of someone having it all and throwing it all away. How many of us would love the chances he had? no respect for him whatsoever.

Give the lad NO chances.... He has a worse Reputation than Barton....

Give the lad a trial....no good no contract....simple!

I wouldn't risk signing him.
By all means offer the facilities, physio, dieticians etc... if he wants to play for Leeds, he'll get himself fit and prove he still wants to be a professional footballer.
With the promise he showed, definitely worth a punt but, at present, not on a contract basis.
We have some of the best facilities in the sport and if we can get the lad fit and playing again... who knows?

I hope ed is right and gfh have frozen the fu des and given warnock two games ( I'd prefer no e or one game but)
I would rather warnock sacked and no new ayers but a new manager than warnock not bei g sacked and wasteing more money!

Personally don't think its funds that's been frozen think its basically ghfc only have funds to for minor signings ie tonge and hall both jones and warnock has advertised players in last 2 post match interviews byram and becchio we will sell 1 or both of these players replacing them with lesser players warnock strikers he has looked at is cameron jerome kenwyn jones matt tubbs non of em are good enough brand new owners same old transfer policy

I doubt there is an issue with money available they just don't want to spend for the sake of it. Its probably down to business logic rather than fan logic. They are probably thinking why spend money now and pay the extra wages for the rest of the season. Money will be spent in summer when the manager role has been cleared up, what is spent now will be enough to give us a chance at playoffs but little more.
