Heard a rumour that Jordan Rhodes has said if Town don't get promoted the club he'd favour to be at next season would be Leeds United....rumours from several Huddsfield Town fans is that he's already agreed to join Leeds United next season don't believe this though! {Ed013's Note - Leeds do not have the funds however I would like to be proven wrong}

If we sold McCormack to bring in Rhodes i'd be happy.

Have to agree about mcCormack -dispensible if we can get a real striker

Leeds do have the funds, but ken bates WONT spend the funds.

I wouldn't think of selling mccormack and bringing in Rhodes unless mccormack says he will not sign a new deal as we would be no better off infact we would probably be worse off as we will maybe get 3 mil for mccormack and Rhodes will cost 4 mil + and hes not a proven goal scorer at championship level and mccormack is. if Rhodes is to come in it would have to be in a part x with clayton and maybe paynter

He was their best player on Saturday by far, and he is far too good for league one and could still probably get in some of the lower premier league teams. LS

I am not a Smith fan at all but I have to say the Huddersfield fans were a disgrace tonight at the end. Never any need for physical attacks. Have to agree with the previous post about the ironies tonight - they all "hate Leeds scum" but their manager still has Marching on Together as his ring tone, apparently! {Ed001's Note - just to point out, Smith was on the bench due to picking up a knock and wasn't fit to start.}

Not sure, for what wages he would want I feel we could get a more hungry youngster, he's 32 not ancient but I would rather somebody early 20's with a promising courier infront of them. 20 goals in 77 apps for Bolton over all, not sure on assists But could we do better?

Often a sub at Bolton but always looks a danger when I have seen him... we could do a whole lot worse and have in the past

Similar style to Beckford, can drift in and out of games but can produce magic when he hits a ball, lacks pace but you cant deny his goal scoring ability.

Warnock has stated that he will be very dissappointed if he hasn't signed two or three players this week, as he goes on holiday on the 25th.
he also states that two or three of his targets hav'nt been mentioned in all the speculation to date, as he want's to keep them under wraps !, If he gets the backing of Bates then all looks to be going well for next year, MOT

Just read this as well in the YEP does this then mean we can exclude Norris , varney, duiof even green and halford? Hopefully they will be good additions

with Dalglish having a soft spot for scottish players and also Liverpool need a good winger for Andy Carroll
