Leeds tried to get Becchio back but he wanted more wages than he was on at Norwich from a Premiership scout, let's hope he has padded bottoms for the comfort of all the benches he will try out.

U sayin we tried to buy him back or loan?, if it was to buy I can't see why he'd accept enithing less then what he's on, I'm guessing at this point in his career he thinkin about securing his and his families future don't blame him myself, a loan deal is the more likely of the options is any truely r avaliable

Agree0 Disagree2

Utter rubbish, Leeds have not made any enquiry about Becchio and have no plans to do so.

Agree5 Disagree0

Doesn't ring true. Brian will be weighing up his options -he's not the sort of man to rule things in or out categorically. An intelligent pragmatist. Chapel A

Can people give it a rest now it's starting to get annoying, all these ex player links are giving me a headache.

Agree4 Disagree0

We don't even need him. He has had his chance at a higher level and is not up to it. Let him rot at Norwich and get someone younger in.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree he was very quick to jump ship too stay well away in BMD we trust.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think if becchio were offered to come back and on less wages than he is on at norwich, he, d jump at the chance, bad career move by him, think he now regrets leaving us, as now the club and the team seem at last to be on a upward curve.

Agree0 Disagree0

In all honesty why would we want him back? The team is playing better than I have seen in years so why would we want that lazy argie back up front. Hunt may not score many goals but his work rate and chance creation is like no other striker (bar ross of course) I have witnessed at leeds. We need to forget the Becchio's and Beckfords and crack on as we are doing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not even making the bench now?

Billy Sharp wants to join Leeds

Believable66 Unbelievable72

Oh I hope so, he is exactly what we need, you can't win games without goals & we ain't gunna get many goals, not with our goal shy forwards, Billy Sharpe & a decent winger & we are sorted.

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree its exactly what we are missing a proven goal scorer

Would love to have Billy Sharpe but will take more of these one goal wins all reason long. Super Leeds MOT

Agree2 Disagree1

One goal wins made Leeds United great!

Agree2 Disagree1

Unless Southampton reduces their demands, we're not getting Billy Sharp.

Agree1 Disagree0

What is the obsession with an average championship footballer? Get some ambition! There's some young premier league starlets available on loan but you'd prefer Sharp.

Agree2 Disagree0

Like who!?

Agree0 Disagree0

Average championship player? he's a proven goalscorer, in the championship which is what we are lacking besides the width.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes exactly, like who? Sharp is a prem player isn't he? He would b good addition.shrew leeds

Agree0 Disagree1

Most would prefer Sharp as he is a proven goalscorer at this level, not a "Premier League Starlet" yet to prove his worth anywhere.

That being said I would prefer a loan move for Guidetti than Sharp. Younger and proved in Holland's top division he can score, and if that league is good enough for half of Chelsea's youngsters.

Agree1 Disagree0

Guidetti - Man C - 21 year old scored 20 goals on loan at Feyenoord the season before last and went on loan to Burnley the season before that so we've got a chance. Would prefer Vaz Te or Carlton Cole to Sharp if we were looking for experience

Agree1 Disagree0

Please name the young premier league starlets we could sign on loan which would improve our team. Please be realistic

Agree0 Disagree0

Carlton cole? you taking the pi55 I would rather carlton palmer who was in my opinion one of the worse players ever to wear the shirt.
