Shame Warnock's not on that list. JD

Agree4 Disagree1

Paul Ince is signing for Blackpool

Agree2 Disagree0

McGhee (McGee as you say) is now the Scotland Assistant Manager and isn't looking for a return to club management.
I would be happy with either Adkins or Coyle from that list, but to be honest anyone is better than the drivel that we have to endure under Warnock.

Agree3 Disagree0

Simon Grayson

Agree1 Disagree2

Out of that list I would only accept, adkins, coyle or di matteo. rest of them wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Agree6 Disagree1

David O'leary.

Agree4 Disagree5

Most of this lot are available for a reason, or series of reasons.

Roy Keane? Pass the sickbag.

Agree3 Disagree0

Have a word with urself most of them have failed at this level and below i'd have di matteo or adkins

Agree6 Disagree1

Grayson is the man!

Agree0 Disagree8

Funnily enough as our defence is looking stronger Grayson may be a fair choice!
At least we played good attacking football.
Personally it has to be Adkins or di matteo for me though (from that list) keane ha ha!

You've left off mr Grayson, whoops!

Grayson, Adkins, Di Matteo or Coyle for me. In that order too! I know it's said that you should never go back, but I think Grayson was sacked way too soon. He has a good pedigree of going into a club and getting them promoted from where there are. Perhaps time away from the club, and more importantly, coming back to a chairman who won't slit his throat at every opportunity, is what is needed

Agree0 Disagree3

Would Steve Kean even interest you?

Agree0 Disagree1

All failures for one reason or another and anyway we don't have a managerial vacancy niels doing the best he can with jokers that are supposedly running this great club, we all know he has been there and done it all before let's get behind him and the team as the song goes marching on together

Agree0 Disagree1

O'leary or Grayson is my vote MOT

o leary all day long, gives youth a chance.

Agree1 Disagree3

Your forgetting one crucial factor in all this. Ken Bates, lying scheming old b. d, told Warnock lies all along the way, what happened to the " wait while the January window that's when we will invest in strengthening our squad? Becchio swap For Morrison plus 200 grand, Warnock free transfer and some unkown from Begium who I can't even be bothered talking about, and now the new owner's are trying to sell us on for a quick profit?

What an uninspiring list -was it posted with tongue firmly in cheek? Of those, only Adkins, and possibly Di Matteo, would be even worth considering. Personally, I'd wait until the summer for Poyet, who would be capable of building a team based on a sustainable strategy; or Lambert, if he becomes available. If Neil goes now, I could see the merits of O'Leary as a caretaker, as it would probably give us the chance to find out about our upcoming youth. Chapel A

Oleary only did well because firstly George graham sorted the defence and secondly he had loads of money to spend.

Agree3 Disagree0

Both the things you say are true - Graham did a great organisational job, and O'Leary did benefit from money. However, there was a third element to his success -the success of his youth policy. Arguably, things started to go wrong for O'Leary when he was given serious dosh to spend (from Ferdinand onwards, through to the madness of Fowler and Johnson). The wonderful free-flowing football of 1999-2000, built around youth, was arguably the high point of O'Leary's management. The 5-2 thrashing of Man City that season in the Cup was a perfect case in point -witness the wonderful technique shown by the youthful Kewell and Bridges, amongst others, in that match. Chapel A

What have any of these managers ever won compared to Warnock?
Support him, don't destroy him!
SA.

Agree0 Disagree1

What about Moyes, he is out of contract in summer and if Gfh flip the club for profit, why not. He manages well on a shoe string budget

What is all this o'leary stuff! He was part blame for our downfall, the youth side was down to grey, he never won anything for us and did a 5h1t job at villa, where's he now? Far east! Let him stay there. APN-ING63

Agree3 Disagree0

Bring back Eddie Gray

Agree0 Disagree0

What's with the love of Warnock? Hoofball? I say O'Leary

Agree0 Disagree2

What has any of these managers won compared to warnock? are you kidding?
di matteo won last seasons errr what's it called? oh yeah CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Agree0 Disagree0

Eddie gray is a puppet and judging from his commentary he's lost he's plot anyway

Agree1 Disagree1

O'Leary? Please tell me you're having a laugh. He's proven since Leeds that he can't manage without a massive budget. The youth system Wilkinson set up blossomed just as he took over, coupled with ridiculous spending and he still failed to win anything.

Agree3 Disagree0

Joe Jordan!

Agree0 Disagree1

Howard wilkinson, is available

Agree0 Disagree0

Id wait and see what happens at wigan and see if martinez is available- put the blue print in swansea while he was there and look at what they've achived-and at least we-d get to watch decent football

good odds on Brown being sent off tomorrow?
tough tackler but 20 mins too slow

Believable28 Unbelievable8

Are you suggesting he has 'quicken' up then!

Agree0 Disagree0

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, but your right, he will be warming up just as the final whidtle goes :o)

Jerome Thomas to sign for Leeds on loan after Blackburn signed David Bentley.

-MS

Believable5 Unbelievable61

What have these two signings got to do with each other?

Agree0 Disagree1

?. Have WBA got a relationship with Blackburn.

Agree1 Disagree0

I thought Thomas only looked interested about 10% of the time. Spent the other 90% wandering about bored like he was out shopping with his missus. I put more effort in getting a coffee at half time.

From what Warnock has said then I can't really see anyone coming in on loan. I think we are unlikely to get relegated and are not going to make the play-offs so I reckon GFH will not sanction any loans. They are more likely to stick with the players already at the club, keep the wage bill as it is and look at what pans out when the season finishes, most likely appointing a new manager (hopefully Nigel Adkins) and see what resources he needs.
