The same rumours that surfaced before and had no substance then? Rubbish! Believe it when I see a new owner.

I heard a very similar rumour 3 to 4 months ago, i heard it was a media magnate type. call it an educated guess but kerry packers son jamie is well known to buy sports clubs and is a good friend of russell crowe (leeds fan).
also worth in the region of 14 billion australian dollars. and does spend a decent ammount of time in this country.
this i believe is not an idle rumour.

Yes heard this too a while back, I think tony dorigo was supposed to have some involvement too
Agree0

Yes skippy whispered something about this to me last time we were in the bushes

Would prefer aussies to buy out leeds rather than dodgy russians.

I have heard this too as I live in Cronulla south Sydney Australia and I am from Castleford in West Yorkshire. The Guy is called Nathan Tinkler, he is a self made millionaire through coal mining and already owns the Newcastle Knights rugby League Club. My colleague lives in Newcastle and he says its allover his local town....??

PLS COME AND BUY INTO OUR CLUB.. sort out the heavy ticket prices. cut kids to a couple of quid they are our future otherwise they'll all be walking around in scum and chelski tops in the lLS post code.

Thought a person couldn't own 2 football teams so how is that going to work?
Agree0
Disagree0
Newcastle knights are a rugby league team, not a football team, so could own both teams, please check YOUR facts before acting like a tit.
Agree0
Disagree0
If Newcastle Knights WERE a football team, he still wouldn't have a problem as their paths would never cross in the same competition

Tom lees is playing out of position , we need to get someone on loan to play rb
Believable20
Unbelievable12
Tom is young and versatile hes doing a good job we desperately need another cb tho leaving o dea to play lb
Agree0

Don't know wha'ts happened with Connolly. One of our better performers last year, back 4 should be Connolly - Leeds - O'Dea - White
Agree0
Disagree0
Connolly was average at best last year. too many bookings, hes slow and cant tackle, the bradford game showed that!
Agree0
Disagree0
Connolly is a solid Championship player, but every player suffers dips in form. Name another right back who is playing in the Championship who you'd prefer.
O'Dea is a centre back who can play left back. If we brought another CB in then it would in place of Kissa. Lees isn't ready to play CB in the Championship just yet.
Agree0
Disagree0
O'dea is not a bad centre back but a less than average left back. Young Charlie would be a better bet. Better still a decent experienced full back. Aidy white again ok but still learning and probably a better bet on the left side of mid field in the long run. Tom Lees doing ok at right back but really a CB. Full back on both flanks is where we are weakest.
Agree0
Disagree0
Connoly better performer!!?? are you right in your head he is one of the worst players to ever wear a leeds shirt!!
Agree0
Disagree0
Connolly is poor at best, a player that couldn't keep a place in a derby team def is not good enough for Leeds! As for a fell back I would prefer, I don't think we need a full back with White and lees, they are great positions to blood youngsters, however I do feel cb is still position to strengthen, unfortunately paddy has lost it, and o dea doesn't have the qualit we require, we need a top class experienced CB, the no nonsense type, then we need a younger, ball playing CB, this is what Bromby brought to team, but unfortunately hasn't got the legs to do it. Another option is partner lees with o dea and get a RB in, but I prefer, 1 or 2 new CBs offloading o Brian and either or paddy or Bromby, IMO it has to be paddy as all iv seen him do this year is wrestle people to the ground, and we could get a tidy sum for him too.

Lees isnt the answer hes had 3 poor games in a row and was a fault for both goals against palace. taylor should be in ahead of white he can actually tackle
Agree0
Disagree0
Connolly shocking but young lees doing ok but out of position but one for the future for sure.
Agree0
Disagree0
Young Tom had a tough time last week against palace but to be fair hes playing out of position and he didnt get a great deal of protection from the midfielders. Need a RB and mayble lets see the lad in his normal position
Agree0
Disagree0
Do non of the above posters every visit ER? lees has cost us around 3 goals so far. Hes solid 90% of the time. But the other 10% is costly. Paddy is too slow and looks far from the player he was :( o'dea is hit n miss. Aidy white get knocked about too easy. Charlie taylor cant last 90 mins at full pace. Refering to palace game when the lad was out on his feet... The most consistant defender we have is bromby and his throws are a massive weapon with becchio, keogh, forrsell in the box...

I see nobody has actually named another championship right back they would prefer.

United have been linked with a loan move for Stoke City midfielder Danny Pugh ever since the Football League’s emergency window opened last Thursday, and Grayson has not ruled out the possibility of another new arrival in time for tomorrow’s match at Elland Road.
“Just because we haven’t been linked with too many people over the last couple of days doesn’t mean we’re not doing anything,” Grayson said. “I’m trying to bring in another player for the weekend.
“I know we keep saying that and it’s step-by-step but there is money available and the chairman (Ken Bates) is backing me in trying to bring these players in.”

Cant see leeds signing anyone in on a emergency loan till after the 28th cos the 93 day rule

We keep hearing the same line "money is available". Maybe, but we never use it. I feel like a storm trooper hearing the words "these are't the droids your'e looking for". Wool being pulled over the eyes.
Agree0
Disagree0
Yeah he must have so much money available I mean look at the heavy investment this summer...
Agree0
Disagree0
Leeds do have the money, but whats the point spending it on players when theres many quality free agents out there and loanees
Agree0
Disagree0
This could be the same headline that we are told every single weekend, and most times never materialises
Agree0
Disagree0
Use some of this money available to pay decent wages for loanees then we mite actually have a chance of bringing in some decent defenders like Wayne bridge and an established center half

I am a Leeds fan from Stevenage. He can play right back or right midfield, not bad but don`t know if he could cut in championship. I would look at Mark Roberts Stevenage, a centre back and natural leader.

Although i am not denying there could be some truth in this rumour, i once read in the sun that a dog ate a Vanish Wash tablet and the dog vanished!
That's the sort of news substances that come out of the Sun! {Ed007's Note - LMAO. Good one mate.}
