Warnock will be @the Leeds Hilton Monday dinner ....he and bates had a meeting on Thursday in monaco regarding the vacancy....
he will be announced on Monday p.m. That he is the new lufc manager on a 18 month contract.

Sad to see Peter 'the puppet' Lorimer leeds legend currently being reduced to the role of Bates mouthpiece in YEP. Constantly having goes at Grayson knowing that he wont be able to have a go back. Latest gem states he not happy at critiscm him bates and harvey been getting as they have done b*****r all wrong - PRICELESS!, they are deluded. Needs to stick to pulling pints in that grotty pub of his

Past legend respected - but needs to keep stum and start talking sense

Don't think he will be there much longer - Bates gave him his role to keep the fans happy as he is a legend - but all he is doing now is making a fool of himself by revealing his true role as another Bates puppet , as soon as Bates realise the fans are wise to it he will serve no purpose

Personally I am sick of the criticism levelled at Lorimer. He works for Bates and does what he has to to keep his job same as everybody else but without Lorimer and the rest of the lads of the 70s this club would be nothing. I love Lorimer, I don't agree with all his comments but I love him all the same.

Whatever you think of Lorimer he is now publicly stating something that was evident a long time back, Grayson lost the confidence of the team as a whole, full stop.

I was fortunate enough to watch Lorimer play for Leeds, and I know deep down where his loyalty is, like mine.

You all state that we need 'transparency' and yet when it comes along, like this, you just kill the messenger?

We do have players that don't want to play for the shirt, they just want the money.....

Lorimer is still around, 40 years on, like me.....

He could easily have walked away, like so many others have done, both on and off the field.......

I seriously don't believe he he needs whatever Bates may be paying him by way of remuneration?

To be fair, you can't really blame the boardroom for the players not playing well. Surely that's the fault of the players and the manager who bought them?

About time Leeds fans let Lorimer know their thoughts of him. A few anti Lorimer songs at ER would be a start.

No true Leeds fan would speak like that about a Leeds legend.

Loriomer is a puppet - not becasue he isn't speaking the truth that Grayson lost the players, he probably did - but to knife him in the back when he knows he can't respond is a classless act.
To then claim that the board have done nothing wrong in their running of Leeds United is astonishing
He's suppossed to be the link between the baord and the fans, but all he's doing at the moment is widening the chasm with his ill-thought out bleatings

What were now going to start anti lorimer songs at ER???? Are you really serious. Yes you might not agree with what he says but he is still here after 40 years at this club. The one he played for the one he stayed close to and lets be honest Grayson DID lose the dressing room> I dont know why but the players wernt playing for him as much as I liked him the results just wernt good enough. Lay off Lorimer and try singing for the team instead. ER should be the nosiest place on earth today. Lets scare Donny to death

No it's not on any BBC site dont understand putting something down that just doesn't exist what is the point

I saw it on the BBC website. It was on the Sportsday live section. It was actually BBC saying that someone on Twitter was saying NW was seen at TA. Gossip and rumours, not facts.

Warnock to be announced after doncaster games, will sort the team out and hopefully will be able to get in to the play offs with a bit of luck

Warnock will be the new leeds boss
grayson odds on for the huddersfield town job

Much as I hate Warnock, anything would be better than the situation we are now in..........

Scratching shed now reporting that Wornock is now odds on favourite for leeds job. Never liked the guy but would be very pleased.

Getting shorter by the minute. 1/3 on now..colin's coming!

Just been reading on the Leeds Banter page that Glenn Roeder (worst teeth in English football) is climbing the ranks in being next Leeds boss, still not odds on though, Odds have been slashed from 33/1 to 7/1 in just today!?

When you make something up, just remember other people have the Internet too! Oddschecker gives a list of all prices on the next Leeds manage, Roeder is anything from 16/1 to 40/1.money this morning is for warnock, with Bruce going to wolves.

Miller and Warnock both met this morning, seems a done deal at last. Warnock to work behind the scenes and has agreed to sign a contract of intent. Deal was Leeds to go up next season as Bates didn't want to pay any back tax without investment. Miller wants this season and Warnock to keep us up on a shoestring

What has Miller got to do with the appointment of the new manager?

Also "the deal was to go up this season" Yeah because its that easy to just decide to get promoted when it suit you.
