i saw ross today and he said he wasnt going to agree a new contract as it is not what he values himself for last season. i think personally he being a bit greedy.

That doesn't put him in the minority does it? All footballers are greedy, well as soon as they have a weasel agent dealing for them.

Hope Andy Hughes gets a big welcome if he comes back to play against us at Elland Road. Brilliant attitude and a very under rated player in his time at Elland Road, not a world beater but 100% effort {Apologies guys, my mistake that was meant to say WAS! No idea how it ended up like that. Andy Hughes was a Gent and generally nice guy that wasn't greedy}

Makes me laugh, you bump into Ross and start to ask him about his personal financial situation and he spills everything to you!

Media understands that Manchester City starlet Reece Wabara is attracting plenty of interest from Football League clubs looking for loanees.

The 20-year-old defender is held in high regard at the Etihad Stadium, but remains some way down the first-team pecking order.

He has made just one senior appearance for the Blues to date, and that came on the final day of the 2010/11 campaign.

With opportunities limited, City opted to send him on loan to Ipswich Town last season.

The youngster impressed during his time at Portman Road and interest in his services this summer is steadily mounting.

It is understood that Barnsley, Huddersfield Town and Leeds United would all welcome the opportunity to offer him another taste of the Championship.

If he is not at Portsmouth we would not be interested

I think you'll find that's true of ANY club, that's how they survive.....

For what I've heard and seen Austin could well be our next icon at Leeds. He's not afraid of going in for a challenge and for what also heard. He claims that the goal at the weekend was his last for Brann. Bring this lad in before anyone else snaps him up. #MOT

That was when 5 subs were the max - this season its 7 again, so I think NW will have a regular keeper on the bench, Daft not to really.

As if Lonners had a chance when hes competing with Warnock's love child!!

NW will and has said he will train up.one of the younger outfield players as a keeper and if needed throw him on.That was about three weeks ago.

Be more sense to train up our young goalkeeper as a midfield player.....

We have Bromby, who is a very good sub goal keeper, that why he was always on the bench, he does both roles.

Probably a young keeper now will have a chance as we can have 7 subs, cant see us having 7 players left for the bench unless we buy some more tho!

Would rather see the young lad cairns get a run out rather than see lonegran sat on the bench unhappy.

We have Alex Cairns, surely with 7 subs he can be back up to Kenny?

As above, we have Alex Cairns, dont take NW as a fool once we get the 7 subs system. NW see's quality and Alex is that, with Kenny there, he's a better experienced player to pull Alex through!

As for Lonergan lovers... he was 30 great.. rest of time, okay to poor!

Why would Lonnergan be on the bench? He is a way better keeper than the second rate keeper we have just got from a third rate club. Come back Bates, at least we got decent players when you were here.

Lonergan was never going to get a chance next season unless Kenny was injured so dont blame him for going just a shame he never got the oppurtunity to play behind a good defence

I could see him going to a premier league team. Swansea would suit him

Wont go swasnsea as annoyed he was on bench there last season, he is centre mid and very good but cant see him at leeds and think he will go west ham just as a gut feeling. brian howard was featured on sky sports news as free transfer of the day. very good creative centre mid. wouldnt be a bad call?

Was at Swansea last season he boy is top draw player just needs games won the euros too.

Chelsea think very highly of him and was their best player ore season last season doubt he would want to come to us.

I think loan rules should be changed to say cannot loan a player to another team in same division.

He is a quailty player and he should come to us, We are Leeds

I heard on Talksport radio that Sam Baldock was a target for Charlton. I would love to see him at Leeds. He scored 5 goals in 6 starts for West Ham last year and looked really lively. He only lost his place after Fat Sam bought more strikers. He would be a great signing for us.

Who does anyone else thing would be good?

Halford is more of a warnock type player than peltier long throw, and great from set pieces

Its on ssn that he has been left at home when the rest of squad has gone to spainish training camp
he is quite miffed that he has been left in dark by the club and been told to find a new club himself
would be a decent signing as he can also seek forward and grab the odd goal MOT

You can't find anything anywhere cos he made it up.

The rumour was doing the rounds before and Warnock made an enquiry and turn his interest on his second choice right back.

i have a friend who knows a friend who has a friend who knows billy paynter and he said that shef wednesday youngster jack stobbs is joining for 10k

This is partly true, the offer will be made for him but he has not accepted. It is down to him whether he joins us at Leeds but he is a quality player and will be a big asset next season

I know Jack stobbs personally and I can tell you as a mate of his he is not joining leeds

The deal needs to be done soon doesn't it? The players need to start concentrating on the football side of things to ensure we get off to the best possible start this season. Everything just seems to be up in the air - are Snoddy, McCormack & White leaving, what's happening with the investment/takeover? I don't know if the players know anything about the situation or not, but if they are like us fans then the constant guessing game surely can't be any good for pre-season preparations. Not been negative just realistic - hope we get some good news soon & the signing of Rudolph Austin would be a massive bonus! AB

Leeds United keeper Andy Lonergan is expected to be unveiled as a Bolton Wanderers player today.

Lonergan underwent a medical at Wanderers last night after Trotters boss Owen Coyle won the race to sign the Preston-born keeper for a fee in the region of £250,000 – beating off interest from Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday, who tabled similar offers.

Money from the sale of Lonergan is set to be used to help push through a deal to bring SK Brann’s defensive midfielder Rodolph Austin to Elland Road, with the Jamaican international desperate to join United, who tabled a bid of around £200,000 late last week.

Warnock has been quoted saying he will look for a sub goalkeeper as 7 subs is plenty of options and also gives youngsters a chance.
