i saw ross today and he said he wasnt going to agree a new contract as it is not what he values himself for last season. i think personally he being a bit greedy.

Believable10 Unbelievable24

That doesn't put him in the minority does it? All footballers are greedy, well as soon as they have a weasel agent dealing for them.

Loyalty is an endangered priciple these days
Excroggywhite {Ed013's Note - Andy Hughes wasn't, a true Gent of the game}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if he stays he would be good up front with jordon rhodes as he is coming at the end of the month

Agree0 Disagree0

Good I hope the fat bloke goes and papa smurf lets nw have the money to buy players

Agree0 Disagree0

So where did you see him then? Walking his dog? Having a medical? Conducting the takeover? Roundhay Park....

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously not the same place as the previous poster who says that he is staying.... HEY WAIT WHAT'S GOING ON!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Andy Hughes was a true Gent of the game}

Hope Andy Hughes gets a big welcome if he comes back to play against us at Elland Road. Brilliant attitude and a very under rated player in his time at Elland Road, not a world beater but 100% effort {Apologies guys, my mistake that was meant to say WAS! No idea how it ended up like that. Andy Hughes was a Gent and generally nice guy that wasn't greedy}

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes me laugh, you bump into Ross and start to ask him about his personal financial situation and he spills everything to you!

If Ross isn't telling his team mates he is hardly likely to talk to some stranger walking past

Very poor rumour

Strong rumours that McCormack is staying at Leeds and should be announced into tomorrows YEP

Believable14 Unbelievable18

I So hope this is true! Him, Snodgrass & White NEED TO BE KEPT At The Mighty Leeds United!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We need him badly snod if we get a decent fee and only a decent fee should leave aidy white is lg2 standard therefore good enough for celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see it, he has turned down the new contract and Leeds havent offered any new one..nothing changed expect to see him depart next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he does go and for a chunky fee , he had one half decent season , missed far more chances than he scored and all of a sudden he thinks he's premier league standard . we can do much better MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Affraid not. NW doesnt want him, take the money and buy 3 players he does want

Agree0 Disagree0

No ONE player is that important or indeed bigger than the team. Get shot I reckon. Any player who rejects the offer to play for our once great team, shouldnt get a second one (unless the offer was derisory, and with Bates who knows)

If Aiden white was that good he would have been snapped up by now, I do hope he is sweating. If there was a god the only offer he would get would be from a lower division. get shot too i reckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get 1.5m for him it would allow nw to buy some players. There is obviously no money being put into the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Neil Warnock hasn't said he doesn't want him, he ssaid that if he wouldn't sign the contract (extension) then Leeds would have to sell him while he is worth something.

It would be nice to keep McCormack AND Snoddy, as the main problems we had last year were at the back of the pitch, not up front....

Media understands that Manchester City starlet Reece Wabara is attracting plenty of interest from Football League clubs looking for loanees.

The 20-year-old defender is held in high regard at the Etihad Stadium, but remains some way down the first-team pecking order.

He has made just one senior appearance for the Blues to date, and that came on the final day of the 2010/11 campaign.

With opportunities limited, City opted to send him on loan to Ipswich Town last season.

The youngster impressed during his time at Portman Road and interest in his services this summer is steadily mounting.

It is understood that Barnsley, Huddersfield Town and Leeds United would all welcome the opportunity to offer him another taste of the Championship.

Believable11 Unbelievable9

If he is not at Portsmouth we would not be interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets try to buy him if he is that good and that way down the pecking order you never know your look in raffle.I personally can't say that I know the lad but if he's that good you never know!

Leeds reject Norwich bid for Snoddy, just announced on sky sports news, we won't be a feeder club for the canaries, MOT

Believable16 Unbelievable3

Ive said this before, if he is that necessary and if indeed NW wants to build a team around hin either make him a better offer OR make him play out his contract, if he is that essential for promotion. PAUL LLHB

Agree0 Disagree0

"We already are a feeder club to the premier league or any team that will pay ££££ "

I think you'll find that's true of ANY club, that's how they survive.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Its true for smaller clubs that NEED the transfer funds to survive! We should not be in that position fianacally or want to be labelled as a feeder club. We are bigger and better than that surely?

He is from Huddersfield but his dad who is his agent is a massive Leeds fan.

No chance! When wAs fit last season was called up to england. Why wud he drop a league. Wud cost 10mill! rubbish rumour made up

Agree0 Disagree0

Unlikely -until we get to Prem. Rather a decent player on his day, and recently called up by England, so well regarded on high. Why would he drop down a level at 24 when just re-establishing himself at the top level after injury? Chapel A

Leeds united have rejected a transfer request from snodgrass

Believable11 Unbelievable20

For what I've heard and seen Austin could well be our next icon at Leeds. He's not afraid of going in for a challenge and for what also heard. He claims that the goal at the weekend was his last for Brann. Bring this lad in before anyone else snaps him up. #MOT

Leeds are set on signing Varney before Friday's first pre season game.
Peltier is always on his way saying leeds are a bigger club.
The funds from lonergans sale should pay for at least one of these transfers and hopefully bates might reach into his pocket

Believable13 Unbelievable8

Austin is now a priority signing. The Lonergan sale has given NW the money to sign him. I've watched him on youtube. He's exactly what we need

With the funds made from the selling from Andrew Lonergan, Leeds will make a counter offer of 400k for Austin, Nunez to also go to Scunthorpe in the next week

Believable19 Unbelievable3

Futacs is coming in as 3rd/4th choice... Beckford's staying put.

Agree0 Disagree0

If beckford does go it wont be to Leeds, we cant afford his wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a silly rumour going round the takeover has gone......dont be fooled by them...everything is on plan and is due to complete soon...i'm sure if it was going west it would have gone ages ago...this one will go through, just taking a while...no surprise as they are probably pulling Uncle Ken off the door way now!

'The takeover ended weeks ago as I suggested on this forum, some reason the editor didn't put any more of my information on the website, perhaps scared it would end any interest in his web page!'

Get back to your own board you clown thats if there is anyone on it which i highly doubt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trouble is the "it's going to happen today, tomorrow" brigade really know no more than the rest of us. We've had weeks of speculation on here and think we need a statement from the CLUB. Meanwhile we are either signing or are linked to players who aren't exactly inspiring me when we are talking millions of investment. The longer this goes on the more the doubters both inside and outside the fan base will feel they have a point

Agree0 Disagree0

Its nothing to do with paperwork, uncle ken still wants the rent from ER and TA

Just seen on twitter that we will go
for George Boyd if Snodgrass goes

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Oh that's definitely true then, Warnock always uses Twitter to conduct his transfer business, it's so confidential and accurate....

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow never knew NW had a twitter page and annocuned targets on it

Agree0 Disagree0

Not saying this will happen but Moose the reporter from talksport tweeted this so it might have some substance but only if Snoddy goes but he wont so its ok {Ed013's Note - I would go for Boyd anyway.Something different in the team}

Agree0 Disagree0

Boyd would be good but it seems there is no money

Agree0 Disagree0

I would really like George Boyd here anyway, regardless. I would sell McCormack to get Boyd here. With Boyd on one wing, and Snoddy on the other, we would be deadly! (and if we had Beckford and/or MacKail-Smith in the middle, we would be unstoppable!) Chapel A

Mr lonergan did not want to fight for his place funny how the hunters run when they become the hunted! MOT 4 life

Melkijonny

Believable11 Unbelievable8

NW never puts a keeper on the bench.so why would andy stay

Agree0 Disagree0

That was when 5 subs were the max - this season its 7 again, so I think NW will have a regular keeper on the bench, Daft not to really.

Agree0 Disagree0

As if Lonners had a chance when hes competing with Warnock's love child!!

Agree0 Disagree0

NW will and has said he will train up.one of the younger outfield players as a keeper and if needed throw him on.That was about three weeks ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be more sense to train up our young goalkeeper as a midfield player.....

Agree0 Disagree0

We have Bromby, who is a very good sub goal keeper, that why he was always on the bench, he does both roles.

Probably a young keeper now will have a chance as we can have 7 subs, cant see us having 7 players left for the bench unless we buy some more tho!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather see the young lad cairns get a run out rather than see lonegran sat on the bench unhappy.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have Alex Cairns, surely with 7 subs he can be back up to Kenny?

Agree0 Disagree0

As above, we have Alex Cairns, dont take NW as a fool once we get the 7 subs system. NW see's quality and Alex is that, with Kenny there, he's a better experienced player to pull Alex through!

As for Lonergan lovers... he was 30 great.. rest of time, okay to poor!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Lonnergan be on the bench? He is a way better keeper than the second rate keeper we have just got from a third rate club. Come back Bates, at least we got decent players when you were here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lonergan was never going to get a chance next season unless Kenny was injured so dont blame him for going just a shame he never got the oppurtunity to play behind a good defence

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jul 2012 12:26:21
Varney will join Leeds before they start there pre-seaon games on the 20th July, that deal is very close.
Austin wants to join and we want him, might take abit of time though as it is overseas.
Peliter- we wont be able to sign when/if the takeover happens because of lack of funds.
Aidy White will leave and looks like is heading for Celtic.
Micheal Brown will stay, cant see him getting a bigger better club than Leeds. Good squad player.
Ross McCormack looks 50/50.

Believable9 Unbelievable9

Personally, i reckon brown may go to hartlepool to end his career.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think McCormack will go, when the 'price is right' to fund the other deals without having to let Snoddy go?

Josh McEachran is not ruling out another stint out on loan. I would love to see him on the left of midfield

Believable6 Unbelievable11

Good signing if it's true! But he may not want to come...

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a central midfielder played there all his life

Agree0 Disagree0

I could see him going to a premier league team. Swansea would suit him

Agree0 Disagree0

Wont go swasnsea as annoyed he was on bench there last season, he is centre mid and very good but cant see him at leeds and think he will go west ham just as a gut feeling. brian howard was featured on sky sports news as free transfer of the day. very good creative centre mid. wouldnt be a bad call?

Agree0 Disagree0

Was at Swansea last season he boy is top draw player just needs games won the euros too.

Chelsea think very highly of him and was their best player ore season last season doubt he would want to come to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think loan rules should be changed to say cannot loan a player to another team in same division.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a quailty player and he should come to us, We are Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read on YEP that Lonners left for a fee estimated to be £200,000! That is bad business IMO, he is easily a top 5 GK in this league, it was just a case of our defence was as solid as wet paper towels. Think Bolton are laughing at the min, should have been kept as a No2 at that offer!

Believable10 Unbelievable6

He wouldn't accept being a second keeper and Warnock doesn't often put a keeper on the bench.

Bolton may be pleased but we have a much better keeper in Kenny.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I never really rated lonners that highly. He always looked vulnerable to me!? Having said that £200k is cheap for a half decent gk at his prime age!

It's common knowledge though that Warnock doesn't entertain 2 gk's ... Never even has a sub keeper!

Scot MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

Id say hes worth about 750k-1m anyone else agree?

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock does not play with a keeper on the bench, so there's no reason to keep him unhappy

LufcJay

Agree0 Disagree0

When Lonners got injured our defensive form picked up when Alex McCarthy came in on loan... After returning he never looked at his best to me.

MOT Peter

Agree0 Disagree0

£200,000 how does the YEP know. SSN states undisclosed fee. JD

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think it made a lot of sense to sell him and bring in Kenny. There is not a lot of difference and Lonergan is only 28 compared to Kenny 34 but it is up to the manager

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can get Austin for 350.000£ I`d take the 200.000 for him any day......if that what takes to finance Austin.

Agree0 Disagree0

What i saw of him he was a joke, we need the money for better options else were. bromby and carins cant be much worse. at times he didnt even look like a keeper, we can do better and need options else where like the other ten spots in the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on lads!, £200K for him, is a great deal for Leeds, he isnt the best goalie in the championship but did us proud, but times move on, Bolton will find life very difficult in this League, they are there to be shot at now, thats the big games, BOLTON, BLACKBURN, WOLVES, yeah people love to play Leeds, but we arent high up on peoples wish list now.

£200K = 1/2 of Paddy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arn't the Football league going back to 7 substitutes for 2012/2013, if so he will name 2 keepers?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes my friend 7 on the bench, so expect 1 goalie in that and 6 forwards if we all know NW!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm actually OK with that. I think we as fans were guilty of over-rating him on the basis of his first dozen or so appearances; and then he never found his feet again really when he returned after that injury. Overall, nice bloke and top pro, but not really an overall improvement on Kasper; and in between times Alex Mac showed us what really top goalkeeping looks like! So poor old Lonners was always on borrowed time after that I felt. Chapel A

I heard on Talksport radio that Sam Baldock was a target for Charlton. I would love to see him at Leeds. He scored 5 goals in 6 starts for West Ham last year and looked really lively. He only lost his place after Fat Sam bought more strikers. He would be a great signing for us.

Who does anyone else thing would be good?

Believable13 Unbelievable6

17 Jul 2012 11:32:19
Lonergan has been sold to Bolton for an undiscolsed fee (on the OS). I would expect to see Austin signed soon as this sale will free up some cash to get him in. I for one think we could have maybe kept Lonergan to provide some competition for the goalkeepers place, although i would prefer to see us sell Lonergan and get Austin in, he looks like a machine and i think will do well for us.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Leeds to step up the chase to try and sign Greg Halford from Portsmouth after failing to sign Lee Peltier.

Believable9 Unbelievable8

Oh no not another Portsmouth player rumor!
I guess I should just be happy it's not Kanu

Agree0 Disagree0

Where have you heard this, Can find nothing on any site to confirm this?
Excroggywhite

Agree0 Disagree0

Halford is more of a warnock type player than peltier long throw, and great from set pieces

Agree0 Disagree0

Its on ssn that he has been left at home when the rest of squad has gone to spainish training camp
he is quite miffed that he has been left in dark by the club and been told to find a new club himself
would be a decent signing as he can also seek forward and grab the odd goal MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't find anything anywhere cos he made it up.

Agree0 Disagree0

The rumour was doing the rounds before and Warnock made an enquiry and turn his interest on his second choice right back.

Wouldn't it be nice for the deal to be done and for us all to get on with wondering who we will sign or sell, ohhhhhhh we can only dream.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see a journalist whose got the inside line on this one telling his mates before breaking the news through their media outlet. In fact, they'd often be in breach of contract to do this.

Do get a grip mate, and stop letting these WUMs get to you.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Work for a firm of solicitors in harrogate who do all leeds united buisness the deal is definately off, sorry I support leeds.matty85

Agree0 Disagree0

The deal needs to be done soon doesn't it? The players need to start concentrating on the football side of things to ensure we get off to the best possible start this season. Everything just seems to be up in the air - are Snoddy, McCormack & White leaving, what's happening with the investment/takeover? I don't know if the players know anything about the situation or not, but if they are like us fans then the constant guessing game surely can't be any good for pre-season preparations. Not been negative just realistic - hope we get some good news soon & the signing of Rudolph Austin would be a massive bonus! AB

Glad I don't use that company of solicitors then because your grammar and punctuation is rank and if you're a reflection of the company.... H for Harrogate. L for Leeds. U for United. BUSINESS! I didn't know that Addleshaw Goddard had an office in Harrogate?

The silence from the club and others would suggest the opposite to what you have intimated in your post as there would be no need for silence and a clear need to inform fans of what is going on. THE future of Leeds United striker Ross McCormack is expected to become a lot clearer within the coming seven days, the Yorkshire Post understands.

A trio of clubs have registered firm interest in the Scottish international with Huddersfield Town among the front-runners as Simon Grayson attempts to sign a second player from his old club following the capture of Adam Clayton earlier this month.

McCormack, United’s top scorer last season with 19 goals, has entered the final year of his Elland Road contract after turning down the West Yorkshire club’s offer of a new deal.

With the striker having made it clear that agreement is unlikely unless the offer is substantially increased, Leeds will not allow his contract to run down as that would mean the Scot leaving on a free transfer next summer.

Instead, it seems McCormack will be sold in an attempt to either raise funds for Neil Warnock to reinvest in the transfer market or allow the United manager to bring in a major target as part of a swap deal.

To that end, sources in Brighton have indicated that tentative talks have taken place between the Yorkshire club and Albion manager Gus Poyet over a possible swap deal that would see McCormack head to the Amex Stadium and Craig Mackail-Smith travel north in the opposite direction.

Agreement, however, is far from close with the Seagulls board believed to be keen on a cash adjustment due to wanting to recoup more of the £3.5m fee paid to Peterborough United striker a year ago.

Brighton and Mackail-Smith are away in Spain at the moment preparing for a friendly tournament that also includes League One Portsmouth but further talks are planned, while the other clubs interested in McCormack are also expected to step up their own attempts to secure the services of a striker who finished fourth in the Championship goalscoring charts last term.

I really do hope we don't swap him for McCormack, and I definitely don't want us to be handing money over as well, what a waste that would be, just have a check on the goals per game ratio for either player and McCormack is way ahead of Mackail-Smith, we have Becchio as our enforcer up front I can't imagine them working that well together as they are too alike (albeit Becchio is better). Why can't we be aiming higher, Nicky Maynard or even D J Campbell, not someone who only manages a goal in every 5 games for his current club! MOT SussexLeeds

Leeds United keeper Andy Lonergan is expected to be unveiled as a Bolton Wanderers player today.

Lonergan underwent a medical at Wanderers last night after Trotters boss Owen Coyle won the race to sign the Preston-born keeper for a fee in the region of £250,000 – beating off interest from Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday, who tabled similar offers.

Money from the sale of Lonergan is set to be used to help push through a deal to bring SK Brann’s defensive midfielder Rodolph Austin to Elland Road, with the Jamaican international desperate to join United, who tabled a bid of around £200,000 late last week.

Wonder who we have for cover for Kenny,any one but Rabduka {Ed013's Note - Young Cairns and Bromby!}

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather have Bromby in goal than Rachubka any day....

Agree0 Disagree0

Look if things get that bad that we need to play paul ra-crap-ka (see what i did there) i will happily offer my services and they can play me insetead. im 29, 5'7 and weight in at just under 14 stone. ninja cat like reflexes, brave and great shot stopping one of the best 5-a-dies keepers in kent and london (offical goals stats) only problem i want wages of £50 a week or the equailavant in macdonadls burgers so like with every other signing in the last three years wages may be a problem for bates

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck to the lad, albeit not at the expense of the Mighty LUFC, we need some stronger cover than the youngster, not quite sure who though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would have been good to keep Lonergan, I like him anyway but would have been great back up for Kenny especially as not having a decent back up keeper last season proved to be abit of a down fall. However if the money does help capture the signing of Rudolph Austin then I'll be a happy man! AB

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock won't put a goalkeeper on the subs bench anyway, I suspect if Paddy gets injured he'll loan a new goalie in....

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock has been quoted saying he will look for a sub goalkeeper as 7 subs is plenty of options and also gives youngsters a chance.

Leeds have signed rodolph for 500k. Stoke, villa and qpr have tried to sign in the past. Good signing imo

Agree0 Disagree0

If its true sounds a very good signing and i hope snoddy will sign a new contract on the back off this gazza

Agree0 Disagree0

Gonna need more signings than this to keep snoddy as we still dont have a full strength squad yet still be short 2 or 3 midfeilders and when mccormack goes we will be short of 2 strikers . still need a rb and maybe another cb as we have lees that can cover at rb if needed

Will believe it when it's on the OS and not before - all hearsay till then!

How will we get a work permit for austin when others have failed

Agree0 Disagree0

He has played the mandatory amount of international games.

Apparently he has played 75% of ganes for jamaica therefore will qualify for work permit, when the other teams were interested in him he hadn't so would not qualify for work permit. hope this clears it up

yorkshire post this morning are reporting the deal to sell leeds united is still on and they belive no problems have been found, they also think the bid from norwich to buy snoddy is around the 1.5 million mark which i think is an insult.

Believable14 Unbelievable6

I agree 1.5 million is not enough but if he wont sign a contract what can you do

i hope he signs and it will send a message out to leeds fans and clubs that we are no longer a selling club and if anone does want any of are better player that are going to have to pay for them

Agree0 Disagree0

"I agree 1.5 million is not enough but if he wont sign a contract what can you do".

There is always the option of making him play out his contract.(a la Beckford) If we feel is presence is essential to secure promotion then the loss of a transfer fee could be viewed as an investment, although i acknowledge this is always a risk.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's spelt Khalifa, leaving me to doubt your living in Bahrain. Also I'm not sure the local gulf radio (please name the station) would refer to him as Khalifa, as this is the family surname of the ruling royal family. It would be like someone on the radio here saying Windsor is taking over lol. He's referred to as Sheikh Abdulrahman. Meaning your a lying goit and should return to supporting your tin pot club

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, Let the sad pathetic troublemakers say what they like. We're Leeds, we've been through it all before. I've been quite disciplined all close season not buying into all the Bullsh!t and "Beckford" back and this one and that one. Even I'm feeling the pressure now. I'm trying to minimise what's going to happen so that if we get an old donkey jacket and a dead wood pigeon, then I won't be too disappointed. I'd really want to believe that Batesy is going to pull it out of the bag though.............C'mon!!!

Guys.... We are buying players. 'BUYING' not freebie loanees. For the first time in years 'WE ARE BUYING' and trading like a team on a mission. Takeover talk is nice but dont let it detract from the team building and new season. Either new owners / investors are funding or KB is funding for regeneration. NW is happy. I am happy and looking forward to new season with more signings. Dont let some wacky comment throw you off course... WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A FIGHTING TEAM THIS SEASON MoT

Sky sports score centre football app says Chris Hughton made a bid for Snodgrass. Rumoured to be £8 mill. If that was the case I would take it........ Good player but £8 mill is a lot of money and could help push through a few deals that we are all aware off sooner rather than later

LP

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Pie in the sky. No-one will pay £8m for Snodgrass, with only one year left on his contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

8 mill would be insane......a great deal. KB would do naked cartwheels down briggate! Neither will ever happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

My mistake, apologies. It read "The 8 million rated player" not they have bid 8 million.

Either way, lets not lose out like we did with Johnson & Beckford. Lets cash in, and move on

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute nonsense even if he had 4yrs left on his contract he'd only be worth 1.5-2 mill at a push

Agree0 Disagree0

Daily Mail says 5M. We won't get more than 6M for him. Not in last year of contract. I expect him to go for like 5.5M.

Agree0 Disagree0

''Absolute nonsense even if he had 4yrs left on his contract he'd only be worth 1.5-2 mill at a push''

Erm, What planet you on mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

My feeling are that snodgraass would stay and sign a contract if the club was showing that thay would push to get in the prem so if he does go that does not look 2 good to me as i thought n.w was building a team round him

Agree0 Disagree0

"Absolute nonsense even if he had 4yrs left on his contract he'd only be worth 1.5-2 mill at a push"

He is actually worth WHATEVER SOMEONE WILL PAY, no more, no less.

Must admit, I don't want Snoddy to go, but if he won't sign a new contract and we are offered such stupid money then we grab it, takeover or no takeover. It would finance a whole 'half decent' team.....

... over to you Snoddy? Sign or pack your bags, you've had enough time to think about the club's intent, and seen the start of the rebuilding?

Agree0 Disagree0

1.5 -2 mil go away howson went for 2 and he was injured . snoddy will end up going foe 3.5 mil

Agree0 Disagree0

I think snoddy is really hoping to get bought now but is willing to run his contract down , the only way snoddy would sign is if we look like getting promoted come January. if we get an offer of 3.5 mil it should be enought to take him from us as we wont want to risk losing him for nothing at end of season.
i don't think we need snoddy to get promoted but we need the money from his sale to get us promoted

Agree0 Disagree0

From what I read on this site Snoddy would prefer to take Leeds back up to the top.

He is in the perfect position (for him) at the moment, in that he can sit things out for a while longer to see exactly what happens on the ownership front and what money comes available for players.

If it looks like things are fair dinkum, he will re-sign, if not, then he has to do what is best for him and good luck to him.

AussieMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we would only get £3m if another club came in and there was a bidding war. He only has a year left on his contract. Nobody would pay £8m or even £5m. Shame to see him go, but it looks like we need the cash to bring in NW players

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the fact that 8M is mentioned show just what a load of crap this is, even Sky are making their own rumours up now....
