Understand Monk has decided to sell Bamba. Right move imo. He will still get a club in the championship just the lower end. Means we will need 2 central defenders or maybe one of the younglings can step up.

Agree that it is a good move. I was at the Shelbourne game last week and even against weak opposition he made a couple of silly mistakes. He's just too big of a liability in my opinion.
In terms of youngsters Denton looked fantastic in that game. Although he is quite short so left back might be better suited for him.
Monk started Diagourga at CB in that game and the big man looked alright. He can win aerial battles and his range of passing is good. Could be a good fit.

Last season he probably cost us between 6-9 points. Bellusci cost us about the same in the end.
I'd be happy to see him or even loan him away, would be good to sell and get some cash to spend.

You have to be joking? You can't compare Bamba with bellusci. Bamba is a much much better defender, bellusci cost us more than 6 to 9 points also. Bamba will have no problem getting into another championship team because for me he was our best CB last season ahead of bellusci and cooper. Big mistake getting rid of him. Every defender makes mistakes n probably didn't help having to play along side bellusci who was shocking.

Absolute rubbish I think. Belusci was responsible for some points given away but he more than made up for it with the points he saved. Points were really lost because we couldn’t score and the mid field went missing too many times. Look at the goals conceded when it mattered (up to the last few games) . Belusci and Cooper were a much better option than Bamba and Cooper. Bamba has a poor record and should be replaced of the three CHs mainly used he was easily the worst. Interviews well though If we could have created more and kept possession better pressure would have been taken off the defence we would have scored more, won more and finished higher up the table.

Bamba on his day is top class but unfortunately his days are numbered at ER now I believe. When he first joined he looked premier class but last season was guilty of many errors mainly due to concentration and general sloppiness.
Should we keep him? Depends on who may be coming in i'd say.

No Bamba actually has the better record when playing along side cooper than when bellusci was playing along side cooper. Bellusci was shocking, Bamba yes he made mistakes but far fewer than bellusci n bellusci never learnt from his mistakes. Bamba will get another decent team n be a regular imo.

Yes, stats are out there Bamba has done better than bellusci for Leeds. He was the best CB we had last season n by quite a mile aswell. If we sell him I would be worried as that would leave Leeds with cooper n that old Italian who is rumoured to be joining. Silly all these comments saying he's not good enough for Leeds lol do you people actually watch football he has to be 1 of our top 3 players. Who would join who would do better than Bamba seriously?

Why are you saying sorry for Lancaster? Your entitled to your opinion but all i'm saying is I strongly disagree, bellusci for me was a complete joke of a defender, look how many times he got dispossessed by him being so slow at clearing the ball n thinking he was a 1 man team. I'm not saying Bamba was great but none of our CBS were any good last season including cooper n a lot of blame went on Silvestri when if we knew how to defend he would have been great aswell. Doukara was harsley treated too. Look at botaka for instance hardly had a game and yet everyone judges him as not good enough lol this is why players like bridcutt won't join permanently because Leeds fans are to quick to judge as even some fans said he wasn't needed lol when he was brilliant last season for Leeds. Also people said selling cook was a bad thing well I'm sorry but 1 goal last season for a midfielder is awful and ok he's young but just watch him in the prem, that's a player that ain't good enough.

Both of them are awful, bambi wasn't too bad till he was given a contract and then turned terrible . bellendusci well I thought he was in on some corrupt betting syndicate with some of the ridiculous errors he caused.

Wow no offence but cooper was by far our best centre half last season Bamba plays like he's on ice every week and bellushi well there are know words for that guy if coops and Bartley stay fit then Bamba won't get anywhere near them 2 anyway.

Hesslian is right about the midfield and the attack hence why we have brought in two strikers and a winger already.
You're still going to lose points from poor play though and for some reason Bamba couldn't even pass to our midfield. It was like a child was controlling him on FIFA in some games.
Bellusci did do well but did lose us the points albeit at least whilst defending (except Boro) which is going to happen.
I like Cooper he is maturing nicely a great signing in my opinion.

All 3 center backs had good and poor games bamba is a leader he has the experience that Cooper doesn't have and bellusci well his mistakes came from a lack of confidence you could tell by a mile when he was confident . Same as every player needs confidence and I don't think Steve evens gave the players that I really don't think we saw the best out of the team.

Bellusci far more ability and more consistent than Bamba last season -just not as easy a character, so not as popular. It's not a popularity contest!
