Leeds to sign danny pugh in 500k deal. With chance to sign perm. He will play his last game on tues for stoke and then be a leeds player. Source duncan castles, usually spot on.

You can see his thinking play pugh at left back and push white up to left midfield or vice versa, hopefully we can get another fullback from somewhere

Yeah i think he's a good player for the championship but like you say we still need a solid cb!

I think the thinking behind this one is to use white as a left sided winger, push snoddy onto the right as he has been starved of the ball recently, so he can cut in from the right, pugh as a left back and that opens the door for tom lees who has impressed so much this season to get his chance in the heart of defence, now that kisnorbo is suspended its the perfect oppertunity. i also think we need to try bromby instead of O`Dea?

The transfer window is closed only the loan one is open...grayson will only bring him in on loan and then if he impresses then he will buy him

Yeh but kisnorbo is only suspended for the man utd game so this weekend all will be the same with Danny Pugh at lb n aidy white at lm

I think the kit-man has missed an 'r' off the end of O'Dea's name. Get rid of all the centre backs bar Paddy and the youngsters and let's just start again. Bromby, O'Dear, Bruce et all are simply not good enough.

He won't play his last game for Stoke, he's not in their squad!

Is it not a 25 man premiership squad and not restricting players for Carling Cup consideration?

It's common knowledge he will (or probably won't) be joining Leeds, so lets change the record????

To the person that thinks we should keep Paddy, have you wtached Leeds this season or even just watched the highlights? Obviously not otherwise you would know he is finished after that injury. He has now become a liability like teh rest of them. Hate to say it but Bromby is fast becoming our best centre back. We needs four new defenders and quick!

Paddy will get stronger and stronger throughout the season, yes he lacks a bit of pace but playing alongside a quicker full back would do the job i think. Also think we need another LB keep Lees at RB

Anyone know what's going on with the Pugh deal? Any other potential loans in the pipeline this week?

Grayson said after game, deal just about done for a player, but his club wants him to play in Carling Cup next week

Paynter to go out on loan

Ye SG said he's ready to go out on loan due to the strikers we have wi Lucci coming back n Forssell in and Nunez can play up front.....so its bye bye Billy......M.O.T

Theres no need to abuse leeds players like in the second post he has tried but it just hasnt worked for him

Im the second poster, but i just didnt think he was good enough maybe im a bit harsh but his performances got on my nerves, if he goes and does well fair play to the lad, and to the lad below me, just because i have an opinion on ONE player doesnt make me any less of a LUFC fan than you, i think forking out Uncle Ken's extortionate prices for the scum game proves this to get behind the team, and in all fairness im always one of the first to stick up for SG when people get on his back when it is clearly undeserves

And for the fourth post, if he does go out on loan, SG usually has them back better like Lees, White, Clayton, Somma, Nunez, if he proves me wrong and does well for us IF he does go on loan and chooses to fight for his place here then fair play
