Two bits of positive news doing the rounds today, Leeds are in talks with lassogo but refusing to pay anything near his ridiculous wages and Wood has been offered a 3 year extension, whether you want him to stay or not, this will put it all to bed finally, either he signs and stays or refuses and leeds cash in.

Not keen on this German from Hamburg if he doubt leeds are right for him then I'm sure as hell he isn't right for leeds. We need proven quality that knows the division, not another unknown 5th choicer from Hamburg . TC I guess doesn't have too much faith in Ekuban or he would have been on against Preston and Fulham when both games were there for the taking! If Woody goes I realistically think we need 3 new forwards, douks is seemingly surplus to requirements as well!

Hmm that "snub" is a bit quick off the mark. Way too soon for news to leak. That's a journo guessing. Why leave it till now so late in the window to offer a contract anyway? Wait till end of window, show he's going no where, offer then. If he doesn't want to sign, he's there till january and if he's scoring still, the price we want will be paid If Bates was in charge is be much more cynical Number of players he sold right at the end of window with no time to replace them was staggering. Always with a " my hands are tied" plea.
