My brother in law is on security at leeds, he says the rumour going about today is Moore ex Swansea boy is going to sign if we can get all the paperwork sorted out and his contract cancelled, that fits in I suppose with what mcdemott said after game, he been speaking to someone but its complicated that's why, I don't like the player so I hope he's wrong.

Believable47 Unbelievable28

Hope not, his goal record is atrocious and has a lot of negativity from ex clubs for being lazy!

David haigh tweeted at end of thanks to everyone for support, that there was good news next week?

The Jyg

Believable48 Unbelievable17

Why as anyone put "unbelieveable" when it clearly states that on Haigh's tweet.Trevo

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Ignore the kids that do it as a substitute for not being old enough to drink or for rival fans that find their time best served on another teams page pressing unbelievable ;-)

Good news Next Week How many next Weeks Are There? Usual S##te to keep the natives quite

Agree2 Disagree1

Peoples tweets can be easily hacked into. How many times have we heard things are going to happen soon / next week. I'm sick to the back teeth of people using Leeds United as some sort of publicity machine to boost their egos. In my line of work you don't boast on social media you just get on and do it and tell people, if you need to, once you have.

takeover to be confirmed. These are our new owners so get behind them - no one else has come in with an acceptable offer. They have seen off Bates, Warnock, Harvey and Williams and have tried to bring the club back to the fans. let's be positive.

19 Jan 2014 11:01:48
Maybe the ones clicking unbelievable aren't disputing what it says on Haighs tweet, they just don't nelieve there's any good news.after all we've been hearing the same promise for god knows how long!?

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Jan 2014 11:46:10
I think he's hinting at takeover but is that good news when we can only afford to target likes of Luke Moore and Leroy lita? Sounds like our usual out of frying pan!

Agree2 Disagree0

They need to buy better quality players, that's the only news I want. Otherwise develop the younger players into a team that can play the ball on the ground with confidence. No disrespect, but players past their best or not quite good enough are a waste of time and money. We only need to stay in the league and grow.

Agree1 Disagree0

Leeds ar known for the top draw talent that comes through the acadame.why spend money on transfers when they need to give younger lads a chance and let them prove them self's b.m.d knows this

Heard joe allen and chris wood being talked about?

Believable16 Unbelievable32

Hope so but I can't see joe allen moving down to the championship. chris wood would be good.

Agree1 Disagree0

If true? That would be good both quality which would make a nice change. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

No chance for either of those two

{Ed013 - Good evening all, please take a few moments to vote on your man of the match from today's game on the Blog/Poll page at the left-hand side of here. There is also a new poll on who impressed you the least. Thanks in advance, MOT}

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Warnock for me, but lees and byram looked better, vinny.

Agree2 Disagree0

The worst players on the pitch were the 2 new signings! Chapel A

Agree5 Disagree2

Luke Varney actually impressed me today up front with Ross McCormack

Agree5 Disagree1

Varney looked a different player and Austin looked better but I know he missed a couple but Ross for his work rate never stopped running

Agree4 Disagree1

Good thing about Varney is his energy, something we've been lacking. Chapel A

Agree2 Disagree1

Sorry but strikers are supposed to create chances and take them, not just chasing lost causes and commiting fouls. Other than the cross for McCormacks header he offered nothing in terms of scoring goals.

Agree1 Disagree3

give the new players time

Agree1 Disagree1

I may go against the grain here, don't like the guy but going to say brown.he's endless commitment to trying to be 1st to the ball, scaring there midfield into not being able to pass forward and his work rate in getting forward and back too

Agree6 Disagree0

As much as I would like him to move on, but I actually think Michael Brown was a contender for M.O.M today, never stopped battling, something we lack in midfield.

Agree7 Disagree0

I don't get why people don't like brown?

Fair enough he's not going to get you 15 goals a season and will receive more bookings than the rest of the squad put together, but there is a reason for this.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and is 110% committed to every challenge, match and team he has ever played for.

I can promise you, no Opposition player likes to line up opposite him and dreads to see his name on the team sheet.

If every Leeds player had his mentality I would be a happier man.

Onwards and upwards

MOT

Agree3 Disagree1

Yeah Michael Brown for England!!! sorry got a little carried away there, lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

Michael Brown produced the type of performance that got him noticed at Sheff Utd. He turned the clock back and agree MOM. However, how often can he do it?!

Can anyone tell me why Brian didn't shake hands with Pearson after the game? PA

Believable13 Unbelievable24

It was because Pearson belittled MB in a recent pre-match interview . Not the type of talk expected from a fellow manager.

Agree4 Disagree0

Why didn't you just type who even MB was instead of saying that. Who's MB?

Agree0 Disagree2

Sorry Brian McDermott . happy now.

Agree1 Disagree0

It's easy to be arrogant when your top of the league we deserved to wipe the smugness of his face today

Agree1 Disagree0

Ok mate. Reading it now I think I was a little angry after having point snatched off us by an average team on the day.

Agree1 Disagree0

We were simply not good enough today again. no excuses please. I noticed him not shaking hands with Pearson. the man in charge is sly and just a yes man for GFH. BRIAN OUT

Agree2 Disagree7

18 Jan 2014 22:14:31
We played best we have for a long time today. It was a good all round performance with all areas looking good just lacked the ability to put the ball in the net which at the end of the day is what really matters.

Agree4 Disagree2

Still barely passed the ball. Most of our chances were courtesy of defender mistakes

Agree2 Disagree1

Pearson is a smug git
if leicester go up he will be out xnas

Agree3 Disagree0

Barely passed the ball? Was u even watching that game, it was far from total football but we certainly outplayed them in all departments today we was just unlucky and anyone who says other wise is wrong

Agree3 Disagree1

Bang on no leeds fan can complain about todays effort we showed the league just how good we can be when we want too. We play like that every week guaranteed playoffs and well done brown today called in from the cold and was excellent 36 year old wish the others would show as much passion as u did quality!

Agree3 Disagree1

There goal was very lucky and a mistake by Paddy Kenny-we need another keeper as well

Agree1 Disagree1

You cannot blame kenny for the goal, lees let nugent get in front of him.

Agree1 Disagree1

If we play like that every week we'll be in the play offs?? What utter garbage! We couldn't muster a shot in the second half. More like relegation fodder mate. Ps please send the 2 #hit wingers back!

LUFC KEK

Agree0 Disagree2

Thought Kebe showed some promiese this weekend, but neither of em have been regulars this season, they need time to bed into the team.

I don't think you can call the new players so early in their Leeds careers when they joined at such a low point of the season. We were on the back of another embarassing defeat before they were drafted in, in the wrong formation.

Give em a chance!

Better performance, shame no points.
Do not be suprised to see ross in premier league if not this window the next.i can't name the club but someone whos a friend and works in premier side told me they really like him and if another target doesn't come off they will go for him.
They are looking at a player fromabroad but got competition.
Take it with a pinch of salt if you like but there is def a chance. shrew leeds

Believable9 Unbelievable40

He is not good enough I am afraid!

Agree5 Disagree1

For lower half team he might do ok

Agree3 Disagree0

Not good enough?! you are joking right. Rossy boy is top. Having given him more responsibility should help in resisting any future potential in him.

Agree1 Disagree2

"He is not good enough I am afraid!"

You are either blind or stupid or both

Today's performance was a total contrast to the past two weeks, even Rudy excelled! Was a pleasure to watch and a total fluke/lucky goal gave Leicester a win they didn't deserve

Agree4 Disagree0

He is good enough for certain teams and I can say its a team in bottom half. He may not even if given a chance want to go to the team in question. Not that safe. Shrew leeds

Agree2 Disagree0

We played well considering we only had 10 men, because that Stewart didn't want to know again, he's like a little boy lost, you can see it on his face that he is out of his depth and really not comfortable he's like a frightened puppy, one of the worst signings we have ever made, no wonder he could'nt get in Charlton's starting eleven, what did BMcD see in him???

Agree5 Disagree1

18 Jan 2014 19:05:31

He missed with a free header from 6 yds and a one on one, with no disguise or faint or anything. Is that premiership class?
You need to set your standards higher mate then Leeds may get out of the championship.
I wasn't commenting on the performance as yes it was a zillion times better than previous weeks. But it would have been even better had Ross scored - which he should have done.
I know he can't score every week but I think he would struggle in the premiership which is what the post was about. We are all entitled to our opinion.

Agree3 Disagree1

Doing really well, dominating Leicester, then two ridiculous substitutions, bringing Peltier & Diouf on for Kebe & Varney? how the hell can they improve anything??? HOW? and then Leicester scored! WHY, WHY.at least take that scared little lamb Stewart off, the less said about him the better.

Agree4 Disagree1

Must be norwich

Agree0 Disagree1

Strikers don't score every opportunity they have. It's ridiculous how people get on Ross's back just because he misses on. Leeds would be screwed without him, end of. He's have scored even more by now if we played a more suitable system more often. He is easily good enough to play in the prem.

Agree1 Disagree1

He can't even get in the Scotland squad. He always misses one on ones and does go cold

Agree1 Disagree1

Leeds are unable to fund permanent deals until the takeover is done which is unlikely to get done before the transfer window shuts

Believable61 Unbelievable29

Well looking on th bright side we've brought in two better players already than previous windows

fawksey

Agree1 Disagree3

It's an absolute joke!

Agree6 Disagree2

Yes so yet again we can't bring in any quality players during the transfer window thanks a lot GFH. Roll on next season. MOT

signing paco alcacar from valencia next week 800k

Believable20 Unbelievable63

I hope this has some truth in this because he is a hot prospect for the future and could be a gem. where did you get this info?

Agree2 Disagree0

Please let this be true! I relly can't see it but if so this is a major coup for leeds.

Agree1 Disagree0

No we not! He rated to highly! Maybe on football manager.

Agree3 Disagree2

I hope this is true, he has had some troubles with his father dieing so young but we could be the change he needs.
Also the last player we brought in after personal strife was the chief and he did Ok fir us. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

Leeds will not be signing any player next week, or any other week in January, for £800K, as we simply do not have any money.

It will be loans only ( And poor ones at that ) until the takeover is complete, if in fact it does actually go ahead. And from what I've heard, that is far from certain.

18 Jan 2014 14:50:07
