Was talking to a mate today who is apparently "in the know", and to be fair he's got a few things right about what's going on at the club (a few wrong as well!), and he says someone claiming to work for Leeds has spoken to Crewe regarding Max Clayton and were quoted a seven figure sum.
Not sure if anything will come of it, but got to be worth a punt for say £1m.
Here's hoping.

Palermo have added a midfielder to their roster this afternoon in the form of Leeds target Robin Quaison from AIK Solna
I think Leeds should be happy they didn't buy him. Cost a lot of money and isn't really that good. Leeds could have used him in about 1-2 years.

Hi Guys - my friend from Italy has told me some very interesting news. Its a good source and was right about a few of the other transfers. He reckons that Cellino is chasing Juan Jesus from Inter and a deal is not far away! What a signing that will be! MOT!

Continuing in the Italian market, Leeds can expect the arrival of Gaetano Berardi, Sampdoria defender.
Negotiation have already started, and can close the same day. Berardi arrives at Leeds via Sampdoria, it is for a two-year contract plus an option for another season. MOT

I think we are safe from signing Heskey, for one thing he doesn't play for a Serie A team or has ever been loaned to a Serie B team.
Sure this Heskey rumour appears on here every summer - hope it continues to be wrong
& as for signing an ex England internationa, Michael Ricketts was an ex England international!
