Ali Al-Habsi to Leeds in January window. He's fed up of being frozen out at Wigan and can't see himself getting his No. 1 jersey back, sees Leeds as having more of a chance of being back in Prem and sees an ageing Kenny as an opportunity to be a first choice again.

He is not in a position to agree to join anyone while the window is closed but if someone is prepared to pay 3.5m I would say good luck to them. That is a big gamble and way too much imo but let's just wait and see.

Al habsi is a very hollywood goalkeeper and I wouldn't want him at the club. Looks like he has to dive to save shots that are right at him every time

Yeah, I hope he's learned from whatever trouble's he's had - he went on loan to Chester and was sent off in his one and only appearance within minutes - didn't play again. Also heard an unpleasant sounding allegation surrounding his departure from P'Boro, involving a paper-boy and the use of a baseball bat. hoping it was just an allegation with no substance there, and hope he's got his feet firmly on the ground as the lad undoubtedly has talent judging by his youth record.
