Clint Hill and Shaun Derry to sign!! {Ed037's Note - That's nothing to get excited about!}

Believable34 Unbelievable71

We don't need anymore oldies in the squad thanks

Agree2 Disagree0

Yay more 35 year olds just what we need

Agree0 Disagree0

Today's performance was a disgrace. I do not know if GFH log in to this site but if they so how manage to do so my message is. Open the purse strings and invest in some quality Leeds are somehow only two points outside the play offs and you're investment will be more than compensated if Leeds get promoted to the premiership. Be brave or else I am afraid it will be mid table mediocrity for Leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Two more on the wage bill

Agree0 Disagree0

GOD....hope not mot

OMG load of sh**e, lets have someone decent for a change!

Agree0 Disagree0

We would be better off signing the lad who is the diouf fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Clint Hill not too bad to stabilise the squad but not Derry again ? Are people who are being paid to scout and look for players running out of ideas or lacking enthusiasm. Is this the best you can can come up with. 'SACK THE SCOUTING STAFF' Or is this just a NW quick fix

Agree0 Disagree0

Damn it if we get any more of warnocks old crummy players we might as well form
a team of pensioners!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think these two will strengthen the defence. NW is shrewd, these would not be bad signings. Surplus to QPR requirements so a bargain and allowing more cash for more players

Agree0 Disagree0

Quickly becoming eland road retirement home we have to know what's inside warlocks head with his transfer policy if either of these signs he has just signed a 24 year old player and stressed he is one for the future sorry you sign 18 to 20 year olds as players for the futur

Agree0 Disagree0

Neither of these players will add anything to the squad that we don't already have. Both would be a huge waste of money

Agree0 Disagree1

If we do sign these two OAP's I will start calling for Warnock out.... His love affair with Brown, negative formations, defensive approach and long ball tactics are very frustrating and will not get us promoted. George Boyd has to be our main target, we desperately need playmakers. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical Warnock! Since he's come in the majority if players he's added to the squad are old but will work hard. When will he learn this isn't the 80's anymore, when you got the glut of your promotions. It's not enough to run around and kick the ball long, you need quality with a point to prove not in the swansong of their careers. Meanwhile our fantastic young talent contiunues being unused, on loan played out of position. Get a grip man, you were a hood manager in the bygone era but too remain at top you most adjust with the times! Ln the.brighter note we still managed to somehow.win today! MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

If he signs these two, Warnock might just achieve what Ken Bates failed to do ... keep my out of ER

Agree0 Disagree0

Just shows what little money we have if more of the same sign.

Jacob Butterfield to sign when his Bolton loan runs out soon. Bradford born and bred and keen for first team football at the age of 22.Top player for the future

Believable42 Unbelievable30

Rejected us for Norwich reserves if i remember right. jog on.

Agree2 Disagree0

Would love that to be true

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 18:11:49
This would certainly be a step in the right direction.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think you've misunderstood the Leeds/Norwich relationship there fella...

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally don't care if he has turned us down in the past, The guy is a midfield player who knows how to pass the ball and that is something we're sadly lacking

Agree1 Disagree0

Barnsley fan here if you got Butterfield he would easily be the signing of the season and push you on the the play offs. Not played much at Norwich or Bolton but oused class at Barnsley

Agree0 Disagree0

Now that would be a statement of intent by GFH ... somebody just needs to convince NW that he's old enough to play in one of his teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hall was signed as 'one for the future' at 24.
Presumably, it'll take Butterfield another 6 years to be ready to join a Warnock side.

Ed, any solid transfer rumours out there? {Ed037's Note - The 3 'T's seem likely to sign (Thomas, Tate and Tongue) aswell as the likes of Boyd... there's also rumours about Derry and Hill gathering pace}

Believable15 Unbelievable18

01 Jan 2013 18:04:42
Tate extended to end of January, wots that about? probably got someone even older and slower lined up on a permanent deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 18:06:52
When Tongue comes back the centre mid will probably be Austin and Tongue, why on earth would we want Derry??

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 18:09:59
All the old men we are continually linked with suggest that Warnock is looking no further than May. He is hoping to get his record and then dump us with a load of old crap while he retires to Cornwall.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd settle for that! I think that would be an improvement.
Fawksey

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm inclined to agree with the third poster, i feel NW is stuck in his old ways and believes that the players he once had can still do the business however the reality is they are 10 and 12 years older now and are simply past it.
foxrat

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you can't put the word pace in the same sentence as Derry & Hill. No thanks what's with the dad's army gang. Will hughes aged 17 ran rings around our pensioners, get some pacey midfielder in to spray passes. {Ed013's Note - I don't agree with them signings mate, we need young, hungry players that can take us forward}

Agree0 Disagree0

That's not very exciting Ed. {Ed037's Note - I know its not, but that's what we've grown used to recently, i'd love to see an energetic CM, a pacey FW/winger and a RB (so Byram can be moved up to RM), but that's not going to happen!}

Leeds to sign Lewis Mcgugan and dexter Blackstock in a combined 1.5m pound deal.

Believable46 Unbelievable41

Far 2 much for the pair of them, blackstock is shocking n we have better already n by miles

Agree2 Disagree0

Would love this to beeee trueee!

Agree0 Disagree1

How can that be true when we 'don't have the money that Leicester have' when they only paid £1.25millin for Chris Wood. if we can't compete with just over a million then were not gonna spend that on two mediocre championship ballers

Agree1 Disagree0

Mcgugan can't even get in forest side he'll be no good for leeds get boyd in instead

Agree0 Disagree0

Blackstock is a good worker and well rated by Forest fans McGuggan is brilliant on his day but only one in five games but I think we'd be looking for more than 1.5 mil for each

Agree0 Disagree1

Lol no one in the right mind is gonna pay anywhere near 1.5 for both of them never mind each lol. blackstock has been poor 4 forest so we obviously dnt need him n mcgugan aint that good but id prefer him deffo but only 4 a mill at the max as im afraid thats what hes worth nothin more.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 12:54:15
Ive heard that max gradel and ian harte are coming back but this about CMS is aload of rubbish, wouldn't mind him but id rather have billy sharp.

Believable36 Unbelievable28

We need ian heart badly as white fails as a left back so does peltier n drury is a poor mans ian harte

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember how Slow Harte was just before he left LUFC for Levante... seen ships turn quicker.... You have all got short memory's ....

He might be able to still hit a decent free kick, but he will get murdered week in week out by the ball over the top

Heard a strong rumour that Jimmy Bullard is to come out of retirement, Scholes style, and sign a 3 year deal. His knees are much better and he knows NW from doing media work. NW for his part thinks he is the missing link and just what we need.

Believable11 Unbelievable87

Sounds like another brown to me.

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope you were dreaming when you thought about J B.

Agree1 Disagree0

Haha this made me laugh

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope to god not, it'll end in tears both on and off the field
foxrat

Agree0 Disagree0

Steve morrison

Agree0 Disagree0

Isnt Jimmy Bullard at MK Dons but injuryed {Ed037's Note - No, he's retired}

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds United the place where footballers come to retire

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right he is the missing link but in mankind terms! He's just between ape and neanderthal

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the original poster.... No, not that Bullard is to come to LUFC, , , Just that he IS the Missing Link !! Ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Thorpe arch has a good retirment home for ancient footballers in the complex thats why we attract players to come out of retirment, also derry and hill in the cue aswell! I hope none of these are true lets get young, hungry, alert and quick players in!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like this rumour to be true more than anything ever! Just for the bants!

Agree0 Disagree0

Please not Shaun Derry, Hill would be ok but no better than tate.

Believable39 Unbelievable22

Did you see the way Hill difended against Liverpool any bit of pace at all and he wasn't seen for dust .

Agree1 Disagree0

They both crap

Agree1 Disagree0

Hill will never join, he said in the paper the other day that qpr players need 2 play for the team or get out so abit weird if he now leaves lol

Agree0 Disagree0

leeds to sign Michael tounge and lewis mugugan before fa cup clash with Birmingham

Believable45 Unbelievable17

Is this tounge player any good and who does he play for?lol {Ed037's Note - He came on loan to us and played around 20 odd games... i personally thought he was great. He chipped in with the odd goal and had a good passing range}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he was been sarcastic ed with the spelling haha

Agree2 Disagree0

I'm drooling for some tounge

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 11:06:51
leeds should try to sign a young lad 21 who playes in aussi land, he, s a kiwi called marco rojas, a class act and would cost about €1, 000, 000. chech him out.

Navanwhites

Believable6 Unbelievable32

Yea hes good but its abit like gradel why would he want to come to leeds when he doing so well already .

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this the same 'wonder kid' who is signing for reading?

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like the sort of player we could do with but not sure about the standard of that league, might be worth a punt though

Agree0 Disagree0

As a exile living in OZ, would say this is a good shout. Very tricky and direct, worthy punt. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

You do know the Aussie league is like league one. Very difficult to judge a player in the A league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone playing far too much FM2013 over crimbo lol

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a good one..!
GET HIM IN..!

Agree0 Disagree0

The kid is very good and will only get better, but the 2nd reply is right, all the word down here is that Reading is a done deal subject to him getting clearance.

AussieMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Rojas has done well - skilled, has pace and knows how to score. He is small though. Will eventually end up in the EPL for sure

Agree0 Disagree0

No that is Rogic that is allegedly linked with Reading....not Rojas !

Agree0 Disagree0

I live in melbourne and he plays for melbourne victory. Good player, but only for the A League. Victory won't let him go either

Agree0 Disagree0

He`s been linked with Forest also.

Agree0 Disagree0

Clint Hill (34), and Derry(35) i hope this rumour from one of the red tops is way of mark!wouldn't improve us at all we need some quality younger players!KEA

Believable29 Unbelievable17

Total agree with this post, going backwards, MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 12:22:13
Ye your dead right clint hill and shaun derry are not good enough to play for leeds if they cant make it in qpr shirt wen there rock bottom ov prem then they arnt good enough to were the shirt simple im a bit gutted that weve been takan over and thats as good as, we can cum up with. Watever appens we could be in coffrence id still support leeds its not about spending big just getting the right players i would rather av. One decent player than two ov the likes ov derry and hill. mot

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 12:25:31
Serious backward step, as i've said before i would rather see Zac Thompson and Charlie Taylor et al

Agree1 Disagree0

Leeds united pension fund has too many members as it is!

Believable3 Unbelievable29

He fits in with leeds players average age

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he's playing golf...probably

Agree0 Disagree0

Cause it does ! He must play golf !!!!

Agree0 Disagree0
