This is imposssible because Lansbury is in Ireland with arsenal reserves so can't play tomorrow.

Also Mcormack costs more than a million so bates won't sign him

Heard from a millionaire friend of mine that lufc to be bought by the yanks.Told me that this wud happen within 6 wks.This was 2 wks ago so only 4 left.

You guys need to get a grip. You come on sites like this and believe that we're after every player we are linked with on here and in the papers. As Leeds have stated before we do not do our business in the media and no one has ever come out and stated we were in for simpson so until its on the official site don't believe it!

It's good there is now a Leeds page on here!

With all the people working in the Leeds ticket offices etc, they would not know anything regarding transfers as this is all carried out at Thorp Arch!

I have a close link with a friend who works in the Finance Dept for Leeds United (he doesn't get too involved in transfers but keeps his ear low to the ground). I can confirm that:

Vieria, Dacourt, Smith will NOT be coming to Elland Road.
Vieria is on around £180k p/week at Man City and would not drop for a measly League One wage offering (that Bates seems to offer to players now).

The Henri Lansbury deal has hit a slight speed bump in a familiar problem (wages!). Shouldn't be too much of a problem and Leeds still expect the deal to go through before 6pm today.

Vassell and V'Gor of Hessilink are dead links. . nobody has offered anything to either player.

Grayson wants to give Somma an involvement against Millwall and decide from there whether he needs to invest in another striker.

Simpson has signed for Hull after declining Ken Bates's offer of £9,000 p/week.
If Bates keeps offering these wages of a L1 standard then that's where we will end up! Needs to get sorted and apparently Grayson is not too happy about it.

Any body got any realistic rumours, or time frames / sources on these so called certain signings. We all know Bates is a tight A* E. But we really need a cash injection, Becchio goes we are well fu*k*d. When are we replacing Beckford?
